Love listening to you talk. It's like listening to a good storyteller. Always on edge of my seat as to what you'll say next. Lol. Soothing and reassuring too. Have you considered doing audio books? You'd be great
I love your use of natural elements! I love all things silver...if you had chosen to leave it silver, will it tarnish and need to be maintained and polished over time??
Thanks! Yes, it would tarnish over time but that can be prevented or slowed down by keeping it out of humidity and keep in a sealed plastic bag when not wearing
This is such a great inventive and creative project! Can I ask - do you think it would be a problem if the wood parts were sealed with an acrylic sealer or painted first ? I see the soldering temperature doesn't burn the wood at all as I guess the copper tape protects it so I assume it would not affect acrylic either?
Thanks! I would advise against soldering or adding any kind of heat to something that has been painted or sealed with a plastic coating. This has the potential to create harmful fumes. You would be best off doing the soldering first!
Hi!! Love your videos so much :) I'm just wondering why you needed to coat the tinned copper with more solder? You said that it needs to be covered in soldered for the patina to stay on it, but isn't the tinned copper basically just copper pre-coated with solder?

@@LauraBethLove Thank you for the advice!

silver or copper

From experience, for a more uniform patina finish.
