Hi. I am 95% sure I have mold toxicity or I have lost my mind. I live in a very old, dilapidated apartment building. I had a major leak that started Dec. 20, 2020. (Land lord is not addressing this issue). I have severe chest tightness and I feel my heart rate go through the roof pretty much all day. I have serious cognitive deficits from it, to the point that I failed my very last class in nursing school (I can't retake my class and graduate until I'm treated, because if not, I'll fail again). I dismissed my signs and symptoms as being exhaustion because I'm a senior nursing student and/ or a new nurse self diagnosing. I also have a history of severe anxiety and PTSD. Can anyone give me some advice? Should I see a pulmonologist, cardiologist or allergist? I went to my PCP and she gave an Rx for Albuterol, performed no diagnostic tests (ZERO), not even a urine test, & sent me on my way. I have no way of describing the physical symptoms as anything other then, it feels like there is a golfball lodged in the center of my chest and my heart rate is insanely high. In addition to the memory loss, inability to concentrate, etc. I stop in the middle of sentences because I forget a word, or I just blank out and I can't remember what I was talking about. My family doesn't believe me, regardless of the evidence of pictures I have, videos of the leak and pictures of the progression of mold growth down my walls. Do I need to test the mold in order to get a proper treatment? If they do find mold spores in my lungs, and I'm assuming the rest of my body, does a mold sample and identification of the organism help drive the treatment? PLEASE HELP ME !!

@@TrekStar11you will need to go to a specialist. Try an immunologist. Most regular physicians aren’t equipped to be able to treat you. Unless your organs are in critical condition, like liver failure or another failing organ, then sadly it will likely not show up in blood work. If nothing is showing up in your blood work it’s because your body is healthy and you don’t have a disease that can be picked up. It’s your immune system that is causing the problems because it’s defending against the toxins from the mold, so you could end up with auto immune issues. So tell your doctor to refer you to an immunologist, and explain to them that the cause is coming from mold. Follow their tests to rule anything out. A bland diet with anti inflammatory properties will help big time, along with over the counter anti histamines like Claritin.

I been sick for 5 months getting light headed n brain fog bad breathing problems and tingling my right hand n tingling on my back plz help my doctors don’t no wats going on or hospital
It’s been two years, but hope you’re still kicking. I’m sure you’ve hopefully resolved the problem, but the first thing to do is remove the source of mold/mildew/dust (mold can hide in mildew and dust). Next is to work on your diet and make sure you’re getting the vitamins, nutrients, and anti inflammatory benefits from certain fruits and vegetables. Garlic, onions, kale, beetroots are all good choices, but be sure to take in moderation as certain things can lower your blood pressure which can be dangerous, especially if you have a medical condition. Limiting things like salt and sugar intake to the minimum and following a bland diet will do wonders, but takes discipline and commitment. Try not to stress so much either, as salt, sugar, and stress can increase inflammation, which can cause more damage to wherever is being effected. Antihistamines such as Allegra and Claritin can help reduce inflammation and symptoms, so it’s good to take one of those things in the morning for your day, but is best not to solely rely on that alone. Get in touch with an immunologist through your primary doctor, or someone who specializes in the field of mold toxins so they can help you remove that poison from your body. Depending on your genetics and how long you’ve been exposed for, the mold could have possibly began colonizing inside you, meaning that even if you remove the source, you’ll still be absorbing and suffering from the toxins, so you’ll need anti fungal medication to purge it from your body. Do not take anti fungal medication if you are still being exposed to the mold from somewhere, otherwise you risk the chance of making the infection resistant to the medication. There isn’t a lot of anti fungal medicine in the world, so if you mess that up you’ll basically never be able to get rid of it. Take those medications under the supervision of specialists and make sure you aren’t being exposed to the mold when taking those meds. Do all of this and you should recover slowly. Could be weeks, months, or years depending on how long your exposure was for.
@@Jesussaves532Yes. If you’re having symptoms and suspect it, best thing to do is get a mycotoxin test kit for yourself and try avoiding the source of mold. If your house is the source then spend more time outside when possible. Those tests can see if there’s any traces in your urine. If you haven’t already it’s also good to get your blood tested by a doctor to rule out anything that may not be mold
Is it more often then not that people have cough , breathing and respiratory issues ? What would the % be that one wouldn’t have these particular symptoms ? Thank you :)

How are you now? It's been a year that you wrote about your horrible experience. Detox EVERYONE detox is the only way to get it out. Cholestramine powder is the binder most Mold knowledgeable physicians prescribe for you . Get a good probiotic, Saccharomyces boulardii is what you want. Mold enters the body by inhalation, skin & eyes. When you touch or move black mold, it turns into tiny microscopic Mycotoxins that can stick to your walls, ceiling, floors, furniture, clothes and the more pourus the item (books 😢 fill up with Mycotoxins) It made me throw up, can't regulate my body temperature, my bad knee is so painful and worse after the Mycotoxins- most likely surgery- icky. My skin is so dry too. I actually got out but limped through a cosmetic shop and I guess the PERFUMES were affecting me I looked down at my arms, they had turned white and flaky, then I left and the dry flakes left too. So what we inhale takes such a huge impact on our health. I read a man who wrote he had lost his wife & a cat to a mold exposed house. Really serious stuff this is.
I have mould in my roof from an upstairs shower leak and have been suffering from a heart infection for months now and still waiting for the repairs . I wonder if there is any link between the two?
Well it’s definitely not a good things to eat, but you should be fine if you don’t have immune system issues like a compromised immune system. Take an anti histamine like Claritin or Allegra, and eat healthy things rich with things that combat mold. Things like onions, garlic, and kale are all things that will help defend and recover from mold toxicity, as well as just help benefit your overall health. In moderation of course

@@lillyrocks2011 you’re welcome and thank you for the kind words. Unfortunately I’m not a doctor so I cannot give a professional opinion. I only know a bit more on the mold topic because I have been unknowingly exposed to black mold directly for years from my AC do to ignorance on my part, and have developed severe neurological issues involving insomnia, tremors, seizures, memory problems, mood swings, and the list goes on throughout my body. Fortunately even with the exposure recovery is still possible, it’s just a slow steady one that requires caution and discipline. My suggestion to you is to right down your specific symptoms in your notes and have them ready for your primary doctor. If you suffer with anxiety it’s best not to look up symptoms and self diagnose yourself on the internet, as that will only make your anxiety worse. Ask your doctor if anything of your new symptoms you may or may not be feeling is worth being tested. If you’ve gone through multiple tests where you come back healthy yet are still experiencing symptoms that concern you, try asking your doctor if the issue could be autoimmune related. (I have autoimmune issues which need to be seen by a specialist that focuses on immune system) I can still provide my own personal opinion based on my own experiences of what it may be, but I cannot diagnose you with anything and can only suggest what the issue may be or related to.
You have find a Mold Specialist so they can do a urine or blood test to find any toxic mold in your body and the price cost is about $400 to $1500 hope this was helpful
Hey how you doing? Hopefully you’re still kicking and got some help. Look into vegetables like kale, garlic, and onions. Remove the source of mold. Get tested and seek a specialist. Depending on genetics and exposure you might have the mold colonized in you and need anti fungal meds. Take those medications under supervision of a licensed professional, and DO NOT take if you are still being exposed to the mold. You’ll run the risk of making the infection resistant to the meds, and with the limited medication you’ll never be able to get rid of it. You’ll be stuck with it, so be VERY CAREFUL. Antibiotics don’t work on fungal infections. Be safe

You do realize this doctor of this video is technically an entrepreneur right? Our system is a profit based system and what she proposes insurance will not cover. Maybe the drugs and a few labs but you will pay out of pocket to see her and even then will have to pay for supplements and whatnot.
Little late, but yes it can be. Tremors as well, and if left untreated can even cause seizures. It’s due to the inflammation of the brain, so things that are anti inflammatory that can cross the blood brain barrier will help. Take anti histamines to help with symptoms too. These will help very little or might not help at all if you are still being exposed to the mold. If it’s your room, sleep in the living room. If the mold is eliminated thoroughly but you are still having symptoms, then you may have mold colonized inside of you in which case you do need anti fungal meds. DONT TAKE THOSE MEDS IF YOU HAVENT GOTTEN RID IF THE SOURCE OF MOLD OUTSIDE YOUR BODY FIRST! That’s a big risk and you could end up making the infection inside of you resistant, and you’ll be stuck with it forever
Also be aware that the citric acid used in most of our food & products, is produced from GM black mould, and not from natural fruit as I always believed it to be.🕊️

Dealing with the same thing.
I'm better this MD gave me a script for "Ny Staten" which is a liquid I put in my mouth every four hours. He told me to leave it in my mouth as long as I can. It's helped no more cough, the infection I'm dealing with still is my upper gums and my eyes still itch.
That is so kind. Lab's are not usually so helpful to Patients. I'm definitely going to reach out.
I have almost every symptom!
I’ve been hallucinating from black mold poisoning for five date when will this ducking end
“Break the Mold” by Dr. Jill Crista is definitely worth reading. Tons of great info on this. Sorry I read it for the building / structure aspects rather than the personal health ones so can’t tell you much other than it has chapters and chapters on dealing with mold symptoms. What to eat what not to, what vitamins to take etc etc.
How do you go about recovering? I believe I may currently be dealing with this as I have a whole host of seemingly unrelated symptoms that are severe and I have recently discovered a large collection of mold in my vents
A whole host of seemingly unrelated symptoms would definitely fit into mold toxicity. Get tested and start working on getting the mold out of your spaces and/or leaving your spaces and begin the long journey of clearing it out of your body and recovering. I have just begun researching and there are several people on TH-cam who are achieving some success so I guess start there? Tell me what you find!
probably underlying causes primarily diet based. candida infection of the body makes you extremely sensitive to mold.

Mold and mycotoxins are a different ballgame.
Mycotoxins, and neurotoxins. Neurotoxins very bad, permanent damage, neuropathy, cognitive, balance, bladder, bowels. Typical in newly renovated apartments, with Chinese components. They did permanent damage to me first hand.

Yes get tested and try Microb Formulas
Do all blood test work for diagnosis? or is there a specific test??
Did you ever figure out an effective way to determine?

Did you have a mold problem? I have tingling in my back too. With brain fog and derealization.

Mold enters the body by inhalation, skin & eyes.
When you touch or move black mold, it turns into tiny microscopic Mycotoxins that can stick to your walls, ceiling, floors, furniture, clothes and the more pourus the item (books 😢 fill up with Mycotoxins)
It made me throw up, can't regulate my body temperature, my bad knee is so painful and worse after the Mycotoxins- most likely surgery- icky.
My skin is so dry too.
I actually got out but limped through a cosmetic shop and I guess the PERFUMES were affecting me I looked down at my arms, they had turned white and flaky, then I left and the dry flakes left too.

Good to know what the effects are this was helpful to me and if anyone going through this type of living situation ,

I need to reach out, I seriously need help
Be safe

Hi I do have a question for you if you are exposed to different types of mold okay I don't know if there's any way for you to call me back like it's kind of long and I have plates with growth on them I've been dealing with this for 2 years last year I thought it was over with but this year and my new apartment as soon as the sewers train backed up in my apartment three times and they're doing all this construction in here too all the dust and stuff flying around or whatever else is flying around gets on my skin and in my private area. They look like either little black dots or like a little short piece of black thread some of them are brown balls too I don't know what this is it's driving me crazy the only one that it is affecting is me in the home nobody else anywhere else don't know what they've ever had this issue at this apartment complex before I don't know I know I have called everybody I know to try to get testing in here and I ended up being able to do it myself I used to work in microbiology as a lab assistant so I didn't know too many organisms but I'm really curious to know what all it is on these plates they said that it was look like normal house mold but it doesn't look like that to me and we find these little black desperately seeking help I've been to seven different doctors and been misdiagnosed it's very frustrating and depressing I believe it even affected my thyroid because I am hypothyroid and ever since 2004 when I was diagnosed I've never had to change my medicine until now
The LORD is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works. The LORD is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth. He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them. The LORD preserveth all them that love him: but all the wicked will he destroy. (Psalms 145:17-20)
And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: (Acts 17:30)
I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. (Luke 13:5)
What cells does mycotoxins effect?
Im not a doctor but I dont think it affects cells in particular. Its in the bloodstream, which is why there are blood tests to check for mold :)

You do realize this doctor of this video is technically an entrepreneur right?
Our system is a profit based system and what she proposes insurance will not cover.
Maybe the drugs and a few labs but you will pay out of pocket to see her and even then will have to pay for supplements and whatnot.
Wow,had no idea
So insomnia is not a sign?
