I love how the dialogue has evolved to become more mature for the audience yet completely stays true to the original spirit. This is what todays games need. Please keep this up.
I've never played any Star Fox games but I respect the people who love it and I can see why. I get the franchise was aimed at a slightly young audience at the time but evolving this into more mature territory but still keeping the spirit as you said @Noble Gamer, is amazing! Maybe one day I should try out a Star Fox game, see what I've been missing out on! :P
This is beyond impressive. The ground vehicle physics in FS2 Engine, the dialogues, the new characters and their designs, the music... everything is on point. And that boss fight... wow, that was something else

Really love how this game is coming along. I really like how the Titania mission has been expanded from the original. Especially the new Scrap Jackal villains. For some reason, I sort of imagine their voices having a cockney British accent or ones similar to the voices of the Haxion Brood soldiers from Jedi: Fallen Order, but that’s probably because the setting and the enemies remind me of Mad Max.
Really appreciate hear Kristal voice at the beginning, and this missions looks pretty fun, also the final boss look to me like a gigant stalfos of zelda
Bill was talking like Maverick would. That "Not hard to do when you're as short as you are, sir!" was brilliant. If this was Ace Combat 7, we'd get a joke with Bill being thrown in the solitary right after that XD About gameplay, I've noticed that most rings and ammo float way higher than the Landmaster. Do you plan to add the hover feature later on or is it easier to just make the items fall until they're at the Landmaster's height? I'm askin beacuse those Scrap Bugs and Goras look like they're going to be a pain in any difficulty.
Ah man I love how you got the sound from the Providence in Star Wars Episode III for the reload sound of the Landmaster's Heavy Artillery, always loved that sound

This was breathtaking! I love the change ups to the health and combat systems, and the way everyone interacts! You added so much depth, and really made the game your own. I haven't played it yet, but it looks promising, and I hope to play soon!
Kudos to you, Nephalim. I must admit, the extended presence of Fara compared to Krystal had me worried; but the fact that you've asked the latter's original VA to be part of the project has me hoping you've noticed that she's indeed popular with the fanbase. Being able to choose between one or the other would be an excellent way to please both shipping crowds, if you can pull it off. As for the gameplay and story elements you've shown here, that's incredible stuff. The world-building you've done with the Scrap Jackals and the colonel from that one comic does an excellent job of not only expanding upon other factions in the war, but also set up the reveal for later on, where we find out that the colonel's up to no good. That's the kind of writing to need to see more of!

Another great level. I always wondered what that spire was on the Titania multiplayer map. With how many Star Fox pilots crash there, I wonder if the planet is cursed? Are there more Krazoa shenanigans afoot here? Or is something else going on?
"Sorry, the Landmaster ain't scap" and the jackal's response to that are gold. This planet is looking clean! (or...dirty?) Either way, it looks amazing! I always hated Titania's mission in 64, but this makes me want to play it!
It’s amazing how you guys managed to bring in the Landmaster. Ground combat is definitely needed for a Star Fox game every once in a while. But I’m guessing it can’t hover yet. Hopefully, we get to see that in the future.

Extremely wonderfully amazing!!, I Once more amazing work, and not only that, amazing Touch with Krystal's Voice, by Estelle Ellis, and this map, extremely well designed, and i recall how Star Fox 64 operates, the many paths, Also What, i don't know if i would think of Fara and Fox are a couple, but that is a silly moment none the less. though intense battling and Boss Fight, and you won none the less, The wait is so worth seeing these, keep doing a super wonderful job. and to you to Estelle Ellis. And to all those helping to make this Game possible.
I love seeing this! My only real complaint is that it's hard to track the HUD text while everything else is going on. Maybe a dark-transparent background, to make the text more visible?
There is actually a new button in FSO (the game engine that Event Horizon uses) that lets players toggle a drop shadow for the HUD for this very reason :)

I'm a bit curious about what the andross fight will look like? Considering his rewritten backstory, is he still gonna end up turning himself into a floating head and brain or is he gonna create the robotic polygon head and he'll pilot it from the inside?
I like to think Andross' research into biomechanical technology was jumpstarted by the alien artifacts he found on Titania. In the Nintendo Power game manual for Star Fox 64, I believe Bolse and many other Androssian machines were powered by biomechanical cores.
I also like to imagine that Andross may have also taken inspiration from the Aparoids, what with them using wormholes and them being bio-mechanical in nature. But this is just my speculation as to how Andross became so well-versed in bioweapons research.
Great, as always, but I have a problem with Grey being a Captain. In SF64, and I assume here, too, he is in command of 2 of Corneria's best squadrons. I would recommend giving him also the rank of Colonel. Edit: or at least Major.
Man can you imagine how fucking disorienting it would be doing rolls in a tank? Doing rolls in the air is one thing but doing it on the ground in a several ton war machine seems worse!

And that got wondering what Titania was like before it became the home to the scrap jackals. Was it like earth???? Green & Blue with it's own dinosaurs???? What could have happened to make the scrap filled desert of The Lylat System???? Oh, and I've been meaning to ask; Is Scrap Harvester a female or is it just Oda who is the only female jackal???? Asking for future voice actors.

I’m sorry, but remaking 64 -Assault is just pointless, considering how their story has already been told. Also, getting Estelle Ellis to voice Krystal in the game doesn’t change anything. And why does this feel like more of a Star Wars game instead of a Star Fox game?

@@kidferocious Every franchise borrows from eachother in some capacity(I'll even admit, a lot of worldbuilding I've been doing for my own universe takes a lot of inspiration from the original Mass Effect Trilogy) - From Dune to Star Wars & from Star Strek to Halo, you'll find various similarities & subtle or not-so-subtle design choices that were clearly taken from eachother. However, that doesn't mean those franchises are in any way bad lol
Nice to see the UI looking a lot cleaner but still too much on the screen at the same time you can't even see the tank cause you have kept the dialogue part massive!!!! why is the objective sitting there static all the time?????? the dialogue at the top left is pointless can't even read it!!!! should just turn this into and RPG mod for what it is worth and you select what buttons to press for battle it's so heavy on unnecessary dialogue it ruins the experience!
