As a little heart rending detail, you can sneak inside the house and speak with Caribert right before you follow his father to the now missing “sinner statue”. It’s only short line but he sound so innocent and childlike. “My name is Caribert. Do you live in this fairytale world as well?” Just a little kid being curious. And next we meet is at the cliff…
At this point I feel like I'm the only one not sus of Kaeya. Like yeah, he keeps a lot of secrets from us but I truly don't think it's with evil intention. I genuinely trust that he cares far more about Mondstadt, or at the very least his connections in Mondstadt, that he would never side with the Abyss/Khaenri'ah. Edit: I'm so happy to see a lot more people that believe in Kaeya, I hadn't expected to get so many likes.

I'm not sure if that's real or I'm theorizing too much, but Kaeya's eye is different from eyes of Dain and "Eide". His pupils are black inside, while theirs are the same color the rest of eye is. What if Kaeya is not pure-blood and eyes are different for pure-blood and not? And it was statement not "because you look human" but "because your eyes are significant"
Who else feels that something huge is going to happen in the Genshin story now? Since Sumeru is the halfway over the teyvat chapter, the climax is likely about to start soon. This quest feels like it's was a prologue for the main part.

I'm a Kaeya simp, and I will always trust that man. Even if he's dishonest or will eventually "betray" us, I am of the firm belief that he acts towards the benefit of Mondstadt and those he cares about. In comparison to Traveler, Dainsleif or the Archons, Kaeya is just a little kid who was given too many secrets with almost no guidance on what to do with them (if what is stated in his character story is true). Given how dangerous some knowledge can be (wrath from Celestia or forbidden knowledge), sharing certain information that could explain his 'sus-ness' may not be an option for him. So, he has to carry the weight of those secrets despite countless scrutiny from others, which is a heavy burden for one human to bear. No wonder there are numerous references to his loneliness (as least in misc. CN sources).

Parallels with the Traveler, how they are forced to carry the forbidden knowledge of Greater Lord Rukkhadevata. And never be able to reveal that information to anyone without there being great consequence in doing so. Plus, the fact that their sibling is Prince/Princess of the Abyss Order. And the possibility that the abyss twin isn't actually their original twin. I think Kaeya is likely aware who their sibling really is, but never used that to blackmail the Traveler.
I just did the quest yesterday cuz of primos grind, and I just noticed a foreshodow that Clothar said when we're making the 2nd dose of medicine. He dozes off and tells us that he wants to rest in the field and never wake up again. Kinda creepy tbh 49:25

Mondstadt and its people are most suspicious right now. They are everywhere, and they have a huge impact and influence on Teyvat history. Their Archon relationship with the god of time, the spiral abyss, people of the peak vandignir, their involvement behind Inazuma rebellion, the bloodstain knight, the hexenzerkel, signora, and many more. Now in Sumeru, it's Caribert. And don't forget the only people we know so far who have ascended to Cellestia is from Mondstadt.

But our poor nahida has been trapped in the academiya since the academiya scholar throw her for nothing even though is her birthday🎉😢, she has very less power and she can't grant ppl wished, so Eide was fuming😭 Ever since caribert took off his mask bc he cannot do anyt as he was transformed into the hilichurls because in khaenri'ah, they suffered so many injuries and diseases so they got transformed into abyss mages, hilichurls and abyss lector/heralds
Your conclusion at the end mirrors what I just felt after finishing the quest (didn't feel like doing it until now, after I've finished all world quests up to that of 3.7 and exploring all of the new maps). But, considering that there are likely 4 more Acts in the archon quests plus an epilogue, so four more years from now, information will come so sparce that by the end we won't even get the whole story together anymore. If we'll even be playing the game that long in the future anymore.

This archon quest has alot of lore dropping Like Eide used his faked name to trick the traveler, his real real name is Chlothar Alberich Ms. Dish's favourite character is Kaeya, and his full name is Kaeya Alberich I believe the Alberich family is the decesdents and the founder of the abyss order in khaenri'ah, resulting Kaeya is in sumeru along with dainsleif, since both of them came from khaenri'ah like 500 years ago since the khaenri'ah catalysm
Since Chlothar know the traveler many many decades ago when the traveler wanted to go back into their own world but their journey ends there when the heavenly principles of the sustainably god, Unknown God, locked one of the siblings into khaenri'ah. The ending part where the skeleton was buried long long time ago where dain and traveler found out the male and the female skeleton, it appears Chlothar Alberich and his wife 500 years ago
Kaeya is such a great character, I hope we get more and more of his involvement as the story progresses. His origin and past are one of the darkest ones. And while I do believe he deeply cares for some of the people of Monstadt, I do also think he cares for Khanriah . Either way, one thing is for sure he knows more than he lets on...I d honestly not be suprised if he smh knew about the "Sinner"....especially since the "Sinner" so far showed himself 2 times, and both times, Kaeya wasnt far away (Monstadt and now Sumeru).

Ok everyone present day in game is saying our sibling is the prince(ss) because we joined the abyss order and became the successor to it, but Chlothar calls us the prince(ss) before he has even founded the abyss order. Unless the abyss order existed before caribert died? or whatever happened. And he spoke like our sibling was well known in khaenriah
He specifically says Prince(ss) of Khaenri'ah, not Abyss Order. Travelers might had/has relation to King Irmin himself, which explains a lot of their motives.

i have a feeling that the voice is like a “devil” or a demon. i have a feeling that khaenri’ah is a symbol of the underworld and celestia is a symbol of heaven. also paimon is the name of a demon and paimons outfit heavily relates to khaenri’ah and the abyss. perhaps paimon is working with the devil of the abyss
and the demon paimon is shown to be riding on a camel, similar to the beings in the sumeru desert. which would make sense since khaenri’ah is under sumeru
but i also feel like paimon has no intention to betray us or doesn’t remember what happened before we met. perhaps the abyss gave her an order but is holding back her memories so we’re less sus of her
Yes. I Made so many silly squeee noices while playing this 😅 (I had dreamed of getting to have both Kaeya and Dain together with us for the quest. So slight disappointment there, but the quest was very good. And meeting Kaeya in the beginning such a treat 😊

Paimon getting more fleshed out as a character is something I never thought I needed. Over the course of 3.0 to now I've definitely started to see her as more of a character and companion than the game's mascot.
Okay, so I have a theory. Kaeya is not pure-blooded Khaen'riahn. We've met many people from Khaen'riah (Dainsleif, Eide/Chlothar, Halfdan) and all of them have lighter skin tones. Kaeya isn't. Why? *Because he's not fully Khaen'riahn.* Here's the thing, there aren't many tanned people in other nations, aside from Mondstadt and that's Kaeya of course. But there's one nation where there are many tan people... *Sumeru.* From this quest, we know that Caribert wasn't pure-blooded either, his father confirmed that. However, Chlothar was the founder of the abyss order, right? Well, at the end of the quest, Caribert was called 'The Loom of Fate.' Which means he was able to rewrite his own fate. *He was able to live a normal life as a child* Then he grew up, met someone, and the bloodline continued. Then Kaeya was born... He isn't pure-blooded Khaen'riahn because there aren't many Khaen'riahns left. Caribert rewove his fate and became human again, and continued the Alberich bloodline with others from perhaps other nations aside from Sumeru. This is all just a theory, though. Im still confused abt how many Kaehnrians there are! 1. Cursed ppl who became Hilichurls 2. Cursed full blooded Kaehnariahns who are immortal (Dain, Pierro, Clothar) but all do different things. 3. The Abyss under the Prince or Princess. They want to fight God and restore the homeland or whatever. Also whats up w the Heralds, Lectors etc? Are they full blooded Kaehnriahns in Armour? They are aware unlike the Hilichurls. And they are more conscious than the Black Serpent knights. 4. The Black Serpent Knights. They seem somewhere between hilichurls and Abysslings So are they also immortal? Bc Halfdan did die! Does that mean the device in the chasm did actually break the curse so they can die? 5. Kaeya. Hes not immortal bc we know he grew up alongside Diluc, so he aged unlike Dain. Or its a Renesmee situation where he only aged so far?? But that seems unlikely. He is an Alberich, so descendant from Clothar, which means Clothar probably had other kids other than Caribert. Also hes not a full blooded Kaehnriahn which tells us that whoever that alberich was they had Kaeya with someone whos not Kaehnriahn. So maybe his other parent is just a normal person. Or even his father. 6. Pierro seems completely disjointed from other Kaehnriahns. Hes not aligned with the Abyss but with the Tsaritsa one of the seven archons. And the way he speaks about her in the Winter Nights Lazzo trailer he seems to actually wordhip her or at least respect her. Tl;dr I am still confused about all the Kaehnriahns Mihoyo give me more content! 😂

Your conclusion at the end mirrors what I just felt after finishing the quest (didn't feel like doing it until now, after I've finished all world quests up to that of 3.7 and exploring all of the new maps).
But, considering that there are likely 4 more Acts in the archon quests plus an epilogue, so four more years from now, information will come so sparce that by the end we won't even get the whole story together anymore. If we'll even be playing the game that long in the future anymore.

This archon quest has alot of lore dropping
Like Eide used his faked name to trick the traveler, his real real name is Chlothar Alberich
Ms. Dish's favourite character is Kaeya, and his full name is Kaeya Alberich
I believe the Alberich family is the decesdents and the founder of the abyss order in khaenri'ah, resulting Kaeya is in sumeru along with dainsleif, since both of them came from khaenri'ah like 500 years ago since the khaenri'ah catalysm
Since Chlothar know the traveler many many decades ago when the traveler wanted to go back into their own world but their journey ends there when the heavenly principles of the sustainably god, Unknown God, locked one of the siblings into khaenri'ah.
The ending part where the skeleton was buried long long time ago where dain and traveler found out the male and the female skeleton, it appears Chlothar Alberich and his wife 500 years ago
Kaeya is such a great character, I hope we get more and more of his involvement as the story progresses. His origin and past are one of the darkest ones. And while I do believe he deeply cares for some of the people of Monstadt, I do also think he cares for Khanriah . Either way, one thing is for sure he knows more than he lets on...I d honestly not be suprised if he smh knew about the "Sinner"....especially since the "Sinner" so far showed himself 2 times, and both times, Kaeya wasnt far away (Monstadt and now Sumeru).

Ok everyone present day in game is saying our sibling is the prince(ss) because we joined the abyss order and became the successor to it, but Chlothar calls us the prince(ss) before he has even founded the abyss order. Unless the abyss order existed before caribert died? or whatever happened. And he spoke like our sibling was well known in khaenriah
He specifically says Prince(ss) of Khaenri'ah, not Abyss Order.
Travelers might had/has relation to King Irmin himself, which explains a lot of their motives.

i have a feeling that the voice is like a “devil” or a demon. i have a feeling that khaenri’ah is a symbol of the underworld and celestia is a symbol of heaven. also paimon is the name of a demon and paimons outfit heavily relates to khaenri’ah and the abyss. perhaps paimon is working with the devil of the abyss
and the demon paimon is shown to be riding on a camel, similar to the beings in the sumeru desert. which would make sense since khaenri’ah is under sumeru
but i also feel like paimon has no intention to betray us or doesn’t remember what happened before we met. perhaps the abyss gave her an order but is holding back her memories so we’re less sus of her

Paimon getting more fleshed out as a character is something I never thought I needed. Over the course of 3.0 to now I've definitely started to see her as more of a character and companion than the game's mascot.

Okay, so I have a theory.
Kaeya is not pure-blooded Khaen'riahn. We've met many people from Khaen'riah (Dainsleif, Eide/Chlothar, Halfdan) and all of them have lighter skin tones. Kaeya isn't. Why? *Because he's not fully Khaen'riahn.*
Here's the thing, there aren't many tanned people in other nations, aside from Mondstadt and that's Kaeya of course. But there's one nation where there are many tan people... *Sumeru.*
From this quest, we know that Caribert wasn't pure-blooded either, his father confirmed that. However, Chlothar was the founder of the abyss order, right? Well, at the end of the quest, Caribert was called 'The Loom of Fate.' Which means he was able to rewrite his own fate. *He was able to live a normal life as a child* Then he grew up, met someone, and the bloodline continued. Then Kaeya was born...
He isn't pure-blooded Khaen'riahn because there aren't many Khaen'riahns left. Caribert rewove his fate and became human again, and continued the Alberich bloodline with others from perhaps other nations aside from Sumeru.

Im still confused abt how many Kaehnrians there are!
1. Cursed ppl who became Hilichurls
2. Cursed full blooded Kaehnariahns who are immortal (Dain, Pierro, Clothar) but all do different things.
3. The Abyss under the Prince or Princess. They want to fight God and restore the homeland or whatever.
Also whats up w the Heralds, Lectors etc? Are they full blooded Kaehnriahns in Armour? They are aware unlike the Hilichurls. And they are more conscious than the Black Serpent knights.
4. The Black Serpent Knights. They seem somewhere between hilichurls and Abysslings
So are they also immortal? Bc Halfdan did die! Does that mean the device in the chasm did actually break the curse so they can die?
5. Kaeya. Hes not immortal bc we know he grew up alongside Diluc, so he aged unlike Dain. Or its a Renesmee situation where he only aged so far?? But that seems unlikely.
He is an Alberich, so descendant from Clothar, which means Clothar probably had other kids other than Caribert.
Also hes not a full blooded Kaehnriahn which tells us that whoever that alberich was they had Kaeya with someone whos not Kaehnriahn. So maybe his other parent is just a normal person.
Or even his father.
6. Pierro seems completely disjointed from other Kaehnriahns. Hes not aligned with the Abyss but with the Tsaritsa one of the seven archons. And the way he speaks about her in the Winter Nights Lazzo trailer he seems to actually wordhip her or at least respect her.
Tl;dr I am still confused about all the Kaehnriahns Mihoyo give me more content! 😂
