For someone who always 100%s everything (also sitting at 1155 ingame achievements right now, only missing 30 i believe) its crazy to me to see so many content creators on youtube having so little % exploration in these regions :D and then your Tsurumi Island exploration, lol - that was one of my most hated placed in the game. Edit: oh wow, you saying at the end that you wanna go for achievements next is actually a reason for me to stick around for now. That interests me a lot, seeing how far you will go.
blows my mind too. all 100 as of recently for me, too. but no way im finding every chest or getting anywhere near your achievements. impressive. done 900ish.

Literally me. I've been trying to 100% everything but I just stop after 0.000001 seconds. The fastest I've ever done exploration is Chenyu Vale trying to get primogems for Gaming
Did he not realize all this time that there is % indicator at the bottom right corner when he opens the map. It shows the exploration progress of the region you are currently in.
This was really relaxing to watch, as someone who already have 100% exploration on everything, this makes me want to re-explore on a different account. Exploring is very therapeutic for me 😭
I'd recommend simply purchasing a better exploration game. As someone who has 100% it myself as well (even the chenyu vales), I can confidently say that genshin has some of the worst deigned exploration in any big franchise of open world games I've ever seen. Try out BOTW, or TOTK, or RDR2. I promise you, you will have a much better experience exploring those worlds than any region of genshin.
I started my fall into the 100% insanity around the release of Ianzuma. I remember backtracking and finishing up the high percentage regions being really hard. Especially Starfell, Liyue and Ekanomiya. Currently I have over 1140 achievements fully explored map. It really only gets easier once you know what you’re looking for. Glad to see another healthy young man fall into insanity.
Inazuma's exploration was my most favorite one. I do think that a lot puzzles in genshin are too easy, so Inazuma was a lot of fun without too much Y axis levels.
i felt like a lot of inazuma’s puzzles were tedious and repetitive, plus inazuma is just an unfun place to be in. the atmosphere is so negative compared to places like mondstadt or fontaine. sumeru was my personal favorite with the early underground desert exploration being one of the most fun times i’ve had playing genshin.
i agree with you. but it cant be helped cause a lot of the players' main aim for exploring is collecting primogems. if they get inconvenienced for even just a bit and get just 5 primos for it, they will complain. im part of the players who actually enjoy exploring for how it is, solving puzzles (feeling accomplished when i solve it myself), and just thinking of the primos as an added bonus to the fun. inazuma's puzzles were the hardest in the game, but the most fulfilling. they dumbed it down a lot in sumeru and onwards - it's still fun, but solving the puzzles doesn't really feel as satisfying as before. the mechanisms were more like: find this, find that, place this here, instead of finding a pattern to solve. then again, most of the players have their priorities leaning towards earning primos so... yeah.
I put this on in the background while exploring the new Liyue’s region. It also motivated me to finish all the other regions as well… plus the Aranara quest…. Anyways, we lost our minds together!
Dragonspine was my favourite to explore🥺 The lore behind it, the music, the landscapes and the satisfaction that comes from completing a particularly stumping puzzle. The deserts of Sumeru, too
You know this video got me thinking: I like old exploration more than new exploration. The exploration nowadays feels too gimmicky. I preferred when it was just kill enemies, activate some elemental monuments, do a time trial, and I especially liked the Nine Pillars of Peace in Cuijue Slope. Where we had this menacing door that we wondered what was behind for ages. We only got to finally see what was behind it after putting in the work to collect all of the oculi. That feeling of anticipation and then the reveal was so awesome. But Dragonspine has to be my favorite region in terms of exploration. That's more because of the difficulty of the area itself, with sheer cold and considerable level increase of enemies compared to the surrounding areas. But the chest opening itself is pretty fun too. I will say one thing about new exploration that I really like: Withering Zones. Those things are so cool and I wish there were more of them. I love how they make the environment gloomy. And then when you complete it, all of that gloom goes away. You really feel like you are making a difference by doing them. I'm quite sad there were only a few in the desert.
Old exploration was great but too many players complained so they made future regions easy enough for a baby to play. The new mechanics that let you fly around is fun but it also makes exploration so easy.
Dragonspine is my favourite area too ^u^ I dunno why the guy in the video complained about chests being locked behind quests... that just makes the region more interesting!! it has the best music and best mechanics. It really feels like a cold lonely mountain even if it is right next to cozy mondstadt
@@Borat69ableimo I feel like old regions just didn't really have puzzles? like mondstadt had NONE. liyue had a few maybe and then inazuma had a shit ton and so does sumeru and Fontaine. I haven't explored all of liyue yet so I could be wrong ig
recently, i've been using interactive map whenever i do exploring. it makes finding every claimable items easy and it is the most efficient way if you are planning to 100% every region. it is also really convenient if you do speedrun for primos.
@@jacobsevilla2073 the interactive map in on the official website , everything you need for exploration in on it. the idea is that in the map, there is a pin for each chest, puzzle , seale, etc. the pins is submitted by the fandom so they try to make it easy for our brains. once you claim this chest in your world, you can hide the pin on the map so that you don't come back to it later. I hope this is helpful and sorry for my English.
this is absolutely crazy. major props to you. i am someone who Enjoys exploration and it’s usually a relaxation thing for me and not a chore really but you can feel the strain and stress as this video progressed for you. glad it’s over and done with and u have that clean map lol.
@@andyluan7183 i mean... it still takes me time to 100% maps cause i prefer doing them slowly and enjoying so i never thought he could complete it in just less than 60hrs. plus the last time i remember *speedrunning* a map it took me at least 2 days (weekend) to complete one
@@Anokosciant He had a lot done already especially inazuma, even mondstadt alone only takes like 3 hours (he did that one surprisingly slow given he almost already cleared 2/4 regions) If you have completed all pre-requisite quests for reaching some blocked/hidden locations you can 0 to 100 % the game in probably under 2 weeks (real time) if you really no life it´, maybe 1 week with minimal sleep
@@Anokosciant bro if you're efficient with it, it goes by really fast i was starting on a new account and what you do i finish the mission for the region -> open all tps -> do all quests -> and then start picking up everysingle thing from the interactive map boom 100%
I can't imagine having to use only the treasure compass to collect all of the missing chests. When I started going for 100% in areas, I used video guides to find the remaining chests in Mondstadt and Liyue. Then for Inazuma and onward I marked every chest I collected on the interactive map (not the Hoyoverse one, but the actual good one) so that when I wanted to go and get 100%, I had already marked everything that I came across naturally, making it a lot easier to collect the rest. Your dedication is unmatched, using just the compass. Respect. Edit* wait I see you did use the interactive map for some things. But my point still stands. Your dedication is unmatched. Especially all at once. Respect.
@@on3zt2ey9c Hoyoverse’s interactive map is just inferior in every way to the unofficial one. My biggest complaint though is that it’s not smooth. It feels very choppy when using it and it takes a while to load areas sometimes.
@@Melotaku They actually fixed most of the performance issues a while back. The official one also has an indicator of wheter or not something is underground on the Pin itself, so you don't have to click on the Pin to find out, additionally when you actually click into a layer it shows all of the things that can be found within that layer, which makes 100%-ing layered regions so much better.
Don't tell him 100% on the map does not equate to finding everything, as there are usually extra 15-20% in chests, mora crates and other one time stuff
This video popped up in my recommended (I haven’t finished it yet) and honestly 100% is probably my favorite thing to do in this game. Being a completionist myself I find that it gives me something new to appreciate about the game. Solving every little puzzle and seeing those numbers slowly go up is always rewarding in itself. ❤
Videos like these give me motivation to continue. Currently I am going through Mondstadt to get EVERYTHING (I hate how Genshin rounds your progress)! Hopefully in a few months time I'll be completely caught up with Mondstadt, Liyue, and Inazuma so that way I can start Sumeru (that's when I found out about the OFFICIAL interactive map - before I had been using a knockoff). And when I mean "everything" I mean literally. everything. Like for example so far; while going through bloaty floatys in Mondstadt, I found three I hadn't done, but I did all the harvest puzzles before checking the pins. So I went back & did the three bloaty floatys and now I have every single bloaty floaty puzzle done in Mondstadt. By everything I also mean max lvl rep, completing ALL world quests, all achievements (including regional commission achievements), all items from the sigil shops/bookstores/restaurants/fishing association, etc. You get the idea
Same here! Even though it takes a while, it's so satisfying when you complete everything. I've learned to be patient with the commission achievements because in time they will come to you (even though I still hate them lol). Finally got the one I was missing from Liyue just last week! Good luck to you :)
I started the game for the first time 5 months ago. Currently sitting at AR57 and I have 100%ed everything there is. I'm sitting at 1137 achievements. Only ones I'm missing are commission related and time gated ones like the trapot plants. Was insane fun! And definitely my favorite part of Genshin.
Wow, this was one of the only times I've found myself watching an over hour long video completely through. The whole process was entertaining and engaging. Definitely considering to explore more in my world now.
I've always said, if there's content to be consumed in a game, then you better believe I'm gonna consume ALL of it. Currently at 100% whole world (and missing like 60ish chests that I'm working on), around 1130 Achievements, and literally anything else you can imagine, like being proficient in all recipes and getting all characters to max friendship. Glad to see someone else join in on the insanity :)
Grass is a type of plant with narrow leaves growing from the base. Their appearance as a common plant was in the mid-Cretaceous period. There are 12,000 species now. A common kind of grass is used to cover the ground in places such as lawns and parks. Grass is usually the color green. That is because they are wind-pollinated rather than insect-pollinated, so they do not have to attract insects. Green is the best colour for photosynthesis.
I’m currently 100% everywhere except sumeru, enka, and the above ground chasm. I 100%ed chenyu vale in a day or so and it was super fun, similar to how fontaine was for me. I agreed a lot with your takes, especially with the huge issues with enka
@@beeb2761Walk on mountains, follow seelie, remember to find digging spots and carry warm bottles with you. You have to recheck every crook and cranny.
The “Lower” region is above the “Upper” region because it’s based on Lower and Upper Egypt, named such for Upper Egypt being higher geographical. It’s called “Upper” solely because it’s taller
For me exploring is my favorite aspect of the game, which is why i have multiple accounts with the map 100% complete. This was definitely an interesting experience to watch lmao
Yoo, I too started my 100% journey like 8 days ago. Progress coming along well, officially done with Mondstadt! Please wish me luck with the rest as I'll clearly need it-
I'm a completionist myself and this was so calming, soothing and relaxing to watch. Not too much editing, you hit the sweet spot. Will stick around to see how are you gonna do with the achievements
You gave motivation to do the same. I recently came back to Genshin thanks to Arlecchino's reveal, and I am basically broke. I'm now speedrunning every region and the Fontaine main quest. Wish me luck because I want Arlecchino's weapon too x,d
just a lil tip for your future exploration's eficiency sake, at 6:54 you were wandering about being in Brightcrown Montains but if u look at the bottom right corner it shows u are actually in Windwail Highland :D
Damn that intro … so poetic, so full of emotions. We can see that the person is very self conscious about his actions, he realises the impacts of his actions on his mind and brain.
I started a fresh account for Xianyun rerolls. I'm planning to 100% the entire games exploration, main quest, side quests and any events that run from now til Arlecchino's release [assuming she does]. So far, 4 days in, Xian is slaying the world exploration. Your video has been a great background vid btw. Cheers and good clear
@@classique4678 Pulled Arlecchino's and her Scyth and quit 3 days later. Nothing will save Genshin besides a total overhaul and HoYo not being stingy. So didn't go well. Xianyun was still the funnest character I ever pulled in Genshin though, not her fault.
@@OutlawViIe Oh okay thx for replying i asked cause i also did smth like this recently a while ago, I also started a new account in asia servers (i played EU) and my ONLY goal was to roll furina before 4.8. Used 1 acc and stuck to it, rolled a 5 star on standard at AR 20+ on like my 3rd day, then on my 6th day of playing i reached AR 33 and i finally got furina. I quit the day after gettung her 😅 Hwhahah idk maybe i just like wishing or i havr a mild gambling addictuon but it was fun, grinding 6 days straight for a 5 star. I got her at 76 pity btw so it is possible for new accounts to grind 100+wishes within a week Tldr: wishing is fun n addicting
I'm so sorry for you and everyone who did this with the old treasure compass. I just finished 100%'ing everything and the new treasure compass that shows where chests are on the map was a big help.
It was early 2022 when I decided to 100% all of mondstadt, it was bombshell of nostalgia while feeling like a bit of an idiot like "damn how did I even miss this chest?" or "omg there was a puzzle?" a year later I decided to 100% Liyue, and damn.. the exact same feeling... that good nostalgia...
I've been slowly but surely completing this as well. I'd like to eventually 100% the map as well as all of the achievements, bc that's just how i am LOL I'm only missing 2 characters in this game, so I figured since I play it so much (every day), I should try to 100% as much of it as I can. It's a shame some of the older event items are lost to me, though
Its nice to see another fall into this pit. As someone who has almost everything at 100% (Chenyu Vale only has the carp collected and 4.2 fontaine has one section at 93% cause i have no keys and im hoarding all my hydroculi until i can offer em all at once), Its fun seeing people slowly realize the horrors and misery of exploration. Its also fun and a nice way to blow off a couple hours if you have free time.
Almost as bad as the constant mentioning of levels haha, this game would SUCK if it was all just one flat plane like mondstadt. It’s an open world exploration game, not your church’s Easter egg hunt haha
No matter what you say, I will always hate Sumeru for its quest block of massive areas and I love exploration but that was JUST exhausting (I didn't even try to speedrun, I was just trying to GET IT DONE, mostly what I had left like the aranaras and 4 chapters in the book... oh those pesky little goobers that I HATE so much took 5h alone, ughhh)
@@Duhgel that's your problem, you do "speedruns" the Aranaras quest was the biggest lore bomb in a region at the time it was released + the first time we saw a vision granted to someone + a revelation of something our siblin did 500 years ago + with the continuation of the quest with the Pari we discovered the origin of the cataclysm and a bit of lore about Dain too
that one dendroculus (i mean if you know you know) took me hours to get because back then we had no underground map probably both in game and in interactive map. i hated sumerian elevators for a whole year after that, why did genshin make a faruzan simulator on us it's cruel as hell
enkanomiya was pretty chill on its release to explore because there was an event that marked every chest and time trial challenge on the minimap so i don’t have bad memories of exploring it. the only annoying thing was constant switches between day and night but besides that it was easy to focus on the lore and quests were interesting. i think it could be even better if the quests were voiced so it would be easier to follow them. i think mihoyo should bring back this type of events that helps you explore especially since map became so difficult with all its layers
You would cry if you saw my 20%s all over sumeru. And Fontaine. I have Mondstadt at 100%, but liyue's at 95-97% and I cannot be bothered to get those last few percentage points. Inazuma ranges from 100% to 50% because I'm actively trying to complete it rn Your dedication scares me.
With those reviews and ratings, I think bro just hates exploring :D great video though! Also, if you look at the bottom right corner of the map, you can see the exact area you are in and the exploration percent without zooming out
Even though the grind is pain this made me want to check off the interactive map and make sure I got EVERYTHING. Not 100% the map, I mean getting every chest and interactable puzzle cause I want the materials and primos Currently doing a first pass of the map getting the Seelies and time trials (cause haveing every marker would just clutter the map)
Man. I have 100% on all regions for months now. And I 100% every region that comes out almost immediately, mostly with the help of treasure compasses. That being said at 3:41 and 3:45 these are already 2 chests in Starfell I hadn't found. Btw that area was for me the hardest one to 100% Older regions were harder to 100% due to so many random chests that the compass doesn't show, like that one where you have to climb the rock pillar and get the sunsettia, or light the fire up to spawn an exquisite chest
49:29 When you open the map in the bottom right corner of the screen it will tell you what part of the region you are in and the percentage of completion. Hope this helps with exploration in the future! :)
1:16:45 ah yes, i feel the fact that upper and lowers names are switched probably has something to do with the lore of teyvat, and the fake sky, possible flat earth/upsidedown world stuff i've seen some theory videos about. My only actual non-theory related, but fact of game related comment would be - Yeah notice that the weapon billets say Northlander for places like Inazuma (which we would perceive as South), but Midlander for Fontaine? (which is in a direction we would intemperate because of the orientation of the map as North) Interesting! I feel like their answers are tied together. --- I refused to do the desert, then they finally unveiled the layered maps and I was so happy. I 100% most everything else in the following months. But only decided to finally tackle the last bit of Enkanomiya about a week ago. I agree, it's so painful. Omg, for months apparently all I needed was only one sigil. I was so close. Thankfully my coop friend decided to help me and it was the first place he looked. So I finished really quickly. And now I'm 100% exploration on everything.
maybe this is just cause i was practically raised on zelda, but i love exploration. dragonspine, inazuma and fontaine were really relaxing. the music, the puzzles (occasionally), the lore and even just the sights. then being able to save enough freemos for new 5 star characters, i think i've gotten quite a few good characters after nearly 3 years (in april) of hard work
im an old player, (account originally made in 1.1 but i stopped playing until 2.0!) but only mondstadt and 1 part of fontaine is 100%. its so hard, because i was so clueless when i first started so i have no idea what i have and dont have, so having to go through all that and marking it down really discourages me. but you really inspired me! ill let you guys know how far i get!
the amount of times poor Kazuha had to die. x) ngl this motivated and scared me off a bit at the same time. xD as I have to 100% a ton of regions aswell - starting from Liyue - time to get the grind going ig
I actually really enjoyed exploring the desert!! at least the first parts,,, it was super chill exploring while having something on in the background! I feel a lot of ppl disliked it but i really enjoyed the types of puzzles to find there
lifehack for all of you: Rock Piles, Wooden Crates and Fontaine places of interst (basicaly every mora contain object that not respawn) are counted towards exploration percentage too. SO if you left with 97% instead of looking for last two chests, you can open buch of Rocks and get this 3% you need
Bro I started the game 2 weeks ago and got above 80% in all Mondstadt, Liyue (Chasm + underground included) and Inazuma (except Enkanomiya) I didn't imagine that some players weren't even hitting 60% everywhere
idk but I love enkanomiya and dragon spine and would prefer tons of them both instead of just one sumeru region, maybe only pari area was fun but the rest? pretty but hella inaccessible quest locked behind TONS of water in dialogue, fontaine inazuma and mondstadt really are the most comfortable for exploring while liyue and sumeru have levels problem. but as a fan of open world exploration im still loving every part of genshin, wish we though had dailies in chasm underground and enkanomiya cause music from there is stunning i wish to hear it in game for a reason rather than just come to those regions and stay there cause i cope with the fact i have no game made reason to do so. i have all my fav tracks in my apple music playlists but come on, genshin literally wastes their best places cause we never visit them again, some pretty caves in inazuma like the one under miko shrine? super pretty yet has nothing, i use to place the crystalfly catcher there so i have a reason to go there, copium once again
samee I loved exploring dragonspine and enkanomiya (just the vibes and the music *chefs kiss*) I don't understand all the hate. And don't even get me started on sumeru... exploring through it was such a slog, especially before the underground maps were released. Also the fact that exploration was blocked behind multiple world quests that were hours upon hours long. What a nightmare
It's enjoyable to watch someone exploring the game using smart editing and with a chill commentary.. I'm an obsessive 100% player, although there was one area of Fontaine where you have to fight a very annoying underwater boss for a chest and I cannot be bothered to endure that battle. However I was able to get 100% without doing that so I'm grateful that we don't have to be perfect.
I know which boss you're talking about, it's the one in the forest area with the yellow tree i think, that one is super annoying and it's required to complete a hidden quest where you need to collect a certain amount of items.
Same here. I don't like underwater combat at the best of times and that boss is such a pain. So I was pleased to find I could 100% the area and not fight it.
So... I was too on a quest to 100% every region. I haven't played for 1 year after sumeru release. When on to 100% sumeru. i was 97% on Mt Davand whatever it is called the one with the sandstorm. I kid you not it took me 1hr to get to 99% and 4 hrs + my sanity to get the last 1%.
Your voice and the whole video is so relaxing to watch. Subscribing because of that. Looking forward to more of this. I like working while watching/listening.
Man, watching you guys casually stroll about the map while I’m getting my butt handed to me by an Oceanid is so stressful, need someone to carry me fr 😂
The last time I touched the game was Sumeru's start, but I had everything 100% throughout Monstadt to Inazuma. I remember tracking an estimate of how fast I had Speedran Inazuma since it came out, and it took me about 26 hours since the release. (Yes, I am working on Sumeru currently.)
I did this once during 3.4 because i was lacking primogems and I am f2p (by choice and circumstances) had to get that c6 hu tao so my sumeru and inazuma went from 0-4% to 100% in like 2 weeks and god i was even playing on a crappy laptop (now on a somewhat decent pc? its 2011 server) so desert was freaking laggy... idk what my point is but congrats on 100%ing genshin! ^.^
Good Lord I pray for ur health lmao, as a player who started from 1.0 I wish you a good rest cuz God its such a pain just having 100% on every region consistently (I literally just 100% 3/7 of fontaines area)
Augh exploration has always been the most fun experience of Genshin 😭 I love seeing all the areas and opening the chests and solving the riddles, and yes, even doing the world quests (when I'm in the mood for them Chenyu vale, I hated that as soon as you enter you're forced to start a quest, I was not in the mood for reading, just exploring so I kinda missed the whole intro of that mission lmao), I'll be honest and admit I'm still missing exploring Fontaine and Sumeru because the exploration teams I made for them are still weak (and I hate farming and building characters lmao, I have a system but its a slow one 😔) but Chenyu vale? ITS SO FUN AND BEAUTIFUL AND THE SOUNDTRACK ❤❤❤ so relaxing
You’re allowed now to go outside and touch grass and if you look up, depending what time of the day it is, you might actually see the sun 😅 in all honesty. Good job.
I honestly partially quit genshin and still havent played after it started to feel like a chore..so its truly amusing to see that some people can do these typa stuff...

i agree with you. but it cant be helped cause a lot of the players' main aim for exploring is collecting primogems. if they get inconvenienced for even just a bit and get just 5 primos for it, they will complain. im part of the players who actually enjoy exploring for how it is, solving puzzles (feeling accomplished when i solve it myself), and just thinking of the primos as an added bonus to the fun. inazuma's puzzles were the hardest in the game, but the most fulfilling. they dumbed it down a lot in sumeru and onwards - it's still fun, but solving the puzzles doesn't really feel as satisfying as before. the mechanisms were more like: find this, find that, place this here, instead of finding a pattern to solve. then again, most of the players have their priorities leaning towards earning primos so... yeah.
the Y axis thing is so ass in sumeru. When you use your compass and it asks you to dig 10ft underground or smthing is just 💀
@@MefoWhoMannnn, f$($($($ that shit ass underground exploration

I put this on in the background while exploring the new Liyue’s region. It also motivated me to finish all the other regions as well… plus the Aranara quest…. Anyways, we lost our minds together!
Finally finished Aranara quest the other day 😂
i almost kiss my self with that quest, but i wanted to unlock the sapwood blade for my bennet.
Yeah watching exploration vids is amazing when youre exploring bc its so relatable😭
Dragonspine was my favourite to explore🥺 The lore behind it, the music, the landscapes and the satisfaction that comes from completing a particularly stumping puzzle. The deserts of Sumeru, too
Me too! I found the more challenging regions to be incredibly enjoyable ( plus the lore lover in me was eating it up lmao )
and the freezing was the most challenging part what made it my most favorite other than scenery and music.
yess i loved dragonspine
Meanwhile i hated dragonspine and completely skipped the desert bs
I actually 100% ted dragonspine without using a single teleporter within the dragonspine region. Best choice ever
@@Borat69ablehuh?? new mechanics and puzzles are so hard i actually give up on some of them sometimes 😭
Dragonspine is my favourite area too ^u^
I dunno why the guy in the video complained about chests being locked behind quests... that just makes the region more interesting!!
it has the best music and best mechanics.
@@colecube8251 Mondstadt and Liyue do have puzzles but they are few and far between and are very easy and quick to complete.
recently, i've been using interactive map whenever i do exploring. it makes finding every claimable items easy and it is the most efficient way if you are planning to 100% every region. it is also really convenient if you do speedrun for primos.
I wondered if there was a tool to use for this. Thanks for confirming.
yeah, it’s insanity not to use it and backtrack everything. i have no idea how i was living without it.

@@seagl4ss hi sorry can you explain how specifically you use interactive map for exploring?
@@jacobsevilla2073 the interactive map in on the official website , everything you need for exploration in on it. the idea is that in the map, there is a pin for each chest, puzzle , seale, etc. the pins is submitted by the fandom so they try to make it easy for our brains. once you claim this chest in your world, you can hide the pin on the map so that you don't come back to it later.
Respect.

what's wrong with the hoyoverse map?
@@on3zt2ey9c Hoyoverse’s interactive map is just inferior in every way to the unofficial one. My biggest complaint though is that it’s not smooth. It feels very choppy when using it and it takes a while to load areas sometimes.

The "knockoff" map IS the official one. Its far better than the one by shitoverse itself.
bloaty floatys??? anemo slimes?
@@piccotaro Yes! The anemo slime puzzles are called bloaty floatys on the website.
This is pure insanity hope you well wishes for your mental health ❤

Oh okay thx for replying i asked cause i also did smth like this recently
a while ago, I also started a new account in asia servers (i played EU) and my ONLY goal was to roll furina before 4.8.
Used 1 acc and stuck to it, rolled a 5 star on standard at AR 20+ on like my 3rd day, then on my 6th day of playing i reached AR 33 and i finally got furina.
I quit the day after gettung her 😅
Hwhahah idk maybe i just like wishing or i havr a mild gambling addictuon but it was fun, grinding 6 days straight for a 5 star. I got her at 76 pity btw so it is possible for new accounts to grind 100+wishes within a week
Tldr: wishing is fun n addicting
I'm so sorry for you and everyone who did this with the old treasure compass. I just finished 100%'ing everything and the new treasure compass that shows where chests are on the map was a big help.
I am glad i ran into your vid, I personally enjoyed exploring fontaine the most.
I'd like to eventually 100% the map as well as all of the achievements, bc that's just how i am LOL
I'm only missing 2 characters in this game, so I figured since I play it so much (every day), I should try to 100% as much of it as I can.
Its also fun and a nice way to blow off a couple hours if you have free time.
dude is really complaining that an exploration rpg requires you to explore and do quests to unlock places and chests
Fr😂 iTS SO PAINFUL TO WATCH
Almost as bad as the constant mentioning of levels haha, this game would SUCK if it was all just one flat plane like mondstadt. It’s an open world exploration game, not your church’s Easter egg hunt haha
Genuinely I don't get why people play an exploration game if they hate exploring lmao
@@Duhgel that's your problem, you do "speedruns"
the Aranaras quest was the biggest lore bomb in a region at the time it was released + the first time we saw a vision granted to someone + a revelation of something our siblin did 500 years ago + with the continuation of the quest with the Pari we discovered the origin of the cataclysm and a bit of lore about Dain too
I watched this video 3 times for now it's just too perfect i need to be more experienced to make one like that ❤
that one dendroculus (i mean if you know you know) took me hours to get because back then we had no underground map probably both in game and in interactive map. i hated sumerian elevators for a whole year after that, why did genshin make a faruzan simulator on us it's cruel as hell
enkanomiya was pretty chill on its release to explore because there was an event that marked every chest and time trial challenge on the minimap so i don’t have bad memories of exploring it. the only annoying thing was constant switches between day and night but besides that it was easy to focus on the lore and quests were interesting. i think it could be even better if the quests were voiced so it would be easier to follow them.
i think mihoyo should bring back this type of events that helps you explore especially since map became so difficult with all its layers
Exploration is what makes me miss Genshin, I didn't play for the longest time but I still loved it.
Liyue and Sumeru are like Hub Regions so the quantity of chest reflect that. Sumeru is much easier if you 100% while doing the side/world quests.
You would cry if you saw my 20%s all over sumeru. And Fontaine. I have Mondstadt at 100%, but liyue's at 95-97% and I cannot be bothered to get those last few percentage points. Inazuma ranges from 100% to 50% because I'm actively trying to complete it rn
Your dedication scares me.
this is such a relaxing video omg ty
I put this on while I was packing up to move out of my apartment in like 12 hours, I really enjoyed the long form video!
im watching someone slowly fall into madness and it's somehow relaxing to me
With those reviews and ratings, I think bro just hates exploring :D great video though!
Also, if you look at the bottom right corner of the map, you can see the exact area you are in and the exploration percent without zooming out
done it every time whenever new area unlocked within 1 day of release
I assumed Iron Ingot was just a nickname given to him based on his profession, but I like your explanation better
Just remembering when we didin't have the level thing in the map, when version 3.0 and 3.1 came out, gives me nigthmares...
Even though the grind is pain this made me want to check off the interactive map and make sure I got EVERYTHING. Not 100% the map, I mean getting every chest and interactable puzzle cause I want the materials and primos
Currently doing a first pass of the map getting the Seelies and time trials (cause haveing every marker would just clutter the map)
What im amazed by is how did you reached ar 60 with no 100% region at least
Im ar 56 and i have inazuma 100% and going for sumeru now
Man. I have 100% on all regions for months now. And I 100% every region that comes out almost immediately, mostly with the help of treasure compasses.
That being said at 3:41 and 3:45 these are already 2 chests in Starfell I hadn't found. Btw that area was for me the hardest one to 100%
Older regions were harder to 100% due to so many random chests that the compass doesn't show, like that one where you have to climb the rock pillar and get the sunsettia, or light the fire up to spawn an exquisite chest
Very Good and entertaining video man...Keep it up!
49:29 When you open the map in the bottom right corner of the screen it will tell you what part of the region you are in and the percentage of completion. Hope this helps with exploration in the future! :)
I never realized how much work can some % of exploration require, for me they all just kinda happened
1:16:45 ah yes, i feel the fact that upper and lowers names are switched probably has something to do with the lore of teyvat, and the fake sky, possible flat earth/upsidedown world stuff i've seen some theory videos about.
My only actual non-theory related, but fact of game related comment would be -
Yeah notice that the weapon billets say Northlander for places like Inazuma (which we would perceive as South), but Midlander for Fontaine? (which is in a direction we would intemperate because of the orientation of the map as North)
Interesting! I feel like their answers are tied together.

I refused to do the desert, then they finally unveiled the layered maps and I was so happy. And now I'm 100% exploration on everything.
this makes me wanna explore honestly
maybe this is just cause i was practically raised on zelda, but i love exploration. dragonspine, inazuma and fontaine were really relaxing. the music, the puzzles (occasionally), the lore and even just the sights. then being able to save enough freemos for new 5 star characters, i think i've gotten quite a few good characters after nearly 3 years (in april) of hard work
im an old player, (account originally made in 1.1 but i stopped playing until 2.0!) but only mondstadt and 1 part of fontaine is 100%. its so hard, because i was so clueless when i first started so i have no idea what i have and dont have, so having to go through all that and marking it down really discourages me. but you really inspired me! ill let you guys know how far i get!
the amount of times poor Kazuha had to die. x) ngl this motivated and scared me off a bit at the same time. xD as I have to 100% a ton of regions aswell - starting from Liyue - time to get the grind going ig
This is fr me when i lose 50/50 and need to clutch up a 5star
Bro I started the game 2 weeks ago and got above 80% in all Mondstadt, Liyue (Chasm + underground included) and Inazuma (except Enkanomiya)
I didn't imagine that some players weren't even hitting 60% everywhere
idk but I love enkanomiya and dragon spine and would prefer tons of them both instead of just one sumeru region, maybe only pari area was fun but the rest? pretty but hella inaccessible quest locked behind TONS of water in dialogue, fontaine inazuma and mondstadt really are the most comfortable for exploring while liyue and sumeru have levels problem. but as a fan of open world exploration im still loving every part of genshin, wish we though had dailies in chasm underground and enkanomiya cause music from there is stunning i wish to hear it in game for a reason rather than just come to those regions and stay there cause i cope with the fact i have no game made reason to do so. i have all my fav tracks in my apple music playlists but come on, genshin literally wastes their best places cause we never visit them again, some pretty caves in inazuma like the one under miko shrine? super pretty yet has nothing, i use to place the crystalfly catcher there so i have a reason to go there, copium once again
samee I loved exploring dragonspine and enkanomiya (just the vibes and the music *chefs kiss*) I don't understand all the hate. And don't even get me started on sumeru... exploring through it was such a slog, especially before the underground maps were released. Also the fact that exploration was blocked behind multiple world quests that were hours upon hours long. What a nightmare
you deserve more support. i discovered your channel very late, keep up the good work.
I know how much effort it takes to get 100% on any region and i think this video deserves a lot more views just for that
Thanks for your effort! I really wanted to do this at some point, but this gave me the same gratification. Now i dont have to anymore!
