I bought book 1 after hearing amazing reviews and then didn’t do it because I heard it wasn’t secular. My son still needed more help with spelling, but I was thinking of starting W&R1 since I own it, but I was worried that only doing one level of something and then jumping to something else would be confusing? What has your experience been?
Thank you! My daughter really enjoyed W&R when she did it and didn't have any problem transitioning. She is doing Structure & Style now. That is what I will have my son do next year if he's ready. If not I will do more Writing Revolution until then.
I think Word Ladders is a fun add-on but I don’t think it’s a full vocabulary curriculum. We had planned to do Word Wisdom a couple of years ago but my kids both chose Vocabulary Workshop instead so this will be our first year to actually use WW. Do you remember Fandex Kids they re” Science Cards). It brought memories for me growing up ). I couldn't believe they went up $16.00 up from way back ⬅️ my jaw dropping hearing they cost $20.00 i didn't expect to get them for $2.00 nobody could find the price tag on them). I was given $2.00 as a genius discount at Tractor Supply this past week ). I recommend get them sec hand). I can't wait to use them when i have homeschooling kids myself one day my boyfriend & i were talking about them! The set i have is bugs! I have a set is flowers 🌸 someone at church gave me that set!. Being autstict & dyslexia, Science 🔬 is tough on me). So is geography for me apparently. Kids Crash course has Science videos. Thought might be great resources for ur son)!.
