They have been a great seller with often more discussion needed once you have been in both the O3 and O2 as they both have their advantages.

I own a Helio O3 which I purchased in 2020 during the pandemic. I've taken it all over the Pacific Northwest camping, to Yellowstone, the Mount Rainier, to the Coast of Oregon, and all around the Olympic Peninsula. I have pulled it easily with a Subaru Outback and now with my Ford Ranger with ECOBOOST. The RV is great, I like the O3 because you can leave the bed down full time (making the bed every day is a pain in a small RV) and also have a cafe table with seating for two adults. This little RV is solidly built and virtually leak proof. It rains CONSTANTLY in Seattle and we get a lot of snow in the winter. It has stayed BONE DRY on the inside. Before I purchased this HELIO I owned a new 2017 Winnebago Travel Trailer. It leaked several times while I owned it, even when it was brand new. The only issue I've had with this HELIO is the stickers they put on from the factory that say HELIO....faded and looked bad., I wrote to HELIO and they sent me new stickers. It's a great lightweight RV. Most lightweight RVs are made of VERY cheap materials. The HELIO is an exception because it is very well made of high quality materials. I get a lot of interest in it when I am camping. The O3 has a toilet and an outside shower but it has everything else you need. I've never used the indoor RV toilet because there's no privacy if you are a couple using the trailer. We usually use the campground facilities but it's nice to know it's there if you're camping alone! It's a great little camper!

Thank you John for a great review of your ownership. We can't say it enough, Helio is about making sure their trailers are built as best as they can. We couldn't be happier to have them in our yard.

Nice sharing!! Are yo still using it? And what is the price range if you don't mind? Thanks

@@quanyiwang2623 Yes, I'm still using it. The price of all RVs has risen along with everything else due to inflation, supply chain , issues, etc. You can expect to pay anywhere from $35,000 U.S. on up depending on what you get. These units hold their value very well and they are highly sought-after. They are so easy to pull. The key is that they are light weight BUT BUILT very well, unlike most other lite weight RVs that are made with cheap materials.

Well, we took the leap and are buying a used O2. It has all the options and we will be picking it up soon (we have to drive almost 500 miles to pick it up sight unseen so we have faith that it is well built). We started tent camping and then bought a used Coleman Williamsburg Tent Camper that had hot water and a little tub. We loved it and It was great with our small children. We sold that during the pandemic and now we are retired and drive a Rav4 Hybrid so was looking for a lightweight trailer. The Rav4 Hybrid can tow 1750 so we will have to be very careful with how much weight we put in it but I'm confident it will be fine. We'll keep the tanks dry except for the blackwater tank and that will have a gallon of water in it. Thanks for your review. John

Thanks John for the comments. I believe it will tow well behind the Rav4 even in an hybrid configuration. I have a customer that did almost 10,000 kms (6,000 miles) trip with the exact vehicle and he was really impress on how it towed it. As for the quality of the Helio trailers, it's one of the best we have seen in our yard and we have been in business for 55 years. Just be mindful of what you put in it as the axle has it's limitation and seems to be the most common problem. It doesn't take very long you'll get to it's capacity. 6 gallons in the water heater is already 50 pound, a battery and a full propane tank will add almost 80 lbs that is not included in the dry weight of the trailer. We wish you happy camping!

@@vostrailers3444 Thank you for your reply. That is good to know about the person who went 6K miles with a Rav4 Hybrid. I did not know that the propane tank and battery were not included in the base weight so that's good to know. I empty the hot water heater before traveling so there goes 50 lbs. We plan on really watching the weight that we add and will try to put most things in our vehicle vs. the trailer.
What should I look for on the axle to know if there is a problem? Did they go to a stronger axle or something?
      Thank you!

@@littlethislittlethat456 One of the biggest advantage of the Helio trailers are their empty weight. There isn't anything else on the market as well built that you could tow with your vehicle. But to get to those weights, compromises need to be made including in the choice of the axle. In the case of Helio, they choose a 2000 lbs axle. Overloading them will result in uneven wear on the tires. Keep an eye on them and make sure they are always properly inflated. The new Helios will come with a bigger axle but I'm not sure we'll see the changes until 2025 models.

@@vostrailers3444 I always check for proper pressure on trailer tires. I also tow a small ATV trailer and the pressure on those small tires is 90 lbs. People don't realize how important it is to keep them at 90 lbs.! I will figure out the proper pressure on the Helio tires once I examine the tires. I assume somewhere close to 35 lbs. Good to know about the axle rated at 2000 lbs. We will be keeping the trailer as light as possible (less than 1750 lbs.) due to the Rav4 Hybrid towing limitation. I backpack and my full pack weight is around 26 lbs. That includes pack, tent, sleep system, food, charge banks/electronics, first aid, water and water purification filter so I know how to limit weight! Thank you for responding so quickly. If we lived in Canada, we would buy from you. We live near Windsor and Sarnia, ON being by Detroit. Our goal next year is to camp at the Pinery near Grand Bend, ON. We LOVE it there and used to camp there years ago. Now we can go back there with our Helio! John

They need an 02 floor plan that has the counter across the front like that of the 04, but with a full kitchen built into it. Then just put in a bathroom and put a fridge where the kitchen would have been.

should have shown bed better 02 model, i couldn't work it out with base on top of table? do we eat it? I love a shower no matter how small if i can fit my butt on a chair and wave the flexible shower head around me, win win win even standing to hose down smelly bits like under arms and pits etc. I also like the 04 because of that unused space at the end of the bed, my imagination went wild, like portable Walmart type air conditioner etc. even 200mm wide shelf and cupboards around perimeter inside at shoulder height would be an asset. I love these mini vans (Jimny Driver).
