    Amazing Clip, showing off Artist and Engine Skills.
    If you are open to feedback and want to finetune a last little bit I would recommend following ideas: Darken and saturate the city skyline during the driving shot to make the crispness match the overall feeling, it will also lead the focus back to the car. Maybe add almost invisible Lensflares or Bokeh, just a bit, for the movie feeling. A bit more Intense DOF at 0:54 and slightly darker containers. And please choose a different lens for the shot at 0:57, it makes this wheeled rocket look a bit thicc. Also the nice and agressive engine sound could use a hint more bass to carry the high notes.
    Respect to your amazing work, keep going, cheers to the Epic office and your team.

      Thanks for the feedback, definitely some places to improve for sure. Really starts getting hard after the all 3D work to carry the storytelling, cam movement,sound etc. There is so much to consider, and I was getting a little overwhelmed and tired at the end :). Appreciate the constructive feedback, that’s how we make it better next time.

    Fantastic work.
    How you bring your car and Camera animation to unreal ? Are you able to publish your workflow youtube or any other medium?

    • @fredrikekholm3718
      @fredrikekholm3718 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You import the meshes into the engine (often FBX files are used, but several other common 3D formats are supported).
      The camera animation is most likely done within Unreal; it has pretty good camera animation tools, especially when the camera work is fairly standard, like it is here.

    I really love the way car move slowly in the garage! What rigging system are you using?
    I’m also working on a short cinematic short film, but I can’t find a good rigging system, the one I’m using now it’s called the UAC car rig in Maya. It’s a great system! Perfect for high-speed drifting, but the curve path it’s on the center of the car, which causes the rear wheels to shift and not physically correct. It’s very obvious during low speed like the one you have during the garage.

      Have you figured out a better system yet ?? I'm also looking for one

      @@VISDE thanks man after doing more research and trial and error I found another system outside of Crafts -- unfortunately I was gearing to learn maya so it worked out well I ran across the UAC rig system and mannnn its been a freaking dream to use -- literally no headaches and its similar to the craft animations that he uses in 3DMax -- Im extremely happy with this current workflow

      @@AnimeBadBoi Cool!! I'm happy that you have found your way!! Congrats! I spend a long time learning craft animation and completing my work too! I’m posting it on my TH-cam next week! Hope we can also see your work soon

    Did you use a car rig in a 3d app like C4D then bring it in to UR?

    really nice job!!!!
    but why you making it 30fps... it gives you this smartphone recorded look... stay with 25 or even better with 24 ! it will give your video a way more natural look then 30 :)
