You cab obtain a barrier block with two methods. The first is a 'transmutation' (JKM's method of obtaining illegal blocks). But the second is funnier and harder. In 20w16a (Java 1.16 snapshot) in one of the lava pulls in every (?) Treasure Bastion (the proof is MC-178797 bug). To obtain this in survival without cheats, you need to surround the barrier with bottom slabs, place right next to it the dispenser, convert this chunk into 1blockAtATime April Fools' version, break the barrier by hands (yeah, it's possible) and, finally, put it on your head. When you convert yourself to another world with another version, the barrier must be on the head.

yes it does work and there is a way to use lag and a piston pushing the player to open command block in survival then you only have to use the gamemode command on always active to get creative

in any version of minecraft it will work just build a lag machine and then try place a commandblock item of rightclick one that is already placed
you see when minecraft is lagging it pauses fetures like the gamemode scanner to prevent crashes and then Minecraft oes not know if you are in survival or creative so it asumes you are in creative

i found the info on youtube by a random person that i cant remember but i can tell you it works as i have tryed it once and got it to work its betst to use an autoclicker wile world lagging and piston pushingm player back and forth

@@TheAAexperience more or less, you copy the inventory files from a creative world, and paste it into the survival world. I have screenshots and videos of it, I’ve been testing it for months now I got it working. I’ll be posting a video in 15 minutes on my channel of it.
