  • I guess you know that I love Bach, not very fortunate for a clarinet player 😁 anyway, as a clarinet group sounds like an organ and as Bach loved to transcribe a huge number of his works for his favorite keyboard, I like to imagine that this combination would seduce him 😇🙏here is an extract of my arrangement of the concerto for two violins, slow moment. All soprano clarinets are prototypes of boxwood Legends in A, they work very well for baroque music in my opinion, tell me in the comments what you think about that ! 👍🏻✨

    This sounds so much more beautiful and intense than the violin version.

    I grew up listening to this piece first on an LP by the Oistrakh father-son duo, and then on a cassette, played by Perlman and Zukerman. Your rendition parallels those. Clarinet is my favourite wind, and Baroque pieces for the violin sound equally good, if not better, on the clarinet. Simply amazing!
    PS: Good to see Tintin (Blue Lotus) in the background ;-)

    Maestro, you live in Bach's heart and he lives in yours. His music sounds much sweater than played by Baroque "mosquito" violin. Thank you so much

    One of the most beautiful baroque pieces. The dialogue between the two main voices is simply amazing, not to mention the harmony. You did a great Job! It sounds like an old organ! 🎹 I'm sure bach would be pleased to hear your arrangement.❤️ Congrats! Greetings from Mexico. ;)

    I enjoyed sound of the boxwood Legende clarinet. I feel the sound is very warm and suits for baroque music.
    I noticed you played different Legende clarinets, made of granadilla, rosewood, and boxwood in your clarinet quartet of Scherzo from Mendelssohn's midsummer night dream.
    I suppose heavy wood clarinet sounds strong and light wood soft. I expect your comments about three different wood clarinets. Thank you!

    Stunning. LOVE your Bach playing - though he never wrote directly for clarinet, the instrument (at leats in. your hands) has such an affinity with his music. Would you consider releasing a CD of Bach as transcribed for clarinet by you and second, putting up the first and third movements of the double violin concerto?

You are most complete and interesting clarinet player today. It would be great if you could come to my hometown to share your musicality with us! A hug and greetings from Spain!" I wholesomely agree with Nacho Basora and I am so glad you play clarinet and enjoy it! Ling Ling would be proud.

    Fantastic. You are really owning these baroque pieces. I would be thrilled to hear the Largo from Telemann's Concerto for 3 violins in F major. There is a lovely tranquil interlude toward the end. The one performance that does it justice is at Vimeo, in a concert titled ambronay_sinkovsky_2018

    Hi Nicolas, about the boxwood clarinet, what is the material (wood) of this instrument made of? How do you feel playing with a final Legend clarinet vs the booxwood? Many of us dont have the opportunity to play any of the two clarinets, is the boxwood more rich? more soft? Tell us so we can imagine.

  • @BennyGoodman1977
    @BennyGoodman1977 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    Juste magnifique.
    Peut-être un peu plus doucement comme la seconde partie du concerto pour clarinette et orchestre de Mozart...
    Plus doux.
    Une amplitude que seul la clarinette est capable d'offrir
