They each have their own perks, but as an Iraqi Jew, there is no place with such a sense of community like Or Yehuda (still counts as being within the Tel Aviv District). Tal, do you think you can do a review on Or Yehuda, and maybe a whole series on Iraqi Olim communities throughout Israel? I really loved the video you did with your grandparents a while back, and it would be nice to see more like that. Thank you, and blessings and warm hugs to you and yours!
Musakhan is a Levantine dish that in Lebanon is called Muhammar. It's not an exclusively Palestinian dish. Jerusalem mixed grill and Sabich are dishes that can only be found in Israel
All that food made me hungry for some! I liked seeing the old buildings of the old city. As a Christian it was where Jesus Christ once walked. Even though i am not very religious i would pick Jerusalem because of that fact!

Both cities are absolutely amazing! Jerusalem has better historical sites and markets! Tel Aviv has better foods and views, you can’t beat that ocean view! Thanks for that tour!!!
😁Great!!! Southern Sweden here. This video makes me want to go to Israel. The Borat references....oh my... But you need to make a video about how to haggle. I don't want to come across as a gullible Swedish tourist when I visit the markets.
Sad I didn't run into you in JLM, I was hanging by Mahane Yehuda with Rabbi Yehuda HaKohen today and you came up in conversation. Keep up the vids akhi. Love you long time.
BOTH cities are THE BEST!! They couldn't be more different. But that is what makes Israel AMAZING!!! But, btw, you can also get stabbed in the Arab quarter of the Old City, as someone did 2 days ago. So be careful! Especially if you're not sure where you are going (if you miss "that turn"!). Always best to turn RIGHT after Jaffa gate, and then just follow the Jews to the Western Wall.
I LOVE Tal and his videos. I also love Moshe and Philip (I subbed to his new channel!). And watching them run around Israel, ESPECIALLY Jerusalem (where my daughter lives), is great!! ONE COMMENT.... One doesn't have to be Jewish or religious, but when at the Kotel (the Western Wall), show just a little more respect on camera! Do whatever you want on your own time, etc. But on camera, as a Jew, representing, ESPECIALLY with what is going on now, putting FALAFEL on your qvittel (as the note is called in Yiddish) seems SUPER disrespectful. Or at least a missed opportunity... As Rabbi Shlomo Carlebach used to say, you never know when someone says to you, "G-d bless you", if it comes from a Big, famous Rabbi, or a "bum on the street", who is more holy in God's eyes. Who are WE to judge? We don't know, right? So weigh them evenly and never judge! Same thing goes with your qvittel, who knows which one will be the one G-d answers.... so to be sure, especially now, let's not waste our request on a falafel, right??
Loved this video! 💙 As for me picking a favourite, it's tricky as both have their special magic and are complete opposites. I've lived in both and love them both in different ways. The best way I can explain it is as a good friend once said to me, "Jerusalem will always be my wife. But Tel Aviv, she's my mistress" 😂
I see a new visitor on the vlog ❤ well not technically a new visitor but as I know I can say I’m truly happy to see my boys together again. I know I should walking right there in that frame and exploring this amazing city with the boys and having the most insane fun we have always had in the past. Missed you guys so much ❤
Watching your video from Malaysia at 530am I feel hungry already now 😂 you should try Miznon restaurant - they have a branch in Singapore too- I have tried few times in Singapore Branch damn tasty ❤
Hi ! been following Your channel for years now . I'm a 25 year - old from Poland and ive recently decided it's time for me to travel a bit . my dream have always been Israel and Japan . my question is : how safe is it in Israel now if you want to stick to let's say Tel Aviv only . are there any tourists in Israel now ?? Thank you and keep up the good work and of course wishing victory and peace for Your country .
The Muslims have Mecca and Medina. Christians or Jews have the Holy Land of the Jews and Christians.....BUT we are not allowed to have, because the Muslims want it all. We never bother them about Mecca and Medina. They want it all. They tried to Invade Europe too, and take over Europe. They succeeded in converting all of Turkey. The largest church building in Turkey, Hagia Sophia, has converted to a Mosque. If we had converted a Mosque into a Church or Synagogue there would be world war about it, for sure!!! But they are the victims all the time!! Every time i hear about Gaza i have to remind myself what these people are like!! They are now moving into Europe!! And want to change the rules and laws and use our freedoms against us!!! i am tired of it! As a Christian I support Israel.
Dear Tal please do more videos like that than political opinions. And if you go political please do some stuff with Corey the videos of u too together are the best u too have together such great energy an knowledge. Thank u for uploading every day please keep it up. ❤
Great Video, having experience both cities in person is so hard to choose a favorite.... Love them both ... Love Israel my favorite country in the world! 💙

As an Israeli, I can say that Tel Aviv is a more modern and western city with much more open and nice people than Jerusalem, which is very disconnected from the culture of the rest of Israel
It’s a bit unfortunate you didn’t mention that above the western wall is the Temple Mount, the most sacred place according to Jews. I’ll give a hint without going into details that Al Aqsa is not where you think it is. Google is a friend for anyone who’s interested to learn about it.
He did! At 2:05! He explained what we call it as well as what it is called in Hebrew. And it's meaning to both. Only thing he didn't discuss was that Jews (Orthodox Jews) are not allowed to pray on Temple Mount bc no one is quite sure the exact spot, so until Moshiach comes and the third temple is built, we can't go up there. Also, it is under the control and administration of the Waqf (Saudis) and Jews are only allowed up 3 days a year. Otherwise the Arabs have free reign.
@@skontheroad nope, he said something which is wrong and that is the western wall is the most important/sacred place which it isn’t. The wall itself is not sacred in any way but rather its proximity to the holiest place which is the Temple Mount is what makes it important. Btw and not really related - There are sects that don’t allow entrance to the Temple Mount and there are others who disagree on this and thus they do go up there BUT all sects agree on the fact that it is the most important place for Jews, be it allowed entrance OR not.
@Flunko97 Re-read your first paragraph and your last paragraph and please explain! So, he did? Or he didn't?? And if YOU wish to correct it, yallah! I am sure he wouldn't mind!!
I have a friend who visited Israel once and when he was in Jerusalem, an old man told him: - Be careful, Tel Aviv is a dangerous city! My friend reply: - Why? And the old man told him: - It is dangerous for your soul.
Also the temple mount is where the Two Jewish Temples stood, long, long before Islam was created by Mohammed, in which two profane buildings were built where the Two Jewish Temples stood. I don't know why you didnt mention that being a Jew. I would he shouting this Truth to the hills...to the world.

@TheTravelingClatt maybe the kedeusha I felt while living there. Plus I never really would hang out in tel aviv. I lived in Israel from 95 till 04.
