...at some point any material reaches their mechanical limit. Problem with Beyblade is that they have to be cheap, easy to manufacture and durable. You can't have it all, so some compromise has to be made. If they were to make beyblades more durable that would certainly reflect in the final price...:/

Usually cost rises faster than performance so unless cost is not an issue it's rarely worth the performance gain. For example if you want a fast car that runs 200 mph, a 60k $ Corvette C8 will suffice, but if you want a really fast car that runs 300 mph then you will have to buy a Bugatti for 50x more...:/

I remember replacing my metal fight's performance tip with a metal performance tip from a knockoff metal fight beyblade when I was a kid since the original's would eventually get grinded into nothing.
I would keep in mind, a lot of the people doing battles with these beys are not doing it against other Beyblade X beys. Some people have been doing battles against MFB beys, which are way heavier, and more jagged, and will cause a ton of damage to these beys.
I know LeftBurst did a video where it was (I believe) 4 Burst Beys vs 1 Dransword so yeah people are doing cross-gen battles but it wouldn't surprise me if people are doing MFB vs Beys from Beyblade X

Not at all. My X bey's ratchets are damaged and I've never used them against metal fight beys. X beys tilt A LOT, so its pretty easy for the beys to hit the rachets. I've even had some of my X beys twist off it's opponent's rachet from the blade in a battle.
We all know beyblades wear but when they wear down to the point it’s unusable for casual and competitive play in a short amount of time at that point it becomes a waste of time and money especially with how expensive it gets and we got inflation going on
I think there's a good side to the breakages. With some beyblades breaking, Takara Tomy can work on fixing the problems before the actual release of the beys Also for the article, did you notice the Takara Tomy logo in the corner of one of the pictures on the site that shows the anime renders of the characters? I feel like that tells us that Takara Tomy will be in charge of this, but I understand your choice to not be 100% on it.

I’ve also noticed that when you fight c beyblade a they leave tiny “metal dust” particles that can be seen on the stadium. These are a hazard for our respiratory systems.
Breakage is common for Beyblade, and that Beyblade X is more aggressive should be as expected. I’m not too bothered by the recent reports, it seems to be happening fairly rarely.

I'd imagine that TT is trying to get back into a metal fight production mindset. Metal Fight had really durable plastic and metal, yet they weren't immune to chipping/breaking. But I'd blame the parts for their breakage, since I often see unsupported/hollow pieces get snapped more than a filled in part (4d metal parts, contact points on burst beys, etc.) Maybe there's a new composition for the metal and/or plastic.

Remember those white LEGO gears with its firmly rotating hole-part? I think this mechanic would rescue the metal/plastic durability during rough battles, when the blade, being a separated part, firmly rotates a bit to absorb overpowered hits.
I noticed the clear plastic on my blade feels a little loose. Not sure if its a defect. But it kinda makes me scared that it might come off or something
They should start sellin specific parts with exception like proof of damaged takara tomy/hasbro bryblade x parts to be able to purchase replacements. Like they can only access bey parts if they already have one.
There is definitely more fighting and personality in these beyblades. So this level of damage I think is appropriate especially since they make more contact with each other, especially in such an aggressive manner. I look forward to the boosters and replacement parts. Doing maintenance would be awesome, it would be the equivalent to the fun you have from sleeving up cards in TCGs.
Thats because they had to add the burst gimmick with the whole ratchet thing. Just remove the burst gimmick and then they could make the ratchets smaller so they don't get hit as often

I'll be honest...before I sink my teeth into Beyblade X proper. I might get a couple of KO ones and see how much fun I have with them. If I have no fun, that's most likely from the KO ones being trash, but if I get a decent amount if not GREAT amount of fun, then I'll be getting the officials. But before I drop $20 a bey, just want to see if the $5 KO ones are anywhere NEAR the same quality.

I'm going to assume its from warping plastic from heat generated from the initial hit on two dranswords slamming into each other.

My big bang pegasus face bolt broke on the 6th battle with vary Aries it was not good the bottom of the face bolt flew across my room but I can't use pegasus anymore
my metal fights beys wgen i had them, main breakages that i usually encounter r the spin track and performance tip. burst, my vanish blade broke... even though i dont battle it that often tho....but yea, every generation has its issue. as long it doesn't stop u from enjoying the hobby.
Cost analysis would stop one from enjoying the hobby especially with how inflation is with everything so if you have to buy another copy within 5 months it becomes a problem

LeftBurst did have the beys battle against the metal line with a modified string launcher while the x beys only had the normal ripcord launcher so the x beys were getting rekt
For my beyblade what I try do to have less battle so I don’t damage then as much.I don’t battle as often unless I wanted to make video or anime hit like certain milestone in my books. I’ve been doing a lot of research, and these issues are pretty isolated and seemingly rare. Denting and scratching we could expect but full on breaks I don’t think will be common.
I am not surprised but these Beyblades are sustaining so much damage. Eddiehh recently posted a video of him battling them in his really big Stadium using dransword and hellscythe. Every single time they made contact they launched themselves out of the stadium, there was almost never a second contact. If the contact is that violent hit a big Stadium I can't imagine what it's going to be like when they're being slammed into each other by a gear strip. The gear strip and the bit is also going to be an issue. If they didn't make them out of suitable plastic then the large amount of RPMs that these things are being subjected to is going to strip the teeth off of both the bit and the strip.
Another reason can be people are probably just slamming the beys on the concrete, taking pictures of the damage and posting it online to make lame untrue stories.
I don’t really think so with where it’s breaking. A lot of the breaks in this video are from inside on the plastic. Breakage doesn’t look like a big deal though, just something to be aware of.
Haha HELL NO i’ve had 2 of my X beys break from launching them and using them in battle you can look on my community page for proof also the plastic stress marks prove that this stuff cant be easily faked as you say, do research instead of dickriding.

Not worried about the metal denting as aggressive as the shapes are. Only one full break so far from everyone who has gotten the beyblades.

Probably not a flaw in the quality of materials, but rather the design and function of the Beys due to the High Velocity Impacts

I think of parts like the first version of horn 145, that was incredibly weak and was notorious for breaking

They are pretty durable, but in the hasbro stadium (which is most agressive arena) they do scratch and get scuffed. It is very fun though.

I’ve been doing a lot of research, and these issues are pretty isolated and seemingly rare. Denting and scratching we could expect but full on breaks I don’t think will be common.

I am not surprised but these Beyblades are sustaining so much damage. Eddiehh recently posted a video of him battling them in his really big Stadium using dransword and hellscythe. Every single time they made contact they launched themselves out of the stadium, there was almost never a second contact. If the contact is that violent hit a big Stadium I can't imagine what it's going to be like when they're being slammed into each other by a gear strip. The gear strip and the bit is also going to be an issue. If they didn't make them out of suitable plastic then the large amount of RPMs that these things are being subjected to is going to strip the teeth off of both the bit and the strip.

Another reason can be people are probably just slamming the beys on the concrete, taking pictures of the damage and posting it online to make lame untrue stories.
I don’t really think so with where it’s breaking. A lot of the breaks in this video are from inside on the plastic.
Breakage doesn’t look like a big deal though, just something to be aware of.
Haha HELL NO i’ve had 2 of my X beys break from launching them and using them in battle you can look on my community page for proof also the plastic stress marks prove that this stuff cant be easily faked as you say, do research instead of dickriding.
