This would be the fight if Sekiro didn't kill most of Ashina soldiers before the Interior Ministry attack
And then he also killed the Interior Ministry solders, then the Demon of Hatred killed the rest of those Ministry soldiers

I’ll admit that what Sekiro did was selfish, but he had to rescue Kuro because it was his duty as Kuro’s servant/shinobi.

It was more than that. You see, when Sekiro was told to help the Ashina forces to defeat the Interior Ministry, he did.
The thing is, Genichiro and the Interior Ministry both wanted Kuro for his immortality, and it was Sekiro's duty from the beginning to protect Kuro. There was no "Selfish" part in that. A little kid got kidnapped for political purpose by both parties, and one man who risked everything to protect this kid, which one is more "Selfish"???? I believe you have the answer yourself.
I haven't even wanted to list all the parties here, even Sekiro is one party, but this party protects the kid.
In a parallel universe where Genichiro is a shrewd tactician who plots to have the Shinobi Owl kidnap Kuro so he can unite with Sekiro against the traitor and the Interior Minister.
What we have instead is a selfish egomaniac who turned Ashina's most prolific mass murderer against him and against his beloved land.

never got why all the ashina guards are still trying to kill wolf in the last leg of the game obviously not the real threat
@@obscure.reference I mean like literally a few hours earlier he was running around and killing a bunch of soldiers and top generals, so I doubt they thought of wolf as an ally.
You mean a parallel universe where Owl doesn't plan to use Kuro as a mean to take over the entire Japan for himself, and Sekiro will most likely die a million times giving the whole Japan Dragonrot, which is literally the main and only fucking reason why Kuro or Isshin never asked Wolf to fight for Ashina?

@@ernesto7334 The cheese is really simple to do, all you basically do is as soon as you enter the monk's arena immediately stop to not spawn the monk just yet, crouch and hug the left wall. Keep sneaking and hugging the left wall until you reach the back area of the arena which is when you use contact medicine, sneak up to the back of the monk as close as possible and use raven mist to fly up in the air, if you did everything right then a deathblow prompt should appear as soon as you go up in the air which basically skips the apparition monk fight. If you still don't get it then you can easily find a guide if you search up Corrupted Monk cheese

You mean the guy that took out their best generals. Including the one on the horse literally holding the front lines by himself. That guy? I mean if ai was in a war seeing as he assassinated Alot of top members of the clan. I would not take my chances with him.
@@tawabhapak I agree with this. It's made clear the troops of Genichiro are pretty aware of how insane it is that they're asking help from you of all people. The dying nightjar right before the Owl boss fight makes a comment on how desperate their situation is for them to ask the help of Wolf.
That said, it's still pretty hilarious how on the Ashina bridge, there's this one guy who entrusts the duty of reinforcing their dwindling forces to you and you can just get shot in the back by said forces who are right next to him.
Imagine being relieved that SOMEONE finally came and heeded your call for reinforcements and your comrades just proceed to gun him down and possibly get torn to shreds in the process lmao
Oh my God this was awesome! I always wished in the final battles Ashina would be like be friendly because you know common enemy.
Don't know why From didn't flip the aggro to friendly. You'd suspect after talking to both NPC's that they need your help it would've triggered them to not attack you.

@@cheefqueef6494 I think it's probably because you've infiltrated in and killed them all a bunch before and also nearly killed genichiro.
This should've been an actual thing. Maybe at the end of the game like, the Sword Saint Isshin gives you a choice to like, idk, make sure Kuro is safe with him and go help beat the Interior Ministry, or to fight him and force Kuro from his hands. After all, Isshin wanted to protect Kuro, so this choice would also make sense, since I would guess he would have the same protectiveness towards Kuro even in death.
When you choose to help Ashina push back the Ministry, you get these battels, and at the end, you can go back and finish up what you left behind. Maybe even Isshin helps you with the final task.
The fact you didn't get a single hit and prevailed fascinates me. This game had tremendous potential in mass combat, more modes like this should be made. Keep your work up man, you are glorious!

Dammit, I wished there was the choice to actually care for the destiny of Ashina... sure, it’s a shitty land full of monsters where everything wants you dead, but it’s still where our journey to the immortal severance takes place xD
They could’ve had Isshin convince Wolf to do something against the interior ministry before fleeing with Kuro with some motivational speech, perhaps, or alternatively, like that other guy in the comments said, Genichiro could’ve been a little smarter and use Kuro to blackmail Wolf into winning his war for him...
Too bad the screenplay of Sekiro is just some discount glue to justify the passage from a game section to another, and they didn’t use it to make the characters more relatable
Genichiro blackmailing Wolf would've very quickly backfired I think. More thoughtful would've been asking Kuro to allow him to vow the undying pledge (or whatever it was called), and upon being refused, ask why, discuss with him, and respect his choice and opinion and be like "welp, it's a shame that you refuse but it's your choice" and then keep him as a guest and aid him.

@@firelordbob1524 Me too, I think in the perfect sekiro game world this is the biggest endgame mistake
I think the devs didn't want to risk over powering the player endgame by granting him full Ashina support so probably that's why they still fight us because Ashina is desperate and doesn't know at this point who is friend or foe

there is a item which if taken inflicts poison status but actually prevents from other poisons damage
@@ankitwawage in addition to that, the raven's mist only works if you take damage, however when you use this specific item, a minuscule amount of damage is taken consecutively, letting you use the raven's mist whenever you want
