Hey there, I see the bubble-x in the link you provided is a 96”x48” sheet. How many of these did you order? I could go measure when I get home but…😅 My Ovrlnd camper is on the same 6’ Tacoma bed
If memory serves, I had to order 3 sheets. Two for the roof and one for the lower portion. I’ve been really happy with it as a material. Durable, light, and easy to clean. Good luck on your build!
Hey Kevin, I found a local plastics wholesaler in Portland. They’re linked in the description. But I would definitely just search plastic wholesalers in your area.
@@HeyJonMoore I slid some reflectix under my bed carpet and mattress. super thin and does (or at the very least feels like it does) a good job at creating a barrier and temp control
Mine was build #502. Love my camper. I did industrial 1/4 in cork wall. After almost 1.5 yrs, no mold.
Nice dude! Thats OG. Stoked to hear you still love it after all this time 🤙
Going with foam board on mine and that thinsulate looks wayyy easier. Love the simple approach on your build
Yeahh the thinsulate is just so easy to cut. Thanks dude and good luck on your build 🤙
You made it look easy.
Haha still took me three days
Thank you for making this video!! It looks like a great build.
Thank you! Stoked you like it
Awesome vid! How many sq ft of 3M Thinsulate did you need for the build?
To tell you the truth, I’m not sure. I got mine from off cut scraps out of a friends van build
How did you keep dust out of the build…. Did the bed rug manage this?
Yes! The bed rug helps but I also added weather stripping around the perimeter of the tailgate. I’ll try to send you a link when I have more service

Thank you 🎉 you have the best channel!
Love this build! What did you use to cut the bubble-x plastic panels?
Thanks! I had access to a table saw and used that to cut things down to manageable sizes. From there, just a jigsaw and circular saw.
Hi Jon, where did you purchase/find your bubble-x panels?
Hey Kevin, I found a local plastics wholesaler in Portland. They’re linked in the description. But I would definitely just search plastic wholesalers in your area.
I figured out some material to panel the bed area of the OVRLND. I made a video on it check it out
Oh hell yeah! Ill check that out shortly
Your build is very nice! Good vids too man!
Is any of the truck bed insulated?
No insulation in the bed BUT the full Bedrug does make a huge difference. Good question

That’s a solid idea. Probably pull the trigger on some more reflextix next winter and try that out. Appreciate the advice 🤙
