For the life of me, I can't understand how your hair is always so damn shiny and glossy! I've been watching you for years, and I've never seen this level of shine on a coily texture. It doesn't matter what I do, my hair always look dull.
Same! I learned from Afrikanhairgod that sometimes people’s hair is different and some people have shinier hair while others can’t achieve it. I’m sure I’m not saying it exactly right but it was something like that. I’ve since accepted that my hair will never look shiny.

Natasha Simmons 🙌🏾 I have to re record the video, because I hated it. I know everyone is waiting on the video, so I have to get it right for you. It was bad lighting and bad angles. I will record my next session. It took me about 6 hours, I was doing it in between work and distractions so I can think I can do it faster my Second time around. It was supeeeer easy! I like the shape it’s forming. I can’t wait to get that video up!!!!
Love your locs!! I couldn't use that much oil until like month 8 because my locs were slipping and weren't hardening. Now I love oil for the sheen it gives! I'm a year in.

Alicia James And thank you for sharing your Rose water and Olive spray. A lot people are “against” adding proper moisture to new locs, not realizing that the hair will loc regardless. And I just don’t want to undo all the work that I put into keeping my hair healthy in its natural state!
