BMW F80 M3cs M performance vs Akrapovic titanium exhaust comparison

For those looking for a comparison between the MPE and Akra titanium exhaust systems.
Both consisted of link pipes and silencer with flaps fitted.
Difficult to tell in the video but the Akra had much more of a bass note when the flaps were open, the MPE was loud and slightly higher pitched. The Akra had a deep rumble but when the car was warmer the Akra was very quiet where the MPE was slightly more noticeable.
All in all a personal choice, you will absolutely not be unhappy with either!

MPE for me
Plus I have this on my M3 and it sounds amazing in person. I am considering though to decat downpipes for akra and that will sound even louder with loud crackles

M performance is louder as it removes the resonator as well. But Akrapovic sounds deeper and truer. Guess it depends on personal taste if you want loud vs deep rumble

Very long shot but was the Akra the EVO model or was it just equipped with the rear silencer ? And was it noticeably louder than the MPE? Thank you !

It is hard to decide base on sound, but it is easy if you are looking for better quality exhaust. We all know which 1 is of better quality.
