As a Fulvia owner, I was surprised that there wasnt a single Fulvia Coupe to spot anywhere in this video, since it is the car that started Lancias rally myth and the first car they won the Monte Carlo Rally with. Also I was lucky enough to be a passenger in a 037 Stradale, that thing is such a beast.

I have owned and built two Celica ST165 GT4s. The 3SGTE engine by Yamaha was also used in the 500HP Toms Supra JGTC race cars. The homologate street car was the ultimate sleeper car of its day.
Thats wild about the Supra engine!

The alternator has a separate duct that runs down to the under tray where there is high pressure air that forces it's way into said duct.
You know only 90s rally can make some guy go crazy like that. Rally cars ingenuity are really at different level. So much solution for a problem we didn't realize existed
Man soooo cool. I absolutely love the classic raly cars especially the group B era. I’m still mind blown that rally never took off as much in Anerica. And i don’t understand why it has all of the things we enjoy about Motorsport in one package.

Larry your coverage is second to none!!! Absolutely love going on these journeys and Safari’s around the world and experiencing this beautiful car culture! For me the show stoppers were the Subarus, stratos and that Lancia Beta Monte Carlo- like you said soooo crude but brutally fast!!! If you notice on the Beta Monte Carlo the air intake is on the wing stand- the wire meshing and tube that feeds the turbo- sooooo clever! Always have loved that! 🤙🏼

True words Larry, as a teenager also on COD at the time I happen to turn on the tele and catch this odd golden sedan speeding around on dirt. Then that car flipped and kept going. I had no idea what it was but I knew I had just witnessed something special. Fast forward 20 yearrs GD sti jdm swapped, BG Outback rebuilt.

Part of the reason they have so many Lancias’ is because they’re the winningest constructor in WRC history. I think they have 7 world titles? All won back when rally was wild and outta control.

in 2003, an 88 Celica GT 5 spd was my 1st car. The GTS was _so_ hard to find. I'm a Subie guy now but I'd be hard-pressed skipping a good deal on any late-80's Celica.

You should visit Misha at Nurburgring. Ride along for some laps and do some car spotting in the parking lots. Even better, call up Subaru and bring Louis to embed with their Nurburgring 24 hour WRX team. They do it every year.

When you're back in the States I think you should totally come to our cars and coffee in Knoxville TN then take a drive up the parkway and onto the tail of the dragon. It could be a whole day thing. Because you could film and drive the dragon during the day and also do some passes at night which are my favorite. You and Dino are so inspiring and I want to get my old Canon AE1 fixed and start going and filming cars and I've always wanted to build a car and all your content has been so inspiring and informative that I have so many dream builds in my mind to last a lifetime.

Common misconception that turbo fans are to pull air in. They are they are there to extract the heat out. Combined with brake ducting you can get a very strong air flow through the wheel.
