I only went to a club once when I went to a school trip to Berlin. The only things I remember are strippers, vietnamese women with dwarfism yelling at me in the bathroom and a classmates stomach getting pumped

I've never clubbed but after working as a bartender for a club for a couple of months, I decided clubbing is not for me.
In Germany you get drunk at home, because it's cheaper, and then you go to a club and have a blast.
That's kind of the same as predrinks in the UK though you might also go to a pub (spoons) instead.
Story of my foreign exchange in Germany.
It was funny to watch people go full mathematic expert to find the perfect balance between drinking enough to not order many drinks inside the club and not to much to not be stopped by the security guys.

I remember my mom and my sister dragged me to a nightclub in DC even though i repeatedly told them i didn't want to go, and go figure i had a horrible time. It was boiling hot, i was 18 so i couldn't even get drunk, and everyone was the most normie of normie people there. After i left i got even more salty when i realized that otacon was like one street away, and one of my favorite artist was performing (shing02).

Nobody goes clubbing sober though. I normally go to a pub first get smashed, smoke some weed then decide to go clubbing after.
My best friend and I went to a club for the first time a couple years ago and we were super excited. But once we got in we realized that we were way too introverted to be there because both of us sat at the table in the dim corner and were too shy to go to the bar to order drinks.
We were there for only 1 hour before we left, but we got in free so we just called it a life experience.
Clubbing is oke but the after parties/chillings are the best!
Haven't been to a club in like 5 or 6 years and pub in 1 year. Tbh I didn't like pubs because I find them boring. I enjoy it for the first hour or two but then it just feels shit because there's nothing else to talk about. Unless there is live music then its a good laugh. Clubs I like mainly for the dancing part and the random groups you end up dancing with but that can be bad too if you dance with annoying people that think jumping on people is fun and hurting them is fun. All I want is a place with good music, fun atmosphere and people just enjoying themselves. So I guess a pub with live music and a dance floor would be my preference now since I'm older (27 now). Its funny that you see vids of clubs around the world and they look like a great laugh but then you see vids of people talking about their experiences and how they were bad. Luck of the draw really.

I like clubbing because I just enjoy dancing with my friends, I don't need drinks either so it's quite cheap for me. I rarely go though (maybe twice a year) because I'm introverted and it takes me so much to actually want to go out and stay up that late.

Clubbing was enjoyable from 19-20 pre game before hand. When I was old enough be be able to drink- I was over it.
It feels kinds wrong, when I hear people in their 20s saying "you enjoy clubbing when you're younger" but... most clubs don't let you in if you're not over 18, or is it just an European thing? When are you supposed to enjoy clubbing (I honestly want know, I've never enjoyed it so far)
However, when I was in Japan, we went clubbing in hokkaido, and my friend & I drank two bottles of polish vodka (Zubrowka - which I don't know why they had) and the bartenders couldn't understand how we're still standing, and ... just alive. He was giving us, what I think was free orange juice while all our japanese friends had to pay for their juice.

Clubbing requires being at least tipsy before you go, an event you actually want to go to and then preferably some sort of drug when you're there (MDMA or Sativa Weed or Half tab of LSD) and then it's fucking amazing.
I love clubbing, I hate going to just your standard club night. Good clubbing requires planning and knowing what events are actually good (Generally look for Psytrance and themed nights)
I never took drugs (to go clubbing, anyway) but yeah, themed nights are the way to go, if you care about music. Normie clubs just feel like supermarkets with the lights turned down.
