saw that too
Soul mates I guess
Filler has improved much in the last 5 years. You wouldn't see him make some of those mistakes like that now.
Yeah, this would be a massive upset in 2023.
Hope Corey will start playing more events.
Mark talked about what a great guy Corey is, and what a great sense of humor he has. So I ran into Corey at a pool tournament a few years ago at Big Dog Billiards in Iowa. He was in-between matches sitting there waiting for a cue repair guy to put a new tip on one of his cues.
I was also in-between matches and I had just bought a new Meucci cue, a BMC pro series 5 custom cue signed by Bob Meucci. I knew that Corey was sponsored by Meucci so as I was walking by where he was sitting I said Hi Corey, I just got a new Meucci cue and I really like it, and then I asked him how he liked playing with a Meucci, he looked at me and he said one word, fine.
And that was it, then I stood there for a little bit waiting to see if he would say anything else. Then he turned his head away from me without saying another word, so I stood there for a few seconds more, and walked away. In closing, he seemed like a jerk who was hoping I would just leave him alone and go away. And he was not doing a damn thing, just sitting and waiting for his cue to be repaired.
You would think a guy who was sponsored by Meucci would talk to another player who was using a Meucci cue, and at least ask to see the cue, or say something more than one word and turn his head away, which is a clue that he does not want to talk to you. I was sort of mad about it, and I almost said ok see you later jerk. That was the first thought that came into my head, but I did not do it, and I just walked away thinking he was a jerk.
He’s a jerk because he didn’t give you some attention that you think he owes you because you bought a cue from a company that sponsors him?
You are SOFT, grow a pair steve
The winner didn't scream and jump on the table, thank you.
It wasn't the finals. He would look foolish for jumping on the table for advancing to 7th/8th... .. ..
@@HillbillyIslandLife especially considering this match was on the losers bracket.
it's only filer that behave that way, he's a child after all.
OK earl is 🤪
if u was good enough to win the us open im sure u would be excited also but since your not i dont guess we will ever know
wonderful match
Corey’s bridge looks so stable
I always think the same thing. I’ve tried to replicate it and my fingers don’t even bend like that! 😳🤣
Corey has gorilla hands. They're huge
I don’t see how he gets his fingers bent like that! I really wish I could get a bridge like that established on a high ball shot.
Go corey
Fantástico jugador
Thanks again Pat Flemming!
I love watching 👀 Corey play 🎱 and he wins Everytime! 😁
Sure, he use his iq to play pool, look like he enjoy it not play though
The Fillers look EXHAUSTED.
Filler lost this Duel to the prince of pool....
Does Deuel ever smile? Answer: kinda. I think I detected a hint of a smile at 1:32:14. Oh, and a big one at the win! Hats off to Corey, one of the best matches I've seen him play.
No mention of Fillers great comeback..now that was heart even though Corey is my favorite
Corey is a champion period he has won at at least one world open nine ball. I would put my money on corey playing filler for cash.
Thee ol jacket game.
Danny too funny
Why was he leaving the last ball off the rack and trying to get them tight? When I rack I put all 9 balls on and feather the sides and it's tight. It just took forever between games. Other than that it was a great match!
Can someone explain the jackets? They took a break and came back wearing jackets.
at these large events the temperature in the arena will often change quickly and drastically in either direction... Likely that the A/C had began to churn out some cold air and they simply would rather deal with the bulkiness and higher chance of an incidental foul than dealing with being cold.
I don’t mean to sound derogatory against the Great hall of fame, announcer, Danny but the term for breadbox I believe it’s either a rough dialect translation. Where is completely wrong banzo is actually monk or priest. Scalto di pane is breadbox if anybody else can correct me on that I would appreciate it being that I’ve been fluent in Italian since I was born
he doesn't have that many chances against big players who play calmly and calmly. filer , you can go play at leisure parks
The judge from my cousin vinny also played in the original pet semetery
turn the heat on?
Leave it to Grady to say Corey is intimidated by Filler when Corey's beaten Efrem Reyes at his best..Grady like to compare himself with these high level pros lol
Grady Mathews died about 10 years. Are you perhaps referring to Danny DiLiberto?
Grady mathews was one helluva player and very very knowledgeable. Danny is annoying af but he's also a knowledgeable player, just not nearly as smart or interesting as Grady. Grady could hang w these boys in straight pool lol
Filler đi chấm còn nhanh hơn trọng tài xếp bi
Pia looks like she had a terrible night!
1:27:10 I gotta find me one of them “dogs playing pool” tommy bahama shirts. 🔥
don't understand Corys decision on the ball in hand
why corey break with his playing stick
Lots of them did. What with the jackets?
I wonder what kind of shaft Filler is using, I don't think carbon shafts were widely available in 2017.
They don’t need to be widely available for the best players in the world to get them though
It was REVO
Filler's wife wasn't exactly "glowing".
🤣🤣🤣 of course she wasn´t, she is so in her masculine that it drains her
1:47:00
Basic shot dude
Hey did you guys notice they're wearing jackets?
Stop complaining about their coats
If their clothing touched the ball, but the ball did not move, is it still considered a foul?
Yes
at 1:45:00 watch its hilarious
Buddy called filler gf fatter than he is. Not cool man. Lol
He said she looked sadder, not fatter.
corey is not in the mood of playing that why it didn't end 11 to 2
Your facts are inaccurate!
Good match, I thought Filler was going catch up and beat Corey towards the end.
Why even make an assertion like that? Like, who asked?
wacky observation
Not an absurd assertion, as others would think. Joshua had run 4 nearly flawless racks, and 2 more were definitely in the realm of possibility.
Everyone talks about the players loving this game. Between Joshua, Pia and Corey, I've never seen 3 more miserable-looking people!
Dude doing intro needs to go. Damn that lip smacking.
I think that jackets look terrible says the commentator. Big cry baby shouldn’t be commentating. He’s always crying and complaining about the players.
Those street jackets do look crappy.
@Karl Childers Yes and when you're trying to promote the game image does matter. Super serious fans may not care all that much, but they aren't the entire target audience.
@Karl Childers Your point is not clear? It is in the interest of Accu-stats to promote the game.
First that one announcer says Corey's intimidated by Jashua ha ha ha Corey beat Efren Reyes at his best.. he's have the new kid in the block a nice lesson
This was 2017 so like 6 years ago. Deuel hasn't won much in those last years while Filler won practically everything
