very nice thanks for sharing! I have a question about the SLSA (these surfactants confuse me). Is that the one that is harmful, or is this one gentle/natural? I'm asking because some people want sulfate free shampoo and I have no idea how to do that with solid shampoo bars. Which one is the geltlest? thank you so much in advance for your help!

Hi, sorry for the very late response, I was moving house and didn't pay any attention to the channel.
Here is a link where they explain the difference and the problem with SLS and SLSA in detail. If you wanna make slsa free shampoos, check out the ingredients I used in the shampoo bars, you can find the ingredients either in the description or directly on Amazon.

@@waxhero8878 thank you =) I hope the move went well =) I actually bought Coco Glucoside (liquid) and another surfactant called sodium cocyl isethionate. Do you know if these would work too? And last question, I promise!!!! How do you know the proportions? IS there something similar to a lye calculator for soaps, for shampoo bars?
I find it so hard to find easy explanations of how to make solid shampoo bars. Either I can't find the ingredients, or they put so many...your video is awesome because it's so easy to follow so thank you!

Hello, I'm so late again sorry. 😳
I have not personally used those indegredients, I would check it out on TH-cam, there is always someone who has already tested it 👍🏻
I'm sorry I can't help you with the measurements. I remember with the powder it was 1:3 with Shea butter, but might be completely different with liquids.
      Have a good day

is it conditioning or drying on the hair? I was thinking maybe the cornstarch would dry up the hair.

If you have long hair, you definitely need a conditioner

Hi, yes they stay together until they are really small. Then they may crumble a bit.

These look great! How many hair wash can you get from one of the full bars? Thanks :)

Hi Jessica, thanks a lot!! I'm using one bar for about 4-5 weeks until they are smaller and then often break into two pieces. All together one bar lasts about 2 month. My hair is about shoulder length and I wash it every 2nd day 😉
