I was never a huge fan of Cait Sith in the OG, but I absolutely love how he's turned out in Rebirth. I just went through Shinra Manor yesterday, and cackled the whole time. I love every rendition of his theme we've heard so far.
@@Kagetora- To be fair, the aiming backwards to throw forwards part of it was kinda weird, and definitely made it a little annoying to aim with. If aiming worked normally, it probably would've been better received.
I love playing as Cait Sith, the way his Moogle walks, his dodging twirl, the way he attacks with the megaphone and how the Moogle just packs a wallop, the RNG dice; it just feels like im playing as Looney Tunes character in an action game.
What a bop. I was so ready for Rebirth to boost Cait Sith's rep in the general fan's eyes, but he's magnificent. Couldn't be happier with how they handled him.
I won’t spoil anything but there’s an even more epic version later in the game, when you hear it you’ll know. His theme can be summed up as “MhmmmmmmmMm.”
@@davidecarminati8730 SPOILER WARNING ‼️ When he saves everyone at the temple of the ancients right when you leave the black materia room, it’s a sped up action orchestral epic version I can’t seem to find anywhere else. There’s also his unique music when you’re only playing as him as well that is different than OG slightly and it’s not anywhere other than play through videos I cant find.
I think that’s been the greatest strength of the remake so far. Yuffie is more fun, Barret’s more interesting, cait sith. Basically all the characters I wasn’t that into in the og I’m much more into now. I feel like the clerith is lacking though. Probably because of their intentions with her and Zack…
@@farmingsim9813Someone from another FF7 Rebirth video mentioned that Cid is just being friendly because he's trying to give them quality customer service so as not to drive them away. He cursed a little bit, but it wasn't as much as could've. We'll probably hear him be more vulgar in part 3.
I got used hitting the switches but when it came to that machine you were supposed to time to throw a box in that was "Are you f****ng kidding me". And then we went to the elevator bonus stage and I got only 1 out of 10 haha
I personally think final fantasy 7 are the best of the best of the series, I never was a fan about this franchise before this remake, and also cait sith is the best ❤
I always viewed it as his way of escapism by playing as a much more carefree version of himself. He has a pretty stressful job in real life (I can totally relate)
At first yes, but once I learned how to play him he became part of my A team. If you beef up his luck stat and learn how to use his moogle to your advantage he’s naaaasty
I'd say he's not particularly weak, having an extra member who can draw aggro, even if just to allow you a chance to cast one spell, is pretty good. And with the potency of other parts of his kit? He's gold. Massive improvement over what he was doing in OG FF7. Edit: Maxed out most of his kit, he's even better than I described above, holy shit. Lucky Slots, if you can get the timing for it, is one of the best abilities in the game, and should always be his first action if you're confident with its timing to go for 3× Hearts. Landing 3× Hearts on the slots gives the party Reraise and Resist, with the former having an infinite duration until you die. There's also massively filling up the target's Stagger meter with 3× Bar as well, which is also really worth going for, IF you're confident at it. At least there are decent damage returns if you screw up the slots in the form of Cat Scratch. A couple thousand damage isn't bad. Then there's Moogle Magic, which is self explanatorily in why it's amazing. 1 ATB Summon is incredible, even if you only realistically have the opportunity to use it once due to how much drastically larger its charge time gets with each use. Moogle Knuckle, also top tier. 40% Stagger increase with each use is too good, especially with how hard it hits. The damage is great and really worth it for 1 ATB. Fortune Telling kinda is just a touch too inconsistent on Stagger vs Moogle Knuckle, but it's at least quicker. Moogle Kaboom is great for Colosseum fights with lots of enemies due to its massive blast radius and high impact. Too ATB intensive in combination with Dodge and Dive to be spammable on bosses though. And then there's the Limits, which are hands down just incredible. If you aren't playing Cait Sith, it is my opinion that you are missing out on the game's greatest character.
just realised it sounds like a SPY thriller theme.... clever bastards
Secret Agent Clank vibes

I can't believe people hate that segment or think it's hard, I had a blast with that part of the game. Absolutely love Cait Sith in this.

I was just smiling over how adorable and kinda goofy it was to control Cait Sith and the moogle in that area. It was so cute and I loved it😊

His theme doesn’t sound out of place in a James Bond movie. Fitting, given his initial role.
Always loved Cait Sith's design
So jazzy and sassy. Lupin's theme vibe indeed.
I can't get enough of this song lmao its too good

Easily the best character in Rebirth.

Given how much different Cid was portrayed in Rebirth than his original counterpart I'm sure we'll get plenty of time for Cid's character in part 3

Most improved character in part 2 by far. The only bad thing I can think of about him is the obnoxious box throwing section in chapter 11.

Something I’ve always wondered. Does Cait Sith have his own personality outside of Reeve?
