I made this out of complete boredom, and though I know probably no one will ever see this video. this video to me is like a thank you to calamity. ever since I started playing years ago I remember listening to the ost for the first time and getting hooked on it. I don't think I could ever explain the sheer amount of euphoria the calamity ost brings me and not to mention showing me to the absolute maestro that is dm dokuro. this motif in particular speaks miles to me, something about it has stuck with me for years.

I couldn’t possibly agree more, the Draedon’s motif feels like it’s impossible to get out of your head once it’s in there. It represents so much to me, and it represents the masterpiece that is calamity.
I 100% agree with both statements. It's always floating around in my head, Calamity has this sort of futuristic but also ancient lore and gameplay style, and they PERFECT it so well! I'm glad to be part of this community (well, the good side of it).

If you really think about it, draedon is the only one who’s been rooting for us to get stronger ever since we appeared, meaning that he has been the only person who has truly supported us since the beginning.

Its simple yet beautiful, its short yet meaningful, i just love it bro, its so sick showing the progression of a player getting one step closer and closer till one of the final boss this way.
Absolute beauty. The music adds so much while the player progresses. From wooden armor all the way to auric, slaying boss after boss, showing the progression you go through. Then you reach the cosmic engineer.
A short but incredibly cinematic experience that is also well-executed. Truly it is an artist's particular skill to capture and envision what all of us only felt.
Man! For such a simple concept, that hits different....
My only feeling is an odd sense of nostalgia, even though I'm still playing, it's what I feel after I finish a playthrough😢😢😐🙂
The first time i beat Draedon, i was really confused why the heck did i feel really weird that the way he talk to us was very not antagonist like
And then later i beat him again in infernum mod then this song plays after his defeat, making me question even more if this guy actually bad or not
Don't get me wrong, in the lore he is indeed bad with all of his experiment and stuff but remember that the only thing matter to him is his fascination in creation
That's why until now Draedon is the top 1 favorite character in calamity mod for me
Draedon is more like a Chaotic Neutral. Also, in my opinion, Calamitas is a True Neutral while Yharim is a Neutral Evil.
I have waited long for this moment.
Honestly I don’t know how to describe Yharim.
He certainly knows he fucked up, and that he’s now the villain

@@familyneves9777 I don't Yharim is evil in my opinion. All he really wants is to kill the gods, who committed genocide against the dragons to steal their power so they could become deities. Sure, he's done bad things, but who hasn't when blinded by revenge? I truly believe that he isn't the real villain of this narrative. An Antagonist, yes, but not the villain.
I have watched this video many times and all I can say about it - it's great.
I love how this video shows all the player's progress in building the Codebreaker.
I love the music that fits this video perfectly.
I love the visual of this video: shaders, final summoning, cipher that translates the background text (yes, i actually tried to translate this)

That's really one of the best Calamity mod video I've seen.
And yes! The Calamity ost is really very cool. That gives me a new breath, when I am listening it.

In the calamity mod they definitely aren’t great people, considering how many bosses they’ve slain, but consider, Draedon unleashed the jungle plague, killed hundreds with the mech bosses and with the EXO mechs, was pretty much the left - hand man of Yharim, and he also created the Astrum Aureus on accident. He still might be a better person than the player, but he’s still by no means a hero

This is why I have so many memories of games. Its just the beauty in ones video that make me fascinated as to how much would it take to, make them. I really am amazed as to how much the entire community can make more and more awesome mods, videos and music. Truly, a perfect game.
I want it to be canon that when Draedon left Yharim he said:
“If you truly want me to return you must visit all my labs, and take materials from around the world to create a machine to contact me. I want to know if you truly are in need of me and my knowledge.”
Bruh by adding the song in the background and that shader, making it looks like a fellow human trying to contact an old friend that was lost in space so this human start throwing shits into a device and somehow works
This is absolutely amazing. The progress through out the game, while also showing the build up to Draedon, its amazing. You can really tell that you love this mod, this is absolutely beautiful.
This video is so cool! It’s just feels so calming as well as suspenseful at the same time. Truly a masterpiece in all regards.

This is beautiful. It perfectly captures the journey of Calamity, and all of its nostalgia now that I've finished even Boss Rush on Death mode, and I love it for that- And the words in the background make it so much better.

for the foreground i turned off the fancy background in the settings so it was just pure blue sky then ultra keyed the blue out :)

I've always felt that Draedon should have always been the secret boss at the end of the game that is truly the final test. But I'm just simping for the robot man so idk, guess this is what happens when you make a excellent character.
