Hey Colleen, here is a tip that helped me quite a lot with insomnia. What you can try doing is first take some deep breaths in through your nose, hold them for a couple of seconds and breath out through your mouth. After you have calmed your breathing you can start focusing on every breath you take, you can count your breaths if it is easier for you. It really helps my brain shut down and falling asleep. It takes a lot of practice but it is definitely worth it. :) Also thank you so much for putting out videos every day. It really helps me to zone out for a while. :)
Ohhhh, Yesterday I had a dream about meeting her and covid ended and that she was pregnant with a baby girl but this time it wasn't hard for her. I think that if she comes to my country I would be the only one in that would love to meet her because in my country our first language is spanish , Even tho there are alot of bilingual schools I think that I am the only one that watch her videos. Maybe one day we could all meet her in like a zoom call or something!
I’ve never been pregnant, but I had an issue once with a gallstone that blocked my bile duct, which caused bile to back up into my system and my whole body itched so bad I didn’t sleep for three days. I was frantic, basically peeling my skin off I was itching so much. I can’t imagine that level of itchiness while pregnant. You’re a super hero, lady. 💜

Colleen since you can’t sleep I have done some research and a lot of people say to keep your phone out of your room cause it will tempt you to use it. Another thing that helps me is keeping a journal on your nightstand and just right down everything that you are thinking of. That way you clear you brain, BUT, don’t read it again cause I did that once and it just made me stressed again. Hope this helps! ❤️

37 weeks is full term. You gave birth a day or two “early”. This is not “sooo early”.. babies are born at 23 weeks and survive. Prematurity awareness is real people. 😔
I wonder if your experience with cholestasis had an affect on your skin picking problem? If itchy hands and feet are a symptom of choleostasis, it seems possible?
Cholestasis IS a huge deal. My nurse warned me of this early in my pregnancy. I was actually 30 weeks pregnant when Colleen was 36 weeks along and when she posted her vlogs I had a strong feeling she was dealing with this issue because of things she mentioned. I'm so happy baby boy Flynn was ok because it is quite serious and she had every right to be scared and crying.
