Any videos on the Jetta? Also when we had the snow storm this week I had off of school on Wednesday night and I went driving for fun down high way 10 and a few of the fire lane roads and my fwd Ford escape was ok but I do want to get a new daily a some point that will be more fun in the snow
That's a lot of wheels. I have lots of car parts stashed all over the place... garage (in and out of the car), basement, my home office, storage unit, etc... Probably you only start to accumulate tires when your project car is drivable... I'm only guessing on this though... But yeah snow tires on all 4 are pretty much mandatory on a RWD car in snow states... I had Michelin M+S tires on my S13 the first winter I had it, and I was getting stuck at plowed intersections it was so bad... trying to turn at any speed was scary and stopping was iffy at best... cop once gave me a ticket for not stopping for a light during a snow storm, but honestly if I had tried, I would have ended up right in the middle of the intersection... going through a bit late at 20 mph was far better than trying to stop... but anyway, snow tires made the car drivable again.
Tires are a game changer! I've really grown to be a tire nerd over the years and love finding good sets for each occasion since it truly makes a difference!
