- Tim Van Duyl from Camper Trailer of The Year 2023 asks Tim Chivers from REDARC his burning questions about the new TVMS Rogue, a vehicle management system that enhances REDARC's REDVISION range. The TVMS Rogue is part of the Total Vehicle Management System, designed to enhance functionality for caravans, campers, and four-wheel drives. The TVMS Rogue adds functionality and expands the system or can act as a central control system for RVs or vans. Switch on and off lights, inverters, air compressors and more remotely using this central system. With 40A across 10 channels, the unit handles analog to digital input and enables dimming of lights, turning on fans and other high-power appliances. The TVMS Rogue can be installed into an existing electrical system.
An ignition line from the car can control the appliances in a camper trailer, for example, when the engine turns off, the dust reduction system (DRS) can be switched on. Holding a switch on the main screen can brighten or dim a light, or press to switch it off. The TVMS Rogue is lightweight and compact and can be connected in parallel to create up to 20 different channels. What you can achieve is up to your creativity, for manufacturers or personal users to set up customised systems to achieve exactly what is desired.
Bluetooth connection allows visibility and control from the app on the phone, when paired with the Manager30 this also displays battery health information. The dual battery system can be expanded over time, starting with a simple setup and adding additional products to enhance functionality as you go. Hook it up to different types of sensors, including water tank level sensors.
Users can integrate signals from their tow vehicle, such as ignition or reverse, to influence the outputs of the system. Each unit undergoes extensive quality testing before going to market. TVMS Rogue is easy to set up and configure using an app on the phone. Customise, configure and label the system to seamlessly manage the lights, fans and other appliances in your camper or RV.

Can the TVMS Rogue with Red vision (Off grid Kit) be wired directly to a RedArc Inverter? I'm asking because I just bought the Off Grid Kit. Thanks.
How do we wire the rogue to the redarc 2000w inverter
Do you have an app for android so it can be used on a head unit?
Will the Rogue be able to communicate with the redarc shunt (BMS1230S3-SK).
Thanks for watching! No, however If you have the Rogue and the RedVision screen you can pair it with our new Smart Battery Monitor (BSEN500) to get battery information.
I notice you have a bundle on your site with both the TVMS prime and rogue together (with screen and 30). What is the advantage of this bundle
Thanks for watching! This bundle is perfect if you're looking for a high number of outputs. Paring the Rogue with the Prime doubles the number of output channels available (from 10 to 20), making it perfect for caravans or RVs.
disappointed you dont have a bluetooth shunt like victron, that simply can use a ph9ne app. and also the bcdc25 or 40 using BT. if one doesnt have the space or budget for a manager 30.
They just came out with one last week.
they do have a shunt but not water or dust proof
Can someone explain. If it’s 10x10amps and everything is on shouldn’t it be fused for max 100amps draw?
No mate its only rated to max output of 40 amp at once so can have 10 channels only can be up to max draw of 40 amp so everything channel on max 40 amp or have only a few channels on at a time that stays under 40 amp and just have the other channels wired but no on if large draw circuits
@@jamiewilliams7618 ahh k.
So I’m assuming if you turn everything on anything past 40amps and fuse will go?
