The 7 mewtwo is actually a vertical defect along the left edge between the edge and red line. I realized this after upload.

Thanks so much for your video! We're really glad you enjoyed your experience with TAG--having valued members of the Pokémon community, like you, make videos like this really helps us to improve!
To answer a few of your questions/concerns:
In terms of the 1st Ed, Charizard 1 (what a cool card by the way!) you didn't mention this in the vid, but just wanted to note the reason why there is only 1 defect noted on the map is because currently, when there are huge amounts of defects ie playwear, it is grouped by the system into a single severe defect on the map. We will be updating this to be making it clearer in the future!
In regard to the Mewtwo, usually when you click the View button on any defect, it box highlights the perimeter of the defect. In our last update we implemented a feature to make the Zoom flexibility more robust, and it introduced a bug which caused this feature to be turned off-- it will be coming back shortly! In terms of the severity of the defects, different aspects are taken into consideration: for example the length and depth of the defect and measured and taken into account when making the scoring deductions. More about the grading rubric and deduction severities can be found on our website in the Grading Rubric section.
Thank you again for your video, and we hope to see you sending more cards to be TAG'd soon!

I do think Tag can overtake the big 3. PSA & Beckett are both going downhill. CGC is so much busier now with everybody leaving the other 2, But also the defects and centering issues you have are issues with the card, they will bring down the grade, everyone thinks they have a 10 but it is not always that way, and i agree maybe talk with them about those issues, but don't put it out on the video, it brings down a company that is going to help the market.

Would argue tat SGC is better than CGC also.

@@casualgamer1991 I don't disagree, it's all optics in the eyes of everyone that grades there cards, I have used all of these ones including SGC, my son likes CGC because they are getting higher price point value lately than PSA in pokemon, not all cards but alot of them that he sent in.

I like the idea of computers doing the grading less chances of error besides not having the exact specs of the card & it's art work ..

I agree the proximity of the 5.5 and the 7 seems weird. Undervaluing the issue on the zard or overvaluing it on the mewtwo imo as well

Great submission and video. With regards to the centering on the Champions Festival card, it's showing that the Top to Bottom ratio is 43/57. So what this means is that the top portion of the border is narrower than the bottom border. If you combined the top and bottom borders, the top would be 43% of the total space, whereas the bottom would be 57% of the space. There's a centering tool on Edge Gradings website that you can play around with, if you take the photo you got from TAG you can upload and they can show you the border ratio. And because the criteria for a Gem Mint 10 is that both front edge ratios (left/right, top/bottom) is better than 55/45, the top/bottom borders unfortunately knocked you down to a 9. But that's about a strong as 9 as you can get. Great cards!

I have been seeing TAG at the Toronto Sports Card Expo for a few years now. They seem to be impressive, I think you wont be able to hide from certain defects that humans may look over. I think they are going to be working to get better. The slabs look and feel awesome to me also.

They are just coordinates on the card, not GPS coordinates.

They can’t detect dents so easy way to convert your PSA 6 into TAG 10 😂
