The dolls totally competed with each other, and I can’t recall anyone who ever bought a Taylor Swift over Hannah. I remember thinking Taylor was more beautiful than her doll and I think that also has a play in it. The face sculpt they gave her wasn’t very Taylor Swift who is pretty, it was kinda ugly.
The “tattoo” heart was on almost all of her early merch. Her first ever shirts that I can remember (2006-early 2008) had the tattoo heart looped around a guitar!
the fact that i knew like 90% of these outfits off the top of my head... god i truly had no hobbies other than going on the taylorpictures gallery and memorizing EVERYTHING back in 2009... also, for the sweater dress, the black one reminds me of something she wore on the i'm only me when i'm with you music video!
This video was immensely helpful in helping me confirm that the outfit my loose Taylor doll is in isn't actually from this line, though it is a nice blue dress that doesn't look far from something Taylor would've worn during her debut era.

Maybe the mystery dresses really weren't based off existing Taylor dresses, which would be why they were re-used for the 3.5 wave. Less legal issues to worry about.

From what I've been able to find the tour bus never was released, I've never seen a person post any images of it, and the designer of the bus said it was never released. I think the photos that website uses are just photos of the mock up product and not from a release

Oh my gosh, I can’t believe I didn’t know about these growing up! I was a big Swiftie from the jump, but I had no clue about the clothing line or the dolls. I would’ve killed for the Love Story or the Teardrops ones, those are super pretty! I was on eBay scrolling while watching this, but I think they’re out of my budget for now. I had and still have my Our Song doll. I remember seeing these in a very small middle section of the Hannah Montana/ High School Musical/ and Camp Rock section😅. Almost all of Taylor's accessories, shoes, and even earings were borrowed from Hannah. (Which Hannah's accessories were recycled Britney Spears products). Its hilarious how deep the Play Along - Jakks Pacific lore for these dolls goes. A ton of Hannah Montana dolls were actually cancelled, mostly the dolls for the movie in 2009 and the 2nd wave singing concert line, so finding out the Taylor tour bus was canned wasn't surprising to me, Even going into 2012 Jakks canned so many dolls for Winx Club as well, and those dolls did amazing when released, The singing dolls were the ones i actually saw being bought the most back then, mostly Our Song, Teardrops on my Guitar, You Belong with Me) i didn't really see Love story or Picture to burn fly off the shelfs often. Then again i was only 5 to 6 years old, but i have vivid memories of looking at these dolls in stores and loving them and the Hannah Montana line. Fun fact the 3rd varent of the pink doll with the pink and black top and skirt is literally wearing Lilys outfit from the Hannah Montana memorial moment line 😂😂....
i loved taylor swift when i was little but when i learned about her “dating” a minor and then later on dating a white supremacist it turned me off to her. her feminism just feels so fake and manufactured to get audiences to feel like she’s relatable and make them forget that she’s a billionaire that uses her private jet in place of a 30 minute drive. learning about how she is as a person behind her perfectly crafted brand image just made her music impossible to enjoy for me anymore.. but these dolls remind me of a time where taylor was actually just a girl and she wasn’t the person she is today and it’s very nostalgic to look back on a time where i could actually enjoy taylor swift
