What's up, guys! I hope all is well. I recently have been throwing the ringer for my "Berg" slot. Just a point-and-shoot approach disc. What do you think of it? Stay safe!
I came to show some love for all of the work you do on six sided's channel! I love the berg it will always be in my bag, ive tried other discs that i though would be similar, but always find myself back with the berg. One disc i though would take the berg spot was the loft hydrogen. 1 2 0 0 but it feels like absolute crap in my hand. Cheers
The ringer is a severely underrated disc. I throw it for everything under 280. And if I want up to 300 without a chance of going farther, on any angle, I throw a ringer. I currently bag 4.
If they work they work! But it's pretty noticeable that the ringer glides and gets off the original line way more. Your first berg shot was on a lot of hyzer and it still fell straight down. The ringers wont do that.
You’re 100% right. The ringer is my type of “berg” I guess because of my weaker forehand. I guess it isn’t actually the same flight, but it definitely replaced my berg with those little flick upshot’s
I knew you were gonna say ringer! Lol man I love that disc bro! Funny enough it’s my putting putter cuz I have really small hands it’s shallow but I use z flx glo for smooth approaches I have a BergX too but it’s just for windy putts and for 200-230 ft shots where I need the disc to die and not go too far
I think the Berg is meant to be thrown hard. If you power up on the Ringer that 4 or 5 glide will kick in and it sails. I have 6 or 7 pro d ringers that i only use for field work because they are great for feedback. I can straighten them out and even turn them over at about 280. No berg is doing that. Im not trying to hate on the video but i use the Berg because I’m terrible at putting and it always drops close to the bucket. Im enjoying your content and subscribe to the channel. I guess i just had a different take on this one.
I just realized I sound like those Berg people that will die/kill to defend it. 😂 This is not my intention. If you have the chance it would be cool to see you throw these same shots with an innova Animal. It’s slightly faster and has a little more glide than the berg but still drops. I throw mostly backhand so this may be why my experience is different. Thanks for the content !
I appreciate you. I wanna use the berg more often if I could really control the spin and not get so much wobble. Guess it’ll take some time for me to get used to it because the ringers glide definitely gets kinda crazy towards the end when you power up on it
Love newbies finding old ass discs and acting it’s some newness. We been throwing Ringers for 15 years fam.
Gotta let the newbies know about it then. Great disc for sure though 🥏
😅 he threw the berg better. I rest my case
Try a lone star dillo that’s what I use because of the more comfortable plastic and feel but the ringer is such an underrated disc great video.
Appreciate you ❤️

Berg taught me a forehand because of its torque resistance. I can now forehand any putter.
Good video, my wife and me like the berg because it gets to the ground quick.
Berg is a great speed regulator if you are still learning touch on approach shots.
Love these kinds of videos so much! I throw that exact same pink berg for those sit down and eat the ground shots it just does its job 😂

Dude it’s a cheat code for sure, I don’t mind the shallow rim either for putting!

Berg for me when a zone is too much disc.
