Hey buddy I've been watching everything you do on utube I can't thank you enough for the advice you give I'm a new carver started with Dremel a mth ago watching jody.and spirit then he mentioned you saw you bear video went bought chainsaw and did it just by watching you and it turned out great.someone came over saw it gave me 200 for it.boom I was hooked now a mth into chainsaw carving I'm at over 200 carves 35 saws and I'm loving it.im very new but I'm not afraid to just jump right in and do it learn as you go I can say.and most of your vids help out so much.ill post a pic of the bear and it's so hard to believe it was my first one but it was.just paying attention to what you do and how you do it was all I had to go on.away I'm Edwin I'm in Florida wood is not good down here just alot of pine and oak and all are new cut downs so cracking is hard to get around.one day I'll find good logs but till then I'm just using what I have.thanks again.

I clicked this video because in the thumbnail it looks like you’re having fun with the tiniest chainsaw in the world, not including battery powered, like one with an engine that runs on gasoline & oil. Now I’m gonna watch the video & see. I’ll let you know what I think. Bro! 😎

Thanks Ryan good tip. I just got a pickup load of cedar which is rotten in the center. I've been slicing the logs to cut the rot out, but I've been wondering if I should just leave the rot and use the round logs for bears and just forget about the center rot?

Hi Ryan, wicked informative video as usual! Thanks! I keep checking your website for that on line store... any plans in near future? Also was wondering where you get your hands on the Canon 8" dime tip? I have been searching for what seems forever and it's always sold out.

Could of used this video a couple weeks back. Lol I'm glad there is finally a video now with explanation on the feathers. I had to winged it on mine. Haha. Nice work!
I found it easier to work from the head to tail with the feathers. It gave me a better visual on how deep to layer the next set of row of feathers and made them swoop upwards.
