My fellow in-game friend taught me that he had spent about IDR 15.000.000 in DS3, maxing out almost every cars on it except the Bugatti and the CitroenGT. It's around USD 1080 according to today's currency

Feuerrm returning to asphalt 8 is already a good start to 2021
So are you gonna be recording videos for A9 and A8 like alternating between both of them?. Like persay, first u record vid for A9 then the next day for A8 and so on and so on.
You forgot to mention the Gauntlet Store, where you can buy PRO Cards, Wildcards, Boosters and Fusion Coins with the Badge Coins rewards after the week ends.
(10 items in stock per week similar to the Legend Store's 5 per refresh)
Also, you can't buy anything going into a new season until you set your first defense lap to confirm your League ranking.
Only downside is that because of the arbitrary garage-based ranking system, you can be locked out of buying certain rewards that require higher end Cars even if those Cars are in your garage (see previous paragraph for added reference 👆).
My garage has me ranked locked in Champions League even though I have all the Class-S Festival Kings, though they're all at low rank, so I can't buy Gold PRO Cards or Gold Wildcards to upgrade with. 😌
So farming MP Cups is my only option for Gold Wildcards.

I quit A8 when they made tuning kits Fusion Coins only back in March 2020 and I quit A9 a few months ago because I wasn't enjoying the game anymore. I wonder if I should go back to either one of them 🤔

I stumbled on your old A8 content, and loved all of it. Then when I saw you were only focused on A9 as of however long, I lost interest. I mildly enjoy A9, but for me A8 is where it is at. I feel like GL has learned (for A8) that you attract more bees with honey, seeing how they are giving more fusion coins, upgrade cards, good cars and all that nowadays. Im not a naïve optimist, I realize GL is just trying to find the best way to make money, but hopefully they keep going on this track with the game, making it more friendly to players. IMO it's a win-win. The easier it is to get players to jump into the game and get good stuff, the more people that will be sucked into it, and aim to do better in gauntlet and MP (which statistically speaking, will mean more people investing money in the game).
So, overall, happy to see you're having a look at the game again, and hyped to see more A8 content.

Both of the filler ones have to be decently fast. If you can memorise the track and how many seconds it takes to get to them you can arrange the order for each car to do best on. For example Sector 8:
It takes around a minute to get around to the curve so I put my good Accel car for the start, the handling filler car for the many ramps and start of the tunnel section, the all around good car for the end of the tunnel and the start of the half loop, the top speed oriented for the jumpy bit near the end and the good handling car for the final curve.

Festival events is better than the driver syndicate. Is not a opinion, is a fact. I already unlocked the Bugatti Chiron and upgraded with the cards I had. While at the DS, I still upgrading the BMW I8 to the required rank. Except the required rank is a max one star
