MRI OF RIGHT SHOULDER (NON CONTRAST STUDY) MRI of Right shoulder has been performed using T1W, T2W, PD & STIR sequences in multiple planes.
Imaging Feature:-
Moderate joint effusion noted..
Presence of diffusely infiltrating T2/ PDFS hyperintense lesion with edema seen involving humeral head, neck and proximal 1/3rd shaft. Focal cortical thickening and periosteal reaction noted. Presence of periosseous soft tissue (max thickness ~ 3.4 cms) noted involving proximal humeral shaft and neck region extending into adjacent myofascial planes.
The suprasinatus, infraspinatus, subscapularis and teres minor tendons appear normal.
The rotator cuff interval appears normal.
Anterior & Posterior labrum appear normal.
The acromio-clavicular joint appears normal. No evidence of bony or soft tissue impingment is seen.
The bicipital tendon appears normal in position and signal intensity.
Comments: MR Finding are S/o- Moderate joint effusion noted.
• Diffusely infiltrating T2/ PDFS hyperintense lesion with edema seen involving humeral head, neck and proximal 1/3rd shaft. Focal cortical thickening and periosteal reaction noted.
