Hi sir, Please help me out. Case of my father. Post cholesystomy, doctors found adenocarcinoma, cystic duct positive in HPE report and given TNM grading as pT2bNxMx. For confirmation I've given blocks and slides for HPE again in other hospital and found Xanthogranulomatous cholecystitis. Now doctor is saying to take another opinion. May i know why the reports are contradicting. What's your suggestion on this?

Even some well known hospital also rule out biopsy test,like one of my relative had a kind of lesion in liver,but to ascertain whether the tumor is benign or cancerous biopsy was needed,the doctor only told that biopsy might be risky,as the tumor might spread,so the doctor told him to undergo MRI scan of abdomen,as MRI scan is enough to diagnose whether the mass or lesion is cancerous or non cancerous, after MRI scan it was confirm that tumor was cancerous, then the doctor did radio frequency ablation in the liver tumor,he is fine now and is leading a healthy life,yeah but the doctor has told him to undergo screening test every 6 months
