Cruise Control is absolutely brilliant, sometimes you need to sit up straight or relax your hands, us old guys still love to ride, this absolutely helps!! Thank You Kawasaki!!!
@@nickn7939 The zx10r most likely beats its off the line but the supra catches up since doesn't matter how fast a bike is the displacement practically restricts top speed. which is why even with the speed limiter removed the zx10r still cant keep up with the H2 since the supercharger adds more displacement of air and fuel.
As Chris fondly puts it accross , Kawaski draws the line between being too technical and giving the rider a smooth ride on the track 🔥 - Great review Chris
Chris, I really like your reviews!! It is quite staggering the difference it makes that you are a proper racer. You talk about what we riders on the real world wanna hear. Not nerdy techy crap!! I’ve been a fan since you joined “Superbike magazine” loooooooonng time ago...cheers from Australia 🍻🍻👌🏻👌🏻🇦🇺🇦🇺
My first was a ZX-6R (2003-2004 model). It was very uncomfortable on the road, but the thrill of acceleration was amazing. I wish I could afford a bike like ZX-10R now. It seems amazing.
Chris is a superlative rider and presenter, he's got that great "biker you meet on the pub car park" relatable persona, combined with a full on professional rider ability. Great review on this Kwak.. 👏 top notch Bike World.. excellent quality as always. 😉👍👍👍👍
Chris is someone who know what he's talking about, an experienced rider who not only reading the brochure like most, and he's obviously love motorcycle. that's why we enjoy his review
I think the ZX10R would have been a cool Inline4 to pair with your S1000XR 😎. The learning curve of the engine wouldn't take as long. I think the Speed Triple RS you ended up with was cool also though. Keep up the post on your channel 👍 Can you do a Long Term Tire review on your S1000XR also?
i am only 4mins in and you are a great man with knowledge and riding ability and that's exactly who should be doing such reviews, 9mins in and your walking the walk and talking the talk, giving us the straight facts and shedding light on Kawasaki's motivations for building this bike and why, and doing some sick riding, ok finished watching, man you made some good comparisons with other manufactures bikes and gave honest criticisms and rode that sucker like there was no tomorrow. Ok, I am a Kawasaki devoted rider from a lifetime starting from 16 years old to now and I'm 64 years old I'm on a ZX10R 2005 model and ride every day but hearing your valued input and honesty I will look for any other review that you do. So I thank you. I subscribed
"Look, it's a balloon!" 😂 I really like these "wings"! Much better integrated in the bike design, than those other pieces of plastic floating around at the bike side.
Chris this was yet another top review on how a bike actually feels to ride, not just a list of specs. Awesome editing, amazing skill on the track getting squirrelly under brakes, wheelies out of the corners, pushing the bike to the limit all for our entertainment! Oh and the comment ‘look a hot air balloon’ classic Chris humour... Keep up the excellent content, great work!
Such a great journalist, entertaining personality and so natural. Majority are very knowledgeable but they're like robots with no personality at all, not engaging at all. Great content!
great review - love your relaxed 'rider's view' style, and I love the look of the new ZX10R - I had a 2012 model, wish I'd kept it really - great bike !
Me too! 😎 I really like the front end that many people find ugly. It seems to be a bike with a design that you love or hate. At least it doesn't go unnoticed. 😁
Proud owner of the last gen. Bought over a beemer and a Ducati.my first litre bike also and what a bike, smooth, smooth and smooth then you fit some pipes into it and it just explodes, pops and keep your teeth grinding while you smile like a hooligan. I just dig their engineering and it is comfy on top of it all (as far as super sport bikes are comfy). I presume the new one is only better. Chris’s your content is just above the rest, but you knew it :}
Had to part with my ZX-10R Gen 4 last year but loved it and had a hoot with it on track. Back on my old 1KRR 04 which still gives me smiles as it heads to 100k kms on the clock. Was wondering watching this how the new one stacked against the Gixer 1K and lo and behold, Chris fills me in. Good, no B.S. review and some good riding there too. I like the fact that although it has all the electronics, Kawasaki has opted to keep it simple. Then there is the Euro 5 stuff, wonder if it is as easy to work with as the Gixer is....
Love the no cheese waffle!!... Amazing review, I mean, just seeing the ZX10 squirming its way into a corner under heavy breaking makes me want to go and do a track day!! So Chris, the ZX10, or the GSXR? ;-) I cannot wait for the next review whatever that may be! Love it! My fave Bike channel by far!!
Hi Chris, thank you for the honest assessment of the Kawasaki Ninja 10R...it is refreshing to listen to from a rider with your ability. God bless. Frbjr 😎🏖️🇺🇸🍀☘️
I would love to see onboard stuff where Chris speaks about what he is feeling while riding. would make the videos longer and more chris stuff is always better than less. :)
man i like your bike reviews, you do a great job. I have this bike an absolutely love it, however these US versions are heavily restricted, there is no ecu flash available yet but i hope one is coming soon!!!
Grrrrrr! I have to see if I can get a test ride on this thing now......... I used to think the old one didn't turn. Felt too long. Could never pin down why, but looking back after listening to your review, I bet the flatter bar on the new one will help it. I have a zx-6r, a 2013. Fantastic bike, and always feels shorter, easier and more natural than even the lightest liter bikes I have tried. And still plenty fast for any pace I'll ever ride. But I'm not getting any younger, and I do feel I should perhaps bite the bullet and experience one of these new techfest wonder-liters while I still can. "Easiest of them all to just hop on and ride" sounds like music to my ears, compared to bikes which have to bundle 2 years worth of introductory computer science material with their user manual. And coming from near 8 years on a trouble free zx-6, I like Kawasaki. Love the screamer scream as well! I don't expect the liter engine will reach quite the 16000rpm high C that 600s do, but they still sound great, even a step or so down.
The aesthetics on this one are understandably quite subjective, but I gotta say, its one of those which you have to see in person to truly get what it's all about. When I first saw pictures, I was more than just skeptical, I was disappointed in the new styling, and the fact they didn't change the ugliest rear section of all litre class bikes. But when I saw the bike in person for first time, I fell in love instantly
This bike is a monster. I think I’m a Yamaha guy personally, but holy fuck this thing slammed out sounds like a fucking fighter jet on the street. Definitely makes your adrenaline fucking fire
Nice review, made my mind up for me. I was going for the H2 2018 MODEL but now I have seen this I have changed my mind. I would get this instead. Thank you.
Once this bike gets a proper ECU flash, pipe etc. it’s going to be interesting how it stacks up against heavy competition...Imagine, stricter euro emissions and same hp?
I am not a real kawa fan but this bike looks astonishing ... just the red accents should be purple and it would have the old school Kawasaki colors which I love from my childhood when I saw bikers riding through the streets 👌🏼👌🏼
Chris, in the past you owned a GSX-R1000R, had a chance to watch your video. What is the difference between both bikes for tracking? A friend of mine owns a Kawasaki which to me felt like a cow! I own a 2020 GSX-R1000R, my bike also has held bars. My thought riding the canyons in San Diego, the Kawasaki felt like a long reach and not as agile as my GSX-R1000R. Grant you the Kawasaki is a very smooth engine but felt big compared to the GSXR. What is your thought on the 2 bikes. Do you still own your GSX-R1000R? Thank You
I believe zx10r is one of the most reliable super bike , it cost a lot less , Feels great on the road , if vanity is not your priority , get this amazing machine Stock exhaustis pretty good but I will surely change those wheels to carbon fibre wheels
Chris you are the best, focusing on the riding experience and not the bling bling.
Cheers!
This is not true

Not blowing smoke up your arse, seriously the best reviews on the net.
totally agree
Yep for sure, only one I watch.
Cheers!
It’s really not true
The ZX10R continues to be my favorite motorcycle. So thankful I have a 2018 ZX10R; amazing machine!
is it faster than your supra? I'm guessing thats your toyota since ur username is 755hp.

Glad i made the right choice with this bike....ive not ridden on track yet, but the road manners are impeccable. Great review as always Chris!
Tried ordering one 2 days ago but they're all sold out :-/
The autoblip sounds pretty amazing. I want one, but also want a S1000RR, and a RSV-4, and a GSX-R1000R, and.... Amazing bikes these days.

I'd say one thing. You can get old with a Kawasaki.
