OC: My third bike was a '13 ZX-10r, which served as my daily commuter for a while. It would be hypocritical for me to criticize anyone for riding this bike on the streets, as I've done so myself in the past. I've kept mine for sentimental reasons, but now I only take it out occasionally on back roads. Some time ago, I embraced naked bikes and have been commuting on them since.
Honestly the ON - OFF Seems normal. Almost like there is a direct connection from the hand to the throttle bodies themselves. People under estimate how much manufacturers work to smooth out your inputs for you.
Throttle twitch is definetly tune issue. I own 2023 KRT edition, stock. No issue with throttle. I'm 6'3 and have no issue with seat and ''comfort''. Yes its a beast, but yes you can manage the power if you being responsible and smart once you on the road. I commute a lot with it and have no problem being in the city or filtering. Gas indicator would be nice, but owning a bike without one you learn how far you can go till you need to stop to top up, I do it often without even waiting for gas indicator. It become natural. Only issue I had so far is quickshifter. I dont know if it was my own fault or had a faulty quickshifter, but it ''died'' and it wasnt pleasant. It started doing his own thing after 2gear or up till it completely disabled itself. BE safe and good speed!
I have a ‘24 ZX10R. I have the M4 Tech 1 titanium half system, a sprint air filter, and it was dyno tuned by Chris Moore back in September. No throttle issues. My only negative if you want to call it that, is the downshift is a little rough. Other than that, it’s an absolute monster and I love it.
Sounds like you got an odd tune, my 10RR is as smooth as silk. Grip with your knees. By far the most comfortable literbike. Lose a few pounds, then you won’t be slouching around with all of your weight on your wrists. 😎
Gotta disagree, the s1000rr and the gsxr hold the titles of most comfortable liter bikes. The zx10 is close though, and they’re absolutely awesome looking as well!
OC: Having been a Kawasaki Stan when I owned a ZX6R, I completely understand the vibe a Kawasaki supersport gives off. I've rode just about every 600cc supersport from Japan aside from a GSX6R and if you can deal with the rider triangle on them it won't be any different on a ZX10R. Now if you're roughly 6'4" like me then yeah the rider triangle can be a pain, but it's the price you pay for the ability to go to infinity and beyond with a twist of your wrist. That said it be a pass for me as anything with 200hp+ be such a pain to ride on the streets daily. Not to mention being a top notch cop magnet and with that exhaust they'd be camping out hoping to catch you speeding to give you that fattest of the tickets. Also as a track bike I think you'd definitely have to put the ZX10R on a diet.
@AP-wu1rv You could fit on a ZX6R. But I'd advise getting some aftermarket rear sets so it'll adjust your lower half to make longer rides more comfortable and not feel so cramped up. I had to get aftermarket rear sets because I would spend hours riding in the mountains.
The Honda CBR’s are some of the lightest in class. The RR-R SP Fireblade is 445 lbs wet and the regular RR is 427 lbs, aka nearly 600 weight… the R1 is 445 lbs, as is the GSXR1000R… the ZX10R is heaviest in class of the Japanese big 4.
i have a 24 ZX10 with the same M4 exhaust, havent got it tuned yet, i never had those twitchy throttle sounds before i put on the exhaust. i think something with the way its manufactured might be causing it
I actually had a choice between this and 2021 Kawasaki ZX6R, both in the KRT edition. I went with the ZX6 for the most vain reason ever, I just liked the headlights more. The ZX10 looks like a neanderthal, and after riding it I understand why cause that thang is awesome, but the ZX6 is just as usable on the street so I don't think it was too much of a downgrade. Also I didn't like the TFT display on the ZX10, the ZX6's gauge cluster was just so much better to me, and you get a gas gauge
Sounds like it’s in sports mode, no matter what mod you choose. When I first got a tune on my previous 21 MT-09 that’s how they tuned it. I took it back to get it updated so it worked in all modes. Maybe something to find out if you know who tuned it.
Something wrong with it,,,my 23 krt is not jerky like that. Maybe i am use to it and dont notice it, but the throttle does have slack in it..If u have cruise control on u, twist the throttle forward to disengage or tap the brakes..thats probably y it was traded in,, I got about 7200 miles on mine. I dont like the slack in the throttle but its definitely not twitchy...wheelie control and traction control are integrated into one.. turn off traction control and wheelie control is off also....
Had a 2022 zx6r that did the exact same thing. I was told it was actually an emissions thing from factory? But it’s sad it seems like tunes didn’t make it go away. It actually made throttle control on track very difficult. Coming off brakes and onto gas coming into a turn it would throw the bike off every single time
@please attend a track day and tell me how using the breaks works out at full angle in a turn. All of your breaking should be done BEFORE a turn, and you want to be back on throttle before or right as you tip in. This helps you use the engine to balance out the gyro effect and lean angle. Ever see someone on a street take a turn too fast and hit the brakes too late and it stands the bike back up and they shoot across the other lane? 9/10 times they would have made the turn if they just got back on the throttle and leaned harder.
Purposely revving any motor into the rev-limiter is a sonic spectacle of behavior, especially when a fellow owner of the abused machine says, sure, go ahead. I'm going to sell it anyway.
City riding for somewhere in GA ? No. I use to live in San Diego, this bike would’ve been perfect. I had a ZX6R and I could get to work on the Island in 20min.
I have a 2021 Zx10 and owned for 2 years now. It has always had that throttle issue before and after the tune. It’s a compromise for cruise control unfortunately
You know one thing about that bike you riding I’ve seen it beat the Hayabusa so many times it’s not even funny. That’s a powerful ass bike but the throttle problem it meals out when you get back to to what specs you looking for or whoever the tuner technician is tuning the bike to will fix the throttle and problem
OC: Would never buy this floor street use. No gmfuel gauge, the seating position would kill my knees and for that price I can get an army of minis which I can go out with my friends and legitimately run to their limit.
This was my dream bike until I came across the MT-10. The position on the MT feels better for me being a taller rider. ZX 10R is still a dope bike to me though. Side note I saw the revzilla link for your gear. What are the brand for those Hi-Viz gloves you got on? Need to pick some up
OC: I'd buy one in black. I have nothing to lose lmao. In all seriousness I just think it's cool, but a ZX4-R makes WAY more sense for both track and street riding.
Hey Chase...I really like you and your videos. I'm going to stop promoting you and watching if you don't stop using the Lord's name in vain. Please stop saying JC and GD. Thanks brother!. You're better than that.
It’s definitely a bad tune I have that 22 and my throttle is butter

Throttle is absolute butter on my 24!! It was actually one of the main reasons I bought it after my first test drive!!
10:10 It probably has a Moore Mafia tune and that's why it's so twitchy.
All power, 0 fucks for smoothness lol
Honestly the ON - OFF Seems normal. Almost like there is a direct connection from the hand to the throttle bodies themselves. People under estimate how much manufacturers work to smooth out your inputs for you.
That but also it seems like he was punching the throttle a bit much just to show it on video.
Id buy it just to put into my family room just as a show piece .. kawi hit it out park looks

For sure it’s the tune. Mine is not tuned and I have no problem with the throttle at low speed.

Took 2 years to do first ride
😂

I picked up a 2025 ZX10R and stock - throttle is butter.
Gotta disagree, the s1000rr and the gsxr hold the titles of most comfortable liter bikes. The zx10 is close though, and they’re absolutely awesome looking as well!
True, he walked like he was watching his feet. Real slouch.
I’m looking at a zx10r. Imma send you a year and I need you to respond on what you know

They be camping outside for me and I'm on a baby Ninja 300 with an sc exhaust...
Well thank you for flying eyes...looks like a cool and useful sunglass for bikes
Needs a 2 Wheel Dynoworks tune 😉
The Honda CBR’s are some of the lightest in class. The RR-R SP Fireblade is 445 lbs wet and the regular RR is 427 lbs, aka nearly 600 weight… the R1 is 445 lbs, as is the GSXR1000R… the ZX10R is heaviest in class of the Japanese big 4.
Exactly. Now sure how he came to the conclusion of "fireblade is the heaviest"
Thank you SO MUCH for incorporating THIRD PERSON POINT OF VIEW!! So many channels only show 1st person pov. It’s nice to be able to see the ergos
Great starter bike! /s
But for real, such a beautiful bike! Can't wait to get mine!
I have 2024 zx-10r tuned. Throttle didn't do that before or after tune. Something wrong with that bike or the tune.
It has wheelie control. It's integrated into traction control like triumph does
Adding Block off plates via AIS delete helps to heal that twitchy throttle if theres a tune already on the bike.
That intro montage 🔥
use mine daily, road use, and its extremely comfortable, also that issue sounds like the tune, my 24 doesnt do that
You should do sports announcing
AWESOME! can you do the new ZX-6R also?😊
i have a 24 ZX10 with the same M4 exhaust, havent got it tuned yet, i never had those twitchy throttle sounds before i put on the exhaust. i think something with the way its manufactured might be causing it
my 24 zx6r does that same on off thing with the throttle. its a kawi thing
Waiting for a New ZX-6R video my friend wants one
Kawasaki’s look so good!
Ayeeeeeeeee that's my dealership!!!
THOSE GUYS ARE AWESOME SHOUT OUT TO GLEN!!!!

And yes it’s definitely the tune. Fueling doesn’t sound right when you’re at lower steady rpm’s.
The flying eyes sun glasses are nice but 227 euros is crazy

I have the same cruise control throttle movement on my 2016 Multistrada and it has no problem with jerkiness.
ninja 1000sx/1100sx review when? 😊
Far more practical bike for the road.
Love my 1000sx!
I sat on that at WOW's last Bike night
soundtest happens,me: "urrrrrgggggghh yuuuuh I need a tissue just had a eargasm"
I sat on one of these at the dealership and my back hurt for 2 weeks
U playing with it,,,u didn't even open it up 😂😂😂😂
Put rear sets problem solved! It's a nice comfortable bike!
Has you done the zx4r?
Ride by wire mapping. I bet the tuner didn’t touch the stock map for the ride by wire. I know 2015-2016 r1 was that way.
Tune issue, happened with my 2014 gsxr 1000. Took it to a shop, they went through and retuned. Never happened again.
1:32 me: volume up, volume up!
my 2024 zx10r with bt tune and m4 exhaust is not twitchy like that.
Also if you change the rider mode from sport to rider 1 I bet that puts a different tune on it. So you may have been riding it with a stock map.
The IMU will keep the front wheel down on accelerations. Was it engaged?
KTRC*

You're not supposed to be on the gas going into a turn.

New ninja 300...
Review soon bro 🙏
i have a 650 and the throttle does that aswell
None of us can handle this power?? Perfect
He said none off you can handle this power 😂😂😂😂😂 broth you ride like grandma 👵
I’d love to see a ninja 500, or 4rr
Beautiful except the green windscreen
All the specifics of that bike…mine is smooth as ever 2022 zx10 25,xxx miles
Riding SS are only uncomfortable if you have bad bones. I feel uncomfortable sitting upright on motorcycles. I can't be the only one.
Its a matter of getting used to it, a commuter will feel comfortable eventually on any bike
6:06 how do you get that camera angle what do you use?
He does 2 runs with the bike, 1 with the car by his side just filming B rolls and the other (his pov) is just him talking about the bike
That screen is hideous.
Got a ‘24 ZX-10R. Brilliant bike
Can you do Ninja 1000sx
Debate between Ducati Panigale V2 and this ZX10R: similar cost and features. Which one should I go for guys?
Nice 👍
voice sounds different in this. like chase is trying to sound much more serious haha. maybe has something to to with the micing
Why dont we see alot of kawasaki
OC: No to the ZX10. I’m too old now.😖
1000sx then brother!
what's up with Chase's low pitch voice in this video?
Why do people in America always ask to wear ear plugs when the actual solution to the too loud bike issue is the db-killer?
db-killer doesn't get rid of wind noise. Wind noise will damage hearing as well.
@@colticus But the people in question will go deaf by the pipes before wind noise can do its harm.
@@Daniel-dj7fh Doesn't matter. BOTH are very bad for hearing.
Purposely revving any motor into the rev-limiter is a sonic spectacle of behavior, especially when a fellow owner of the abused machine says, sure, go ahead. I'm going to sell it anyway.
The throttle issue is definitely because of a bad tune/ecu flash.
Purchase but the 25version
I would also think that with a bike that powerful, you could stay in 1st and chill through the city because ninjas dont do high gear and low speed.
No, it is not a compromise for cruise control. Something is going on with emissions. Cruise control doesn't give a shit about throttle response.
Jeez that exhaust is such a cop magnet. Sounds good though....
forgot to edit the video 2 yr ago?
1:30 who's the guy at the bottom left
Every modern Kawasaki with Ride-by-wire throttle does the SAME THING, I can imagine the tune in exaggerating it though.
not true. I own a zx4rr which has ride by wire and it was not like this before or after the tune. Always was smooth.
No passenger seat???
You know one thing about that bike you riding I’ve seen it beat the Hayabusa so many times it’s not even funny. That’s a powerful ass bike but the throttle problem it meals out when you get back to to what specs you looking for or whoever the tuner technician is tuning the bike to will fix the throttle and problem
That throttle thing is a weird throttle breaking thing Kawasaki put in that bike. It can be turned off in the menu.
Oho a greed windscreen, something different
Turn signal delete lmao, how dumb
Bro, wtf is with that exhaust. In Europe this would never be legal :D WTF
It could just be a Kawasaki thing…. Even my 400 does that lol
I feel like it's kinda nonsensical to review a bike that's used and tuned. How is that even comparable to a stock bike?
OC: Would never buy this floor street use. No gmfuel gauge, the seating position would kill my knees and for that price I can get an army of minis which I can go out with my friends and legitimately run to their limit.
Floor? Kawasaki's have fuel gauges
@sbeast1216 for* but this one does not.
@@Smallbore2wheelsit has a fuel consumption readout that, for me, was better than a fuel gauge. Just have to reset every time you fill up.

This was my dream bike until I came across the MT-10. The position on the MT feels better for me being a taller rider. ZX 10R is still a dope bike to me though.

Chase on 2 sulfur gas bottles
I love Kawasaki but their build quality feels subpar at times
Chase sounds so different in this video, almost ai
Funnily it becomes normal at the walkaround in the church lot
If you touched the exhaust you will have tune problems.
Not a sport bike review riding down the interstate
I wouldn't I am not that good of a rider, maybe if I was in the first world and could get the training for it
OC: I'd buy one in black. I have nothing to lose lmao.
In all seriousness I just think it's cool, but a ZX4-R makes WAY more sense for both track and street riding.
So what I get from this video is that you don’t like the throttle.
Hey Chase...I really like you and your videos. I'm going to stop promoting you and watching if you don't stop using the Lord's name in vain. Please stop saying JC and GD. Thanks brother!. You're better than that.
I can't afford one until I have lots of money. I'd buy it. ride it once. then mount it on the wall.
get moore mafia chris moore ecu tune fix that make smooth and faster ,, best
It probably already has a Moore Mafia tune and that's why it's so twitchy.
What's wrong with your voice? and yeah its a bad tune. BTmoto is a smoother tune
