To be fair, we haven't actually seen neither Khom or Baiboon cross any lines. Sure, they're looking at each other and being bashful about it - but they haven't acted on it. So for now, it is just an inappropriate crush.
What I appreciate here (if I have understood it right from comments) is the fact that Khom is 100% aware of it being inappropriate (and illegal in the novel, since he's 15 in it) so he doesn't push it in any way. He is not grooming Baiboon. He does become a little stalkery as a part of his job and possesiveness, but he never crosses the line of engaging with him before he is actually in collage, of legal age and able to consent.
Yes the nonsensical “Evil Ex” as if we didn’t get enough with Cherry! If a trope doesn’t work once try again I guess.😂
The one thing I miss being the only person in my house that likes East Asian dramas let alone BLs, is no one to discuss things with. Plot holes, bad editing, bad kissing, good passion, good/bad product placement. I thoroughly enjoy your comments almost as much as just listening to your voice.

We saw Evan once 47 episodes ago, without much eexplanation, but Danil is new. Also, Danil would be Kamol's adoptive uncle, so I am hoping he was at least adopted as an adult and not groomed. But at this point...
My fave things about this series are our office girls, and Kim and Baiboon's dynamic, so this was a great episode for me. Also, after 50 years out of office (the exaggeration! I die!), did Kim just go in for one day and then start planning a vacation with Kamol.
The weird thing about Baiboon is that we never see him in a uniform. If we saw the uniform, it would be immediately obvious which level of school he is in. At this point, I feel like they must be doing it on purpose, whether it is a budget thing, or whether they wanted to age him up, but not anger the book purists.

In that first Danai/Cherry scene, all I could think was, 'Well, clearly Cherry is not happy, she's wearing tiny earrings.' Wth, costume department, where are the hubcaps?

You know what when they do the close up on the tiger, i dont its a real tiger. I think its a stuffed animal for safety purposes. That's why the tiger looks stoned.
I popped in to see how your reactions to this series were going. Boy are you having fun with it. lol From the trailer I actually was looking forward to it, so that made the disappointment even worse for me I guess. It was actually fun to watch with your commentary throughout. Love the drinking game as well. lol Ai Long Nhai was another series I had high hopes for from the trailer that just turned out to be a disappointment to me, in the same way as this one. I think my issue is, I need to stop watching trailers so my expectations aren't raised beyond what the show is.
3:00 everytime I see this scene I remember of that Zoolander meme clip, even the song starts playing in my head: "if you see us in the club~"

I swear, the unnecessary repetitions in the script. On the phone: 'Only I and Kom were hurt.' A minute later Kim/Kamol in person: 'Was anyone else injured?' 'Only I and Kom were hurt.' After Danil has left, Kamol to Kom: 'Have someone watch him.' 5 minutes later Kamol to Kom about Danil: 'Have someone watch him.' We got it the first time! It's like the writers are students trying to pad out the word count on an essay.
I've found with many of the series, the subtitles aren't completely accurate. My guess is the lines were probably different in Thai, but similar enough to just use the same translation in English. That being said, I didn't go back and listen carefully to the actual lines in Thai to see if they were in fact just repeating them in this instance.
Does the mafia here seem weird to anyone? Normally, the mafia feels like there is the family and then the businesses and the crime exist to support and protect the family. But there does not seem to be a "family" on Kamol's side, not in the mafia sense, so it feels like their criminality kind of stems from being legitimate businessmen. And I feel like if legitimate businessmen were going to do this sort of stuff, they would hire hitmen and not turn up themselves and risk arrest.
So many plot holes in the storyline indeed.
One, from what I understand from the book (that was mentioned by fans, not that read it myself) Kamol and Kom were from the same orphanage, that's why Kamol chose Kom as his right hand.
And I think they tried to make it look like the mafia family from History3 Trapped, where Tang Yi is on the way to legitimate all of his business.
Sorry to say, lots of people been saying that Kamol's actor look very similar with Billy Patchanon. But I have to say this: even though they have similarities in look, there's stark differences between the acting skill and the chemistry with the partner. Which I can proudly say, Billy WON, big time too. Billy and Seng would win in all categories if they were to be competed with KamolKim's actor. And I'm not sorry at all saying this.
