In the novel Charloton isn’t evil. He just wants to get Tharn out of the repetitive cycle of dying for Phaya in every lifetime. And because he believes he loves Tharn too. In the novel he finally gives up because Tharn’s Naga sister is pregnant with his child and realizes he cares for her too. But he plays one last trick on Phaya, by convincing Tharn to see his sister for three days in the naga realm. Time runs differently and Charloton took advantage that present Tharn doesn’t realize that and follows along without telling anybody because it’s just three days. Three months later after everyone has been frantically looking for him, he reappears and reunites with Phaya.
Saint is supposed to be Phaya’s brother from when he was a Garuda. He appeared earlier and more in the novel and is one of the reasons Charloton couldn’t get Tharn back easily

I love all the characters but man, Yai really took my entire heart, when he reunited with his wife, I was bawling my eyes out. Also, the whole Khem situation also had me confused, I was literally like ?????????? 🤣🤣

Since it seemingly took a very long time for Tharn to convince Charloton to let him go to Phaya, I agree it would've been nice to actually see some of that.

If you look at Phaya Tharn's bulletproof vest, you'll know there's a chance Khem will be shot. Phaya is easiest to recognize because he wears white underneath.
Bulletproof vests only protect the middle, and the shoulder area has no protection. Khem wasn't the one standing there in the first place, there was no guarantee the bullet would hit the bulletproof vest directly. If the perpetrator knows the opponent has a bulletproof vest, the bullet's line of sight will be deflected and no longer focused in the center. Can shoot directly at Thongthai's head or feet. Now looking at Khem's situation, the bullet hit him at shoulder level.

I loved this series and regard it as a new BL masterpiece and has set a new high standard for all future BLS. They did an awesome job mixing up all the various genres and will truly miss seeing this. I would have liked to have seen Chart get a redemption arc as he did a lot of behind-the-scenes for this case to be solved. Plus would have loved to see a big final family reunion, especially for Tharn's grandmother to see him alive, as that poor woman went through so much. Totally agree, having that Dao girlfriend in the finale was so unnecessary. She can't even voice act over the phone, LOL. But, I am sure this is a setup for the future GL series that Idol Factory is producing, with these two actresses in it? The special is coming out in April and will hopefully help tie up some of these loose ends. Lastly, I read that Saint is playing Phaya's older Gauda brother who started the war, mentioned in earlier episodes. Maybe he is going to be the new villain in season 2? Anyway, great and hilarious reactions as always, and best wishes to you for your continued success!

There's a theory that the Naga that saved Tharn was not actually Dr slowmotion, it was Tharn's own power. Plus seeing Montree afraid of Tharn was awesome.

I love this serie...interresting character..story...the love scenes are passionate and soft nothing vulgar...sometimes I feel like a stalker watching their intimicy...they have great chemistry

I don't think killing Chalathon was ever an option though, because killing him would just create even more negative karma in Tharn and Phaya's next life. They had to break free of the karmic cycle and to do that everyone's suffering had to be stopped, including Chalathon's. I suppose the only other way things could have ended was to continue to karmic cycle until Chalathon had so much bad karma that he lost his form entirely, but each reincarnation would have only been worse for Tharn and Phaya if they kept repeating cycle through violence. I also wish they had showed us Tharn convincing Chalathon to let go of him.
This still entered my top 5 bls of all time. It really felt like a series made with a ton of love and ambition.
there are a couple time Montree had called someone so i guess that person is the true villain. not sure who is it yet. also there is still a possibility of a spy amongst the team member. i hope we will get all those in the special ep, based on some of the pic released

We're getting a special episode that's what the teaser at the end is for, I think they're already filming it but I don't know when it'll come out. There's actually 2 endings by the way! The Channel 3 version has Phaya looking out at the river as the last scene so in that version Tharn never comes back, but I agree that they didn't want to upset the fans so they have this ending for the Uncut version, that way everyone's happy lol I personally prefer the CH3 ver (even if it's sad lol) because it actually makes sense, to me the Doc just giving up Tharn to Phaya felt really out of character and as you said convenient for the story. I wish they did something else like maybe have Phaya actually win that fight against the Doc and take Tharn back or something? IDK lol but hey it is what it is and I am actually excited for the special episode we're finally gonna see Phaya have his Garuda powers!!
ETA that the cut version also has way less of the flashbacks and the love scene maybe that's why I liked it better too lol
Filming was already done. It'll be shown during their fan meeting on April 6th, I think. But I don't know the exact date for international release though.
I personally would have hated the Ch3 ending not just because it's sad, but because it makes no narrative sense to me and sends a terrible message. The entire series they talked about overcoming their bad Karma and breaking the cycle of misery, and we all understood the subtext when past Phaya said I'll prove that a Garuda like me can love a Naga like Wasarut. He's basically saying love is love regardless of gender, race etc. So them not breaking that cycle and getting to be together, basically sends the message to anyone stuck in a similar cycle or situation such as depression, poverty, abuse etc, that they should just give up because they can't fight it, fate/ the darkness wins and they'll never break the cycle they are in. Which is a depressing message for any drama but especially an LGBT one, with the added subtext of Phaya's message, Tharn and Phaya's love really needed to win out in the end. That being said, I personally would have liked to see Wasarut's sister return to help them out, maybe unite the other Naga in condemnation of the Doc and they banish him back to the Naga realm forever. But I understand they probably wanted to keep it similar to the book, and the uncut ending is closer to the book's ending.

Yeah, I could definitely see enough there to build a second season if they wanted to, but from what most people have said, it sounds like just a special episode is planned right now
I loved this series! Plus it all centered around my birthday which was fun hearing the date and a huge party on that day. Second season or a special episode so we can have the family see Tharn back. On the live final episode with fand the NC scene had no pixels on the screen that’s why Babe said his new nickname is “ Peach”… lol…we didn’t see Khom propose I wanted to see that.. so you are correct there are some open places left for us to see

On serious note the show isn't that good, and has so much loop holes but only thing that saved this show was the chemistry of the MLs.

I had the same reaction to Khem getting shot like where did they shoot him? Cause if he's wearing the bulletproof vest an everything how did it happen?? also I totally thought Chart was gonna die from those shots but I guess he got lucky??

The Deus Ex Machina ending was disappointing. I think they could have condensed some of those filler bits in earlier episodes where crucial information was ignored to lengthen the run-time; then this episode wouldn't have been so rushed. Having said that, Billy acted his ass off in this episode.
