  • Paweł Mazanka is a member of the Forum for Dialogue Network and a Catholic priest. He works to preserve the memory of Jews in Szydłów. He is a Professor at the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw, where he runs the Metaphysics Department. He is involved in Jewish/Christian dialogue. In 2024 he received Forum for Dialogue grant for the installation of plaques commemorating those laid to rest at the Szydłów Jewish cemetery. This list of names was compiled thanks to the archival research of documents from 1886-1914 and 1918-1939. On September 15, 2024, the ceremony of unveiling of the plaques gathered the descendants of Szydłów's Jews from all around the world and inhabitants of Szydłów together.
