One thing I love about this show is how Frieren expresses her emotions indirectly. I doubt she even consciously realized that the Einsam's illusion of Himmel had made her mad, but the massive overkill she used on the attack spell to disperse the illusion shows how angry she truly was about it. There's subtle examples like that throughout the whole show.

Himmel is such a good dude, even the copy made by a monster is unable to deceive or cause harm.

Heiter also lived longer because he used healing magic on himself constantly.

So I was kind of right. He used his cleric stats to heal up

Stark: "Waaah! I'm so weak, there's no way I could beat that dragon!"
Also Stark: Casually cuts a giant fissure through a mountain while training
Gee Stark, I wonder why that dragon hasn't tried attacking the village ever since you showed up and started making a racket every night. It does explain why the villagers are so respectful towards Stark though - who would ever want to pick a fight with someone who can do stuff like that?

Frieren's style of teaching Fern. "Fern, you shoot the big bad monster while I hide behind this tree". The name of the troll, oh my, smh the Dwarf's name is Eisen (German for iron).

So if anyone in this show is "Iron Man", it's got to be Eisen.

I have heard special operations forces veterans who said the runts of the litter during training/selection sometimes transform into the finest warriors because they are used to staring defeat and fear in the face.

9:12 epic Fern face shot. It’s in the manga too, second only to the Fern pout

what you said about Heiter is somewhat correct. I heard somewhere that the priests who use that type of magic live longer. You have to be kind of "blessed" to be a priest, I think.

Frierens overkill was intentional, she noticed Fern couldnt do it, but it was explained, they are no threat with high density magic, so Frieren revealed the Einsam for Fern, to help her, snap out of it, as you see Fern shocked right as it happens 😊

Stark is WAY better than the blonde from Demon Slayer. Stark just lacks self confidence because he's had extremely difficult combat training from one of the most powerful warriors ever. (And his deep seated childhood trauma) Stark is powerful but constantly compares himself to his teacher, but, Frieren and Fern help him gain both the experience and confidence he needs. This is a very character centric story, not a plot driven one. Stark is only a few months older than Fern.
