Video was great. I used your video on that 8 ft. gate you made to guide me on my carriage garage door build I did. Made them around 4 years ago and absolute ZERO sagging on the doors. Thanks for the guidance.
Wish I was part of the first 100 comments to win the Metabo! But I gotta let you know, I really enjoyed the pop up pics and quick info on the items you were using. That’s a big help to see it and read it right there rather than looking for it in the description only. Thanks Paul, keep up the great work and video content!
Hi T.G. I really appreciate that! I try to give as much information as I can on products I use but sometimes my mind slips lol! I will have more giveaways in future videos and usually more than one. I believe viewers like you have shown them that it's worth giving more than one away.... Have a great day!
Hi Paul I came across your video I enjoy them It’s the way that you explain things it’s real clear it clicks The way that you show how to use different tools and tips and tricks that you show And explain keep up the good work
Brother, I was just thinking of you. I said to myself, why do you have a nice seeing any of paul’s videos on my TH-cam see? Then I went to check out your channel and I am glad to see that you are still up, running and doing well… Looking good brother
Paul I really loved your new Front Gate plus your new tips to build your Front Gate. Plus your new tools I really need to purchase a cordless nail gun. My Impact cordless drill just stopped working last week I have been looking around here at the different shops for a 18 or more volt cordless drill, I'm trying to find a sale on then because they are not cheap by any means. Paul I really think I will Build this new Gate IT really looks good 👍plus it's only a one piece Gate, I like that so I will use the old wood I used to build my first Gate. I built from your Awesome Video three years ago. Wood is very expensive here in Thailand the last Gate I sealed it with a wood preserver plus termite preserver. Termites are very bad here in Thailand. Thanks again Paul for this Totally Awesome New Front Gate I am going to be building it. God Bless You Have a Blessed Day to you and your family 👪 I built your last Gate for my Front Entrance three years ago. I made it with the lap Joints as you did. But I had one Problem with the way I mixed my Cement for my support pole to hold the Gate. The concrete footer cracked on both sides because here in Thailand we had a lot of rain that season its called rainy season here. So what I did was break up my concrete footers re mixed my concrete made the Hole wider and deeper. Bingo I was good to go my no sag Gate thanks to you I built this Totally Awesome Front Gate.
I really appreciate that my friend but they have much better people on youtube than me. I'm just grateful to viewers like you that give me the opportunity to share my knowledge while having fun! Have a great day!
Hi Clint, thank you for staying with me buddy! I’ve had a lot going on but I still enjoy posting and I will try to post more frequently. Have a great night and thanks again!
Good morning Clint, I have a good news buddy. You have been chosen as the winner for the impact driver kit. Please go to this site and give me your mailing information so Metabo can send you the Kit. www.paulstoolbox.com/pages/contact
Great build! I used your method (lap joints with z brace) on my fence gate build and it has stayed true for over a year! That Metabo impact looks nice too!
Thank you Dennis! So far I've been real happy with my Metabo Cordless tools, I also have a corded drill thats a beast for the money but haven't tried the corded saws yet. Have a great day!
Nice job Paul, as usual. I’m a contractor, and I watch all of you’re videos…you have some great ideas for sure. My wife and I are going to do some wood planks on a couple walls at our house, and she found a supplier to steal, I mean sell us 1/4” planks for a ridiculous amount. I remember a while back you did planks on one of your videos. I just went back and found it. I’m doing it your way! Yep you have some great tips and tricks on your videos. Thanks for all your hard work making these!
This gate is impressive. Was looking for the one you did with the center brace, but I will try it this way. I am doing a 5-ft walk-through gate and 10-ft two-door gate, both at my daughter’s house. Those Metabo tools look like quality, you’re the first pro I’ve seen on here using them! Thanks for your informative videos!
Thanks for the video Paul. Am building a similar one. Going to sandwich it with shed boards.. round hole in the top center for a round welcome sign!! Thanks again!!!
Wow Paul. Up to 336K Subs! Awesome!! Thank you for the new gate video. I love the way this one is finished off with the arch! Smart move by Metabo to make their impact driver waterproof!! Thanks Paul!
Nifty gate!! We have such winds here. I absolutely need to get the bigger posts on both sides of my side gate. Tricky given the space, or lack there of!! Would love one of those impact drivers!! Thanks for your videos!!
First time visiting your site I love your method and your delivery I plan on using your design for doors on a well house built from fence slats. Thank you keep up the great job!
Hi Paul! This couldn't have come at a more perfect time. I just put up a fence and have been trying to figure out how i want the gate to look. Thanks for all the tips! The safety glasses part was priceless !!!
Hey John, it's great to hear from you buddy! Sorry I haven't posted in a while, I had a few things pop up and we also had Hurricane Ida! Have a great day!
I like the water proofing, actually never heard of this brand, I have a sea of red milwaukee tools. Would be interesting to compare the brands. Great video Paul, a little faster than your other gate video from awhile back but got the important info out. Thanks for all that you do!
Hi Ramona, Metabo High Powered tools is basically what Dirtyharry70585 said. This was a merger between 2 professional tool companies. Hitachi(Popular tool co. from Japan ) and Metabo ( German power tool co. best known for heavy duty grinders). A holding company acquired them both and formed Metabo HPT, this company is aggressively adding a much larger line of both corded and cordless professional tools. I did not own many of Hitachi tools in the past but I tried out the Metabo HPT IP 56 Impact driver a couple of years ago and I have been adding to my collection ever since. I am not a brand specific person but I haven't been dissapointed with Metabo HPT tools. I have several different platforms myself because I like to test tools so I can stay informed and I also love Tools LOL! My advice to people is to stay with your platform if you like it unless you want something that is not offered in your particular platform. TH-cam has some great tool reviewers that get really in depth and are more versed with actual specs than I am. I do what I'm comfrtable with, I use tools that I like and I will give an honest opinion because I use them daily on projects. If a tool fails me or doesn't perform as well as I think it should I will not use it in my videos. I really appreciate you watching my video and I hope you come back! Thank you very much and have a great day!
Fence has an elegant look to it!
Video was great. I used your video on that 8 ft. gate you made to guide me on my carriage garage door build I did. Made them around 4 years ago and absolute ZERO sagging on the doors. Thanks for the guidance.
