Hey! I’m not done watching yet, but just to let you know, I turn my Speedys inside out and clean the interior with Oxi Clean fabric cleaner with a toothbrush, let it air dry and it works great!!!
Hi, thank you. Sorry for the late reply. You can’t get “rid “of cracks but by having them conditioned it makes them less noticeable. Since it natural untreated leather, cracks can happen with time. Hope this helps. Thank you for watching☺️
JL Matthews I’ve heard it works great on the lv leather. However I’ve never used it myself. I’ve only used the Apple Leather Care and it’s has worked great for me. One thing I do know regardless of the conditioner it that it may darken the leather. I don’t mind it, since it gives the leather a more even tone.
Great bag. Congratulations. Finally. I have to try the bubbles. I got a fashionphile bag that I NEVER used because of odor. They lied. Also another hand bag on instagram that smelled like cigarettes. I tried everything I wasted so much money and time on both bags. I'm glad your issue is solved. Have a great day and enjoy. 😊
I’m sorry that sucks. But keep trying different things maybe one of them will work. I almost gave up but ya those bubbles did something! Thank you for watching.
Well at least you GOT yours. I just paid $450 to a FB seller of preloved from the Philippines and got RIPPED OFF BIG TIME! He pestered me both night and day with videos of the 2 multicolored speedys and matching watches until I sent the money (via Western Union--now I wish I would've done a bank transfer because then my bank could've gotten my money back!) but once the money was sent, communication stopped. Once I started asking when it would get shipped, the (Covid & post office theft) lies of why they haven't yet shipped suddenly started. For all of those bags they've got coming in almost daily from Japan...what on Earth are they actually keeping them for? A bag museum?
This bag is so old and so cheap I don’t think you could expect anything better. It’s so old I would literally soak it in a tub of hot soapy water. I couldn’t handle the smoke smell. I am looking for a similar bag but w strap!
Hi, I have not used it as a baby bag. I know my friends have used the speedy 35 and 40 as the baby bag. Also you can checkout this video and Amy uses it as a baby bag and it looks great. I hope this helps & thank you for watching ☺️ th-cam.com/video/vTbz8jfLdmE/w-d-xo.html
You look great with that lighter hair tone! Sorry about your bag. I had the same thing happened with a 2nd hand bag I bought, it had a horrible cigarette smell that gave me a headache. I aired it for many days, washed the entire bag (didn't help at all), steamed, tried vinegar, baking soda, sprayed Lysol (the germ killing spray thing), and odor neutralizing spray, and the cigarette smell was still there just as bad. Ultimately what ended up helped the best was FABREEZE!!!! I sprayed Fabreeze, and let it air out for days. It helped the most, and eventually the cigarette smell toned down A LOT, and with the fragrance smell of Fabreeze, it ended up smelling like a nice perfume with a hint of smokey (intentional) smell. I could have totally just used it because the smell was no longer an issue, but I sold it (with the full disclosure) and never got a complaint. Try Fabreeze if you need more help with the smell. Glad it's better now though! BTW, where is the "after" photo of your bag after being cleaned? ;P
Hi thank you 😍 I’m so glad you were able to get the smell out too. I didn’t try fabreeze but I’ll give it a try next time. Thanks for the tip. I plan to upload a video with more info and sharing before and after pics. I kinda forgot to be honest. 🤪😒was to exciting on sharing that I could use my bag now. 🤣
@@cynthiaauthenticcyn593 i was watching this again because i might be getting a vintage bag that has cigarette odor, and now I wonder if it was the silica gel pack you put that took the smell away, not the plastic bags! :)
Hi sorry for the delay reply. But if you are referring to the air bubbles/package. I think the correct name is inflatable packaging film. I hope I answer your question.
who are the sellers? the price you got was good, but I don't like that smell...I had that experience and I ended up selling the bag and buying another...I didn't have the information I have now on how to get ride of it
Hi thank you for watching. The seller is next innovation. Yes I was so concern the smell would not go away. But it got a lot better and hope it stays away. 😊
@ *lvguci* You are so well-informed about luxury accessories and bags. You've obviously done your due diligence and the comparison to the US is very informative...because of course, I live in New York. thank you very much.
I purchased a Louis Vuitton from EBay as well a few years ago. I zipped some dryer sheets inside the bag for a few days & it worked for me.
I’m glad that worked 😉Since it’s a bummer when you get an amazing deal and it smells. Thank you for watching and sharing. ☺️
1 scoop of Downy Unstopables Beads. Leave in your bag for a week! Awesome!
Thank you I’ll try it next 💕
I did this too, worked well

👋 I’ve never done that and it sounds so simple. Thank you and I will try that. 😊 thank you for watching.
AuthenticCyn Hey, no problem!! Have an awesome weekend!
I love the bag, looks good
What is a “this”? Charcoal bag?
I like the bag and what a nice buy....how do you get rid of cracks on the handle?

Do you think this would make
A good baby bag ?

What is "this" besides the plastic bag? 🤔💜

I bet these bags get caught in the floods they have there often.
And they probably collect insurance claims and sell these water damaged bags.
