I have an old bag that’s very different from a new one I just bought. The buttons are a little different, the fabric is a little different, one handle is flat like the one you called fake and one is rounded. I bought both from Longchamp so I know they are both real.

I have one HIDUPZ bag I got in 2019, it's the LV white catogram speedy. It's counter quality and it has a nice honey patina now, so the leather is real. I think whatever makes you happy go for it. I've seen LV with plastic leather and blood red glaze...

I purchased a small handbag and large tote in their website, one is made in china and the other is made in vietnam. Had I not bought from the website I could easily pass one as a fake. None of the bag is identical. The made in china has a shiny and thicker nylon and the leather is stiff, the embossed horse is very prominent and the flap is quite rough. While the made in vietnam has soft leather so it bends on the shoulder comfortably, the embossed are not so visible and the nylon is thin, the inside flap is smooth. Simply put, nowadays it's hard to tell between real and fake because the differences among the originals are very visible. Reason could be the fact that they outsource their bags from different countries now.

Did you use these same products when you cleaned it for the very first time ? You did awesome 😎 I just purchased a pre-loved 1993 speedy 40 & I wanted to attempt to just revive it a little ❤ although for the age it looks great! I purchased off eBay as well ✨

Nice bag. Really torn between the older version of this buying pre-loved or forking out the money for new from the website but taking the chance on that new version of the leather which is far more matte and apparently less prone to peeling but man, the stories of the cracking are NOT good. I adore this original 'shiny' leather and flat chaps - even the inside pocket is bigger without the added zipper that's in there now.

Where did you get it authenticated?

It’s untreated leather trip and VINYL on the bag. It’s nothing special. Saddle soap for the leather - if it’s good enough for saddles and boots, good enough for your leather trim. The bag is made from vinyl, a baby wipe will clean that quickly without the use of soaps and other detergents! It’s literally a VERY overpriced vinyl bag, nothing more.

Why the music?

I bought two Longchamp bags on Poshmark, different sizes, different sellers. The first was clearly a fake, huge cheap zipper, NO tag inside, and a zipper pull that was glued and coming apart. The second bag was authentic and in perfect condition. Poshmark refunded the money to me from the first, fake bag.

My longchamp la pliage small bag does not have ‘Longchamp Paris’ written on the tag that’s inside the wall of the bag. It just says this ‘Made in FRANCE 0706109 SPE SEG 1621089CS203’, do you guys this this is authentic? Pls pls pls reply 🥺 thank you.

I've bought many designer bags in poor condition so I can do them up it always shocks me how bad people look after these things! Some are filthy 🤢(so bad I've had to return) I kind of enjoy doing them up though and seeing the final result! Great job!

I did the opposite of your 1st step. I used the Apple cleaner 1st, then rinsed with the water 2nd. Let that dry then used the Apple conditioner. Turned out great!
