Being a filter cleaner here too, I usually would use caustic soda, to help it get ever deeper into that grease

How do you clean the motors? The fan itself doesn’t the grease get up there? I have a similar set up but I don’t have those filter metal screens.

Oozing everywhere? I clean commercial kitchen hoods for a living. That hood is basically spotless compared to the ones we do. Lol
