@@sntone3055 she paused because of the chest vs head voice comparison. she likes Lea, but i think she thought a chest voice would be better instead of the mixed head voice Lea did on a specific lyric.
She didnt pause a lot because shes reviewing a kid. But you know she has a lot of unopened consonants such as her E's.
Elha, before she won The Voice of the Philippines, was a street vendor of some known Filipino street foods. She sings while selling anyway. But look at her now, she grew up and really, she badly need a spotlight.
Not all the Filipino though, because i love singing but singing don't love me. 😭

I love her pink dress! It's so refreshing to see a young girl dressed like a young girl. Drives me crazy that 10, 11, 12, 13 year old girls feel like they need to dress like grown women in order to impress. Adult women already get the message that in order to be and feel beautiful that you have to show as much skin as possible and dress as provocatively as possible. It's extremely sad and a shame on our culture that young girls (and grown women for that matter) feel pressured to dress in a sexualized way. Ok, I'm done with my rant now...😞

I agree completely. Ella's voice is just one of a kind. How often can you see someone singing the song better than the original artist?
Singing/performing is not only about hitting the notes. Any school choir kid could maybe hit a high note better than Sia but this doesnt mean they are better. Sia is an ARTIST. This is her song, her life story and the pain and desperation in her voice when she sings it are unmatchable. This child just reproduces sounds, like a trained parrot, that's all. She has no life experience, no artistry, no deepness, no emotion, nothing to be better than Sia.
SIA POLICIA... Is it because your name is Sia? The truth is that the ear is not lying what it hears.. Truely this performance is better than the original.. The singer tools are clearly shown here.. Control, resonance, dynamics, techicalities...makes a song so good to hear and that, she does it all in this song..
Honestly, I disagree. This is Sia we're talking about, nobody can beat her at her own game. This song (and Titanium) are literally Sia's heart and soul down to the meaningful lyrics, pure power and raw emotion Sia holds whenever she sings these songs specifically. Elha is really great that is genuinely undeniable but saying she did better than Sia is kinda pushing it.
Note: let's be honest here half of the people here are filipinos so I'll just say iy now... *stop being subconsciously biased and saying your people did better because they came from your country! >:(*

I remember watching this when the show first aired. She was amazing. Can easily belt out Mariah Carey’s whistle notes while lounging on the couch which she did during the interview with Steve. Astounding.
