Although these fires are not preventable, the size and speed is. If Colorado were to invest a fraction of the money that gets spent to fight these fires into forrest mitigatation this would not completely solve the problem, but drastically improve ability to fight. These things are common sense, we however as a state squander the money that should be spent on this. Then when it happens we all act like there is nothing we can do to prevent this. Stop spending state money on pet projects and spend it on what is needed.

These WildLand Fire Fighters are disgustingly UNDER PAID !!!
You can make more at Walmart or McDonalds. So if something isn’t done about their PAY, you won’t even GET anyone to FIGHT these FIRES!!
If everyone is alive, and your animals are alive, and the Fire Fighters are alive……. you keep moving forward.
