He’s completely delusional, we have all known REALLY good musicians who go through the grind of touring at small bars and promoting themselves, lots of travel, not the best lifestyle and they typically have a day job still and don’t make any insane grand plans to be “discovered” but rather do it bc that’s their calling they love the music maybe even the lifestyle and these are talented individuals that play any instrument, know the ins and outs of the business and grind away. Even they have a very low chance of ever making actual profit from it, it’s a tough and rigged industry, but I guess that’s what he has to tell himself rather then he’s just awful
