I really like the supermix 4, it shines where the explorer fails in too thick mid bass and better treble extension, but I still prefer the explorer as my daily driver. Listen to hip hop about 3-5hrs a day while working. I also use the supermix 4 on my oculus 2, it's not crazy loud but the imaging is great on it
Getting mine some time in the next week or so. Heard good things, and I can't wait to find out how they sound. Can't help but feel this set would've looked better if Simgot engraved their logo in the middle of that circle. Really liked that in the sets I have so far from them.
Quickly became one of my daily drivers. They're absolute detail beasts in the price range, the soundstage has excellent width, and they're pretty versatile overall. Only caveat is that you shouldn't crank these up too high. You definitely need to keep these at mid-volume as they can get energetic in the vocals the more you crank them up due to the Harman-like upper midrange.
I just A/B SM4 vs. D41. SM4 has a less detailed, and less textured bass. The mids and treble are very good and natural-sounding. D41 has better bass and similar mids but a thinner and more aggressive treble. Divinus velvet wide bore tips improved the bass on SM4, but D41 bass is still more detailed.
@@bettakl3430, not really. SM4 with Divinus Velvet wide bore tips improves SM4 bass. The instrument separation and treble are better on SM4. The fit is also better on SM4.

Saw this review, how does it stack up, in your opinion, to the earphones listed in your Hall of Fame? Some of them are the same approximate price point.
My YT list usually needs an update - the one on my website is maintained better. I'd put the Supermix 4 probably in the top 5 at its price point right now. It's great value.
I have sm4 and s12 pro. For music s12 is great but for gaming sm4 is much better as footstep localisation and distance gauging is better. If u must go planar for gaming i would go for raptgo hook x but its discontinued now i think.
@@anon-bu8gr thank you for your insight! I ordered the sm4 and should have it soon. I never heard of the raptgo hook x since I'm new to the iem industry, saw a review with Fresh Reviews about it after searching and it was one of his top mid budget iem for gaming, it seems like it was replaced though since he doesn't add it to his description anymore, dunno if that also has to do with it not being available anymore. Would have been a great choice for me although it's a bit more expensive than the sm4.
@@ZEUS-fn6wothey're pretty great, for music not as good as others but for gaming it's the best bang for buck, the music is still good though but since I have an Airpods Pro 2 it doesn't come close. Also I haven't added a Quedelix or Sound Blaster which might make the SM4 even better, ofc an Apple Dongle works too.
Hi, what did you get? One month.. just shows you how fast IEM roll outs come. The Origin is highly rated, but no one seems to talk about it anymore (that I have seen. ) The Supermix 4 is a true value for your money IEM. I have the Hype 4's and the Supermix is close to that level of quality in blind sound tests! And I love my Hype 4's.
Patience, brother! It appears they are good but they are probably priced as they should be. I have bad experience with the older meze IEMs and I'm going to stay away for a while. I'm talking about bad build quality on 12 Classic and 11 Neo, they both died on me in under 3 months, the cable was terrible, not only springy and bad quality but it stopped working. I think the were made for very cheap in China and we all know that the chinese can make some really high quality stuff but they did it for cheap.
Hi David, I'm disappointed with this item, its thin and bright sound, no stand. I have EW200 and they are good, better in comparison. I have the Apple dongle and an Akliam PD5. I've read reviews on Reddit and they rate it as very good. I listen to rock and blues mostly, with my Android phone and iPad Air 2. Could you give me a recommendation please?
I was wrong about the size of the eartips. It's my first multi-driver iem. It's different, beautiful sound. Thank you very much, I will continue to see you with pleasure.
The clarion eartip gives Supermix a fantastically smooth sound. Be sure to try it!

Good looking set
The name is certainly fitting. I'm still enjoying my EW200.
Listening with my EW200 at the moment :) Although, I do feel like it's fatiguing. Not an eq guy so I got a 7hz legato on the side :))))

Comparison with Nova?
I have both, personally I prefer the SM4, because of the more detailed highs and holographic sound field

Hi! Main difference between Supermix 4, Aurora and Hype 4?
Aurora is airier, a bit brighter and sounds more high-fidelity. SM4 is more laid-back and smooth. I don't have Hype 4.

Yes.

How does this compare to the MP143's?
It has less upper bass and not as much warmth in the lower midrange. It has a slightly brighter tonality.
