UNDERSTANDING TYRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM

In this video, I'm covering tyre pressure monitoring systems, the components and their operation. All tyres in general are porous and require regular pressure checking and adjustment. Manufacturers recommend that tyre pressures be checked every week or even daily on high usage vehicles.
If tyre pressures are not checked regularly, it can lead to premature wear and in some cases, tyre failure may occur. Designers and engineers developed a system to deal with this. Tyre pressure monitoring.
The tyre pressure monitoring system or TPMS is a system that indicates and or warns the driver that a tyre or tyres have lost pressure. These systems can be a direct or indirect type. The rolling diameter of a tyre can be calculated from wheel speed sensor information.
