Does anyone know if the early Floyd BBC programs will be released on DVD?...the early BBC series like Floyd on Fish, Food, France, etc. It would be great if all these would be released. Maybe a campain should be started to get it all released on DVD? would be released. Maybe a campain should be started to get it all released on DVD?
Because of KF I discovered France. Because of KF I discovered Provence, Because of KF I discovered my favorite town, beautiful Isle Sur La Souge. If I ever get the TV show I am producing " A Wine Guy" on national TV it will be dedicated to KF. If the BBC had any brains they would have had his shows on DVD years ago, I hope they remaster them and release them. I only have a few old Floyd on Fish and Floyd on France on VHS, that aired on PBS, poor quality.
I am a big Floyd fan. I loved the freedom he exuberated in his shows. Horse manure to the food police who want to treat adults like childen...no salt, no cigarettes, no fat. Floyd is a hero to everyone who wants to enjoy life! Notice I didn't say "no alcohol". That's because the food police like their drink and drugs. We don't have to worry about that becoming politically incorrect, do we?!!
I’m viewing this because I’ve just read Floyd in the Soup in which he describes his transition from restaurant owner to tv personality. The world of cooking is poorer for his passing.
I wish I could do my job looking (and being) totally pissed - just a total pleasure. But as I am a BA trans-atlantic 747 pilot it may not go down well with the management.....
Perhaps now the Beeb will get their head out of their asses and start broadcasting some of his amazing series instead of that shite "Hairy Bikers" and that big woman Ainsley Harriott. If they need a recommendation (doubtless they do) try Floyd on Spain or France. RIP Keith - you lived life to the full!!
i love the intro of a close up of floyd looking pissed and necking a wine
it's beer in a wine glass
It was years ahead of itself.
Brilliant. An all time classic
Legend
Yummy! Kieth loves his wine, a little bit too much and I love my seafood! He was brilliant! RIP!

Oh, my sock drawer is open.
Flambé Floyd
We can sooo campaign for that! Hey Rage were number one all thanks to an internet facebook campaign. Lets do it.
Love Floyd and seafood. Doesn't those langoustines look a bit like little aliens?

@VictorAWineGuy Amen brother
i really had to look up langoustine.
the camera in this show is awful. It's rarely in focus, and it seems like the camera man never knows what Floyd is doing.
That's part of the charm.
@@andyhedges5705 Floyd was one of the first to credit the viewing audience with a sense of humour.
did Floyd actually cook anything sober? or was he just a drunk talkin crap for years
Not gastronauts!
