Its genuinely so much better, it never dives deep where you cant sonic bomb it, only when changing areas, and the areas arent all that big so its annoying wiggle forward attack cant take it so far away that you have to run after it for ages. Sure its a bit cramped in the areas but if you know to stand to its front left and bait out the water attacks its easy peasy.

I came from mh1 on the ps2, i genuinely used to believe plesioth could only be killed with ranged weapons, it was when i learned that you have to learn other kinds of weapons.
Plesioth on MHFU was walk on the park compared to the first game

Monster Hunter is that game that when you’ve learned a monster’s attacks it’s easy to beat. Plesioth’s hip check isn’t even that bad, stay under his legs and roll at the right time and it’ll completely miss you.
