I have this keyboard and I love it. I have G915 TKL, Razer Blackwidow Elite, HyperX TKL, Drop CTRL, Keychron K2, Logi MX Keys, and Apple Keyboard, for me, I like the Keychron K4 V2 the best.
Keep in mind that the Keychron warehouse is in Hong Kong. It ships from there, and if you don't like the product, you're responsible for returning it to there. Which means, effectively, there are no returns. Keychron doesn't offer a return label, so you can pony out more money than you spent on the actual keyboard, trying to return it.
How difficult is long typing sessions when you dont have a palmrest? I am thinking of getting one to have in my backpack for better typing with my mobile devices.

Highly recommend getting the hotswap and putting something like BOX Jades in. Gateron, Otemu and Cherry are all fairly low tier if you're talking about the standard red, brown, blue
@@h1m37m Yeah jades are the loudest they get, even navies which are heavier are somehow less clicky. I work from home so no worries there, I suggest like Silent Zealios? Big tactile bump so super satisfying and nice feedback but also silent as they come. :)

my personal experience with all 3 with 2 different brands: gateron and mx cherry switches: blue: very loud but incredibly satisfying typing experience. red: gamers choice. But imo feels too hollow. But perfect for quick one button presses (gaming) but not for typing. brown: a happy medium between both blue & red. Not too hollow like the reds, not too loud like the blues, absolutely improved my typing speed. My favourite
Great review, quick question does the spare keycaps have an esc key. I like the aesthetics but want to replace the orange key caps with the space gray to match the rest of the keys. Thanks
@@connull it is not superior, they’re both cheap plastic. However the K4 let you choose the option to have aluminum frame which would be better. I’m saying that if both have the plastic case (the “normal” K4) then the GK96S’ plastic looks better, not necessarily feel or made better. However GK96S has white case. To each their own, I was just trying to give OP another option.
In Wired Mode, are you still charging the battery when you are using it or is it like you are just using like a regular Wired KB without affecting the battery every time you put it in that mode?
Just for curiosity, why would that matter? And, as an electronics point of view, most likely the power supply as directly connected to the entire circuit, so It will be charging when using wired mode. But that's a plus, as you can search online, keeping a lithium battery device always charged is the best way to preserve the life-span of such battery
@@andrefpereiraalves eh, nope. 50% charge is the best and if the keyboard uses the battery even in wired mode that would cycle through the battery, whixh is not great for battery life span
@@Anikodi2612 ehh browns arent all that. Id say get linears for smoothness and blues for clicky, and novelkeys, zealios, c3, and the BOX switches before the browns for tactiltity. But you make do with any
I swapped out the keycaps on mine and it made a big difference. I went to white with black legends because as I get older light grey on dark grey is harder to read. also, the keycaps were PBT, so they felt better under finger to me as well.

@@peaq3319 yea so that thing is amazing man. Typing is awesome and overall good build quality i have gateron browns. My a key has a bit more resistance and tactile feedback than the other ones. I would recommend using a deskmat while using because it is quite hollow and springy. If you are using one though it has quite a nice bit of thock and sounds nice. I got o rings for fun and it is actually quite nice with them, does not feel like membrane or something like that. Just makes it a lot more quiet. Oh and it came here in first of February so exactly one month which is ok i think considering it came straight from china. I also got their wood palmrest which definitely is a must in my opinion because the keyboard does sit pretty high, with it though it is really comfortable typing with it. Overall design on my desk is also stunning and it sure is a nice deal for what you get so overall great keyboard would recommend lol haha.
I am getting one and will be plugging it into my PC, should I worry about the age of my PC (pretty old) and whether or not it will be compatible? I am pretty sure my PC does no have wireless capability lol
i really like this keboard, but it came to me a bit different from what i see in this video, what i mean is the color of key caps look very similar , there is no big diffrente between the shade of gray. why is that? am i scamd?

if you're a big fan of customising your keybord I'd highly recommend just getting ANSI!

yes, it does - I also was not a fan of the "standout " orange key cap and they have included a grey based esc key that can be swapped in

Check out epomaker new GK96S, it has way more options and has a white version too. Plus the case while also plastic don’t look as cheap.
